To the author of the story, I want to tell you what i did 15 yrs ago when I was in your situation. I joined a cooking club since I love international cooking, a gym, take vacation to many different places, I visit the Galapagos in Ecuador 3 times and this have really blow my mind and gave me a fresh new meaning to life rather than thinking and trying to fix a cynical miserable relationship which ilI was in. At that times I used to believe I was in some sort of a "Stockholm Syndrome." When I was in Argentina, Ecuador and Venezuela, I have met some relatively wonderful and very honest out going family oriented Hispanic women. All these things have truly help me to move on without any regrets of my deceitful girlfriend then and it even help to boost my self esteem once again. Do not sit by yourself in your home country thinking about her, you will spiraling in a mental breakdown and you will want to do something even more stupid than whatever you are going through. Tell yourself, "She isnt the only fish in the ocean" you can do it, you can move on, you are old enough to get pqsss this unless you are some immature person who simply love punishment.

I have sad news for many of these guys. Real love that results in a permanent relationship is very rare in today's times. It's rare in the west. It's rare everywherre. It becomes even more rare as men get older. If you're not in your early early 20s and in your first relationship with a girl in her first relationship, you can pretty much kiss true love goodbye. If a woman has been around the block a few times, she will have lost her ability to pair bond. Once you accept that, you can proceed with life with a different strategy and be happy. If you're in the older demographic, play but don't fall in love.

To the author: You've made the biggest and most important step, which is to recognize that you are in the throes of addiction. There are various ways to deal with a harmful addiction, but the best one in this particular instance is Cold Turkey. It's going to take a huge amount of strength, but cancel your upcoming trip. Stay at home or at a holiday destination that isn't Thailand and get your head together. Forget about the money you've already spent; if you come back and try to make it work you'll only lose more. The reason she's going in for the kill lately is that she knows she's got you hooked. Like coming off anything Cold Turkey, it's going to be tough and painful, but you'll be back in control of your life on the other side of it, and you'll be a better man for it.
My best advise to anyone who is sponsoring a Thai lady is to accept that in vast majority of situations the lady has multiple sponsors and is still seeing short term customers and may also be in a relationship with a Thai man. So if you want to continue this relationship you should accept you are paying for the privilege of her being your holiday girlfriend. Sunshine is the best disinfectant so you can tell her you know the truth and negotiate a fee for her services while vacationing. Financially it would be cheaper to just hire a holiday GF every time you come or have different one every day or two but if you are so attached to her you could make an arrangement which is satisfactory to both and there is no need to lie or pretend. She will provide services you require on vacation and you will pay for them. After all when you work for an employer you provide service hot him and he pays you for it.

Well, this seems to happen fairly often, so you need to either accept that she's a liar and insincere and just sees you as a means to get money and be okay with that, OR tell her goodbye and move on quickly and cut all contact. Hmm it seems the only problem here is your feelings, lad. You can have her stay with you when you are in Thailand, just by paying her for that service. You do not have to sponsor her for that, just make a deal for what it costs you when you are actually in Thailand and with her, with no real contact and no payments besides that. No monthly sponsorship, just payment for what happens when it happens. It does not seem that you can have her 'for yourself' while you are not in Thailand, nor does it seem that you can have her exclusively even if you lived in Thailand, as she is clearly still married. So, just tell her from now on you will pay her to be with you when you are in Thailand, and that's that. She will bark and cry and howl, perhaps, but she will likely accept it over not having that periodic income at all. Alternatively, just stop all contact, come to Thailand and be with a few other girls, and you will soon be cured of your amourous feelings for her. I have lived in Philippines for 12-15 years (Covid break) and I will give you two examples of this type of activity but for Filipina (I am sure Thai girls are the same)
1. Father drops his 18-19-year-old daughter off to a flat in my block where she spends 2-3 hours with a 70+ year old American and then her father comes and picks her up again - supporting her family = good daughter
2. Husband drops his wife off to the same American and he picks her up again 2-3 hours later - she now has his Red Horse beer money so he can be the big man and buy the beers for him and his mates = good wife
Edit - The only time the husband ever got annoyed with his wife is when she once stayed longer at the American house as it was Valentines Day and the husband wanted to spend some time with his wife as he loved her.

6 months........ says it all man it will take any bar girl well over a year before she even begins to believe you are sincere, the longer they have worked the bars the more they have been lied to and let down, every time you get hurt emotionally you close off your emotions and ability to trust, its just human nature and its why it is so difficult to make a real relationship work with a bar girl.
