Insane game 1, building 3rd CC after first observer is sniped is a pro move, building 4th CC right after that is a Flash move. This is Flash at his peak, scarily perfect.
First game was closest, the fake recall into 4th base push by Rain was a beauty. Then Rain did some questionable attacks and bled off to many units. Which lead to a loss.
Honestly I wish they would just leave like an hour of blank runtime on all the vids, it kinda sucks when after game one you already know what's going to happen. I can't complain too much though, cause those games were sick! I hope he takes this season

Seeing how dominant Rain is in PvP match up, I tend to believe that the finals would be nowhere near interesting if it was a Rain vs Snow match whereas here? You have literally the "Terrans Destroyer" against the "Ultimate God" himself. I really do hope it will end up as close as their RO8 match in ASL Season 5.

it honestly looked like Flash got in Rain's head. When that vulture run by scouted everything and got to the probes, you could see the frustration on Rain's face. And then the flub game 3 was incredibly uncharacteristic of Rain. Pretty unfortunate we couldnt see him play to his potential

Flash demonstrated here what made season 7 of asl so pointless. He didn’t participate. He’s the greatest sc player of all time and has to be in a tournament to give it validity.
Flash's attack, defence, strategy, counter attack, rush and counter rush, scouting, macro and micro, tactics and creativity are all way beyond rain and any other player in the world, everything is done is the best possible way and to absolute perfection.
We do not judge a player by 2 seasons' performance, we look at all seasons and he is the best player without a doubts. Counting the number of championships is stating of facts, and it has nothing to do with disrespect.

Did rain not see his 4th with his observer? It looked like he wasted the recall onto only 2 tanks and a few vultures instead of recalling directly onto his 4th. Maybe he just didn't see the 4th or soemthing. I think if he kills that fourth he might win the game but he didn't kill much. Also he attacked into the natural and lost a shit ton of stuff.
Problem is you can't recall into terran expansions. They look like a juicy target but if you don't kill the sorrounding tanks it will become a deathtrap super fast, not to mention T almost allways able to save the CC just by lifting. The goal is to reduce the tank count mainly. Killing the 4th vs a terran who was 3 bases for 10+ minutes won't really make a difference , you either get into the main to stop the production or just focus on eliminating the tanks.

well, tech paths are two: bio or mech. bio is not viable vs protoss because Reavers. mech has only 3 units, vulture tank goliath. goliaths are situational, they're needed as anti-air while their ground attack and mobility is lame. starport units are situational too. what should Terran use?

Rain always disappoints vs Flash. Always loses in the same fashion, tank maxed army roll over Protoss army. Vs any other Terran, Rain's army engagements and maneuvering is so much more on point, it's like he gets crippled by the pressure of Flash.

@Kay snow has a different playing style against rain who has a lot of similarity with Bisu. One, snow uses a lot of reavers while rain mostly uses dragoons and zealots. Two, if terran goes tanks, Snow will use Carriers. This being said, Snow definitely has an advantage against Flash. Hope he wins though even though flash has a lot of wind

1:17:34 was nothing to do with rain. It was a the dragoon bugging out - a common issue for all protoss in this game. Very unlucky
Rains probe in game 3 was a dead giveaway of his cheese. He started microing that probe like 2 hatch muta...
When You let loose your observer just use Patrol instead of Move. Then it will immediately turn around and run away when attacked by turret.
