Never think that repeating yourself on the steps you’re working on are getting old. I’m sure many of us need the repetition to get our brains wrapped around the process....and besides, you have new viewers all the time that need to understand the steps in making all these amazing bags! 😉. Keep up the great work!!!
I love the bag as I have 6 cats and ferals and 💜 is my fav color. I wish I could sew like you:) Nice organization idea w/ the magnets. Ty for your creativity and great style 🤗
I’ve started to consider stitching things like the handles/straps, anchors, zippers (folding down the front ends at a 90* angle), zipper panels & other small miscellaneous pieces as part of my “prep” work 😆 idk y I think of those little stitching things as prep work but I always do it after I’ve cut everything, after I’ve interfaced everything, right before I start my panels but usually right after that I add my purse feet (if the pattern calls for them & can be added early). It’s just strange how my brain as started to process it as prep work 🤷🏽♀️. But in my rhythm, it just makes sense. I think you have a lot to do with it bc I’ve learned so much from you and you always do those steps usually before you start the actual bag process.
Thank you for the great tutorial. It hurts my hands to turn a bag like this. I only sew one long side of the lining and leave the other long side and both sides open. I also insert the bag into the lining and then I just have to pull the open lining up and over the exterior so I’m not squishing my exterior bottom which makes it sooo much easier on my hands.
Love the fabric choices,...feel like the flap would look amazing if it had been quilted in diamond shapes (intersecting lines) prior to assembly. Hmm!!
Hi Lauren! Great bag! I sized my pattern to 85% and have never done that. Do I follow all same instructions and seam allowances in the pattern even though I sized it down? I already started cutting my vinyl at 85% and I am thinking now I should not have been so adventurous. :-(
Maybe this is a silly question, but how do you interface vinyl if you can’t iron the vinyl? Love your videos. Hoping to take the plunge and make my first bag soon. 😍
That variegated thread really pops on that dark canvas. I’m about to go buy a bunch now.
I don't care that it's the same steps over and over! Your a great teacher! An inspirer!!! And your content is ASMR to me!
This video is awesome. So appreciate your time. Nice to see the cat was checking on your progress. I have an inspector too.

We must need to see it over and over as we keep watching same ones over and over
Love this bag. I heard Miss Dorothy and actually went and checked on our cats. Blessings :) 😃

Some piping would def give the bag a more high end look, I cannot wait to do it. A beautiful job indeed.
The material you chose is so cute...your cat design is adorable.
Love the colors and fabrics you choose for the bag! Totally match your hair perfect! 😊
Thank you Lauren. Great video.
Good afternoon. I love the colors you used. This backpack was beautiful 🌹 Campinas-sp Brazil

Such a cute shirt... you shoulda been wearing that when you did the bat wing wallet!
Love this bag! Do you mind sharing where to get the magnetic snaps?

Lauren,
Outstanding tutorial . Do you sale the zipper template, if not, do know where I can purchase one?
Hi Lauren,
I have located the zipper template . Thank you.
Why do you such a big space in the middle when folding the straps over the tape?
Do you have any suggestions for those of us that are new to bag making as to how to get your top stitching straight?
Practice!!
What kind of material is the lining of this bag, and where do you buy it, thank you so much for teaching us.

Thank you for pricing. No one should sell for less because it diminishes our value.
Is the cat fabric a vinyl
I find it so much easier to have the bag right side out with the opening in the lining the bag almost turns itself.
Loved . Beijos do Brasil 💜😘🌻

It’ll be great!!! You can make your seam allowances smaller if you’d like!! Just make sure you’re consistent if you do!

Vinyl right side down. Interfacing on top. Pressing cloth. And short times of applying heat if using an iron. Make sure it doesn’t melt
Where do you get your fabrics from???? I would love to be able to purchase them.
Where do you get your sew in labels? I'm looking for foldover labels I can order with custom artwork.
Sorry for all the questions, but where do you get the double sided tape?
