Now say you wanted to change your start point, to a specific point where your tool starts off of the job. How would you do that? I have been running a job at my work, it has a 1.5mm crown with a 55.624mm rad being cut in G19, But for some reason when I use surface parallel even giving it an extra 20mm total offset in the parameters the 12.7mm ball end mill starts on the part. Also I am coming from the bottom up, so it is wanting to bury into a massive amount of stock. I have tweeked the Program manually to give a few more cuts in the Y axis before it does so, but would be nice if I could figure out how to do it right in mastercam lol. Thank you for the video, and for any feedback given. I also can send pictures if needed!
I enjoy watching your tutorials.. I have a question, I programmed a part that has a large "chamfer" if you will, along a radius, I used finish flow line, and have checked all settings but the chamfer appears to do small linear cuts creating facets.. how would I correct this? Thanks in advance!
@@TomStikkelman 2018.. I did research, found the filtering area, but only got it to make smaller line segments, meaning more lines of code.. would be nice to just have it create an arc..
Question. How would you go from a block of steel to that finished shape with mastercam? I have the steel and the finished design but don't have the information in between
We are all wrong it is service and sometimes even services!! lol one of the best TH-cam MasterCAM lessons!!
Thank you. This was easy to follow and to the point. As for the comments on your accent... The maturity of the commenters matched their icons.
