    I have a nomad and I have an iPad Pro. I like and use the iPad, I LOVE the Nomad. Screw the specs ;-)

      That’s what I’m saying! They both have their uses!

    I have an iPad Pro, which is my primary “computing” device. I also have a MacBook Pro, which I use for the few things I can’t use the iPad for. I have (and love) a reMarkable 2 that gets used absolutely every day and most of the day many days. I’m waiting on an A6X2 Nomad, which I intend to use as an augment to the reMarkable 2. If you are a notebook user, the e-ink devices are absolutely worth looking into!

    Nice video. I plan on getting a supernate because I love my paper and journals. It will not be a full replacement - but it can do so much to remove my scribbles and sticky notes. I tried a remarkable (from a friend) which was awesome. I like the supernate functions. You did a great job comparing and explaining the why's. A notebook is different than a digital notebook which is a different species from a full tablet.

      Exactly! And yes I no longer have sticky notes or scratch paper around anymore thanks to the Supernote! I’m glad I could be helpful! Let me know using the Supernote goes!

    I have also decided after months of thought to go with the supernote because of your video. I question if I should go for the heart of metal pen or a regular cheaper one from amazon? One final thought. I seen on reditt a guy some how put a different on off switch on it. do you know of any upgrades? thanks and how do I put my own image on the cover like you did? thanks

      I haven’t done any research or tried to upgrade the hardware of the Supernote at all, but I personally prefer the Standard Pen and I have some videos on the channel showing why that is. I also just made a Short on the channel that shows how to get a custom screen saver. Hope that helps!

    Thanks again for a great video, and as always a very honest feedback, so valuable! You mention the price being expensive but the experience is good; now getting it in Europe is reallly expensive due to taxes, shipment, etc. How much would you estimate the maximum price worth paying (as you probably got it as standard price)?

    • @Graf-XTechReviews
      @Graf-XTechReviews  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I mean obviously I think it depends on your purpose for it and how much you have a budget for but for me I wouldn’t pay much more than $500

    • @user-ho6cw7fn8r
      @user-ho6cw7fn8r 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@Graf-XTechReviews Thanks, the price in Europe is way too high then, when ordering on their website via the EU Store, definitely makes the device too expensive. Your feedback really helped here!

    Hi, I really like your videos. I still do not have a Supernote. I discovered it almost one year ago and since then I have been trying to make up my mind. I like the company philosophy and the sofware improvements focused always in what they claim 'For those who write',... but still I have not got one. I even ordered a Nomad twice and then cancelled it because I am waiting for the A5x2... I hope it really is worth the wait. I want it for writing notes. Just that. Then, for reading I have got my Kobo Libra. And for other things, my computer. Well, actually I use a Samsung Tab for note taking with Samsung Notes, but I think I woul like better the Supernote, just as I like better the Kobo for reading...so your videos really help me a lot to keep me waiting as they confirm many of my thoughts. Thank you for your work.

      I’m very glad that my videos offered you some help and confirmed some of what you are thinking! I truly do think my Supernote is better than my regular tablet for taking notes.

    Concerned about the size of the A6X2 - Waiting for the AX52. Love this tech but again, the size is a huge drawback for me personally.

      Yeah that makes sense. I hope to get that in hand as well when it comes out and want to do comparisons with it

    Just got a Nomad... I haven't even unboxed it yet... wondering if I should have got a different device instead. I do voice to text a lot. I heard the Boox can do it. But I am sure it will not have some features the Supernote has. I have an Android phone and tablet. I don't have any Apple products

    • @Graf-XTechReviews
      @Graf-XTechReviews  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      If you are used to Android, you will be very at home at Boox as that’s what they run. To me, Boox tries to do too much for E-Ink and that frustrates me, but if you need voice to text then I’d say go with it.

    • @brendalg4
      @brendalg4 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Graf-XTechReviews it sounds like it might be missing features Supernote has, or not do them as well. Such as linking. I can't remember if Boox doesn't have it at all or if it's not very powerful. What do you think Boox is doing that it shouldn't? Is it where it is a jack of all trades, master of none? Of course there are times where voice to text is impossible anyway. That kind of stuff could be a video.
      This could be a video... how to know whether to get a tablet or an e-ink device. I don't really care if it's a full-featured tablet or not. I know that's big for others. I would like it to be able to record and play audio though. Doesn't have to be color. One big thing for me is being able to organize notes instead of having them spread all over the place through different apps or on physical paper

    • @Graf-XTechReviews
      @Graf-XTechReviews  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @brendalg4 yes there are features such as linking and headings that are pretty much exclusively for Supernote. Boox tries to mimic some of those but they are not as powerful at all. Yes, Boox to me is a Jack of all trades, master of none. I do have a video comparing an iPad Pro to the Supernote in which I do go over the benefits of a full featured tablet and more comparisons like that will be coming. I no longer have any Boox devices unfortunately as a returned them because of them really not fitting my use case.

    Can I move completely over to The Nomad for your bible reading? Have you?

    • @Graf-XTechReviews
      @Graf-XTechReviews  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I still use a Bible app for certain things because sometimes I like to read while taking notes, but I have replaced my physical copy for a lot of scenarios

    I was really interested in e-ink notebooks since I am a therapist who takes client notes in my daily work flow. But over $400 for the "writing experience"??? That's first-world aspiration stuff. I'm back to my cheaper Android tablet!

      That is a very fair complaint which is why I made it one of the downsides. I really do wish they could start to bring the cost down on these products

    • @HelloGleb
      @HelloGleb 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Tammy, it can do far more than just take notes. I assure you.

  • @joco467
    @joco467 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

    No comparison to actual pen and paper?
    Major downside is battery dependency and loss of data due to software/hardware malfunctions.
    Both of these just do not exist with paper.
    New Nomad user here, having a bit of buyers remorse. I do like it but it’s not worth the $$$. I’m keeping it though, trying to rationalize the benefits. Long term seems to be where the only real benefit will be, so far, and that’s only if I keep it to replace several notebooks that would theoretically pile up over time.
    It is really cool though, use it daily at work. Constantly afraid I will drop it or destroy the HOM2. Already had one malfunction and lost a whole day of notes, luckily the phone app had a backup that saved properly.

    • @Graf-XTechReviews
      @Graf-XTechReviews  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yeah I totally get those complaints as well. I do actually have a comparison video between the Nomad and paper in which I do go over the battery life. I’ve never had a software problem myself where I lost any data but I can totally understand that concern. Let me know how continued use goes for you hopefully that software malfunction was a one off thing!

      Charging every three days with heavy use over here. A non issue. Have noticed some syncing issues but so far this has already made massive difference in keeping me organized

    • @joco467
      @joco467 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yeah syncing is when I lost data on the Nomad, but it restored on the next sync. Charging is about the same for me. Every few days to keep it above 30% or so.
