Right in the middle of my own manpack build. Armoloq makes some good stuff.

Heck yeah! Great company too. They saw my video and sent me a new bracket for free!!!!

Glad to see another TH-camr using the TPA pack frames from ARMOLOQ. These work great when you run them in a bag. If you do, be careful as the FT-2908R runs hot compared to my other manpacks (FTM-6000R, FT-857D and FT-818ND). You may also want to consider a shorter coax (12") and something like RG-58 even if it is higher loss so that you have an easier time with the turn radius on the bottom. The frame is designed to protect the coax on the bottom. Nice work!

Thanks for watching and thanks for the info! I really like the ARMOLOQ frames I happy I purchased one. I will grab a 12" RG-58 as well, I thought the lmr400 ultraflex would be ok but it is a little long. Thanks again!

I just ordered mine this morning for the Yaesu FTM-200 and the relocation kits.

I love this product, I just wish it wasn't more expensive than the radio. P. S. I also wish they would turn The Flag to the correct position on their web site.

I looked at is as a investment to prolong the life of the radio in and out of a back pack is hard on the knobs in my experience. Thanks for watching!
