There’s not 1 thing I would change about this gorgeous home. It’s literally turn key, bring personal belongings and that’s it.
agreed. it looks amazing
💯
He needs to replace the locks with electronic ones. Every guest gets a unique code for when they arrive, and some little signs for rules and the wifi password. That's how most airbnbs work.
I think it would be great to keep some of the kids stuff incase some young family wants to stay there for awhile.
agreed. i don't have kids. never will (too old and broke now) but even i know how difficult it can be to go on vacation with kids. that would be perfect for a family. @@Old_Ladies
You should leave all the kids stuff because with an Airbnb that big a family will definitely rent it and that would be a plus to have things for the kiddos
True lol but u know the kids r gonna have there tablets or phones to lol
I agree.
Leave it all except what’s broke
💯 %
Don't get rid of the kid stuff and the crib....find a place to keep it but parents might like not having to lug a 'pack n play'! ( they are bulky) Need clean sheets tho.
I would keep all the extra decor and supplies for your other houses on the property.
And definitely keep the kids stuff. So many large families rent air bnbs. It can be stored in the walk-in closet.
i cringe everytime they throw away a lot of stuff.
@@ChrisWijtmans right! It could at least be donated.
Yup, or just replace any stuff that gets lost/damaged/stolen from the other units. Having a general store for things like linens, cutlery, plates etc makes it easier to restock, or for renters who've forgotten things. Having stores for basic hotel services should help with ratings and rentals.
Exactly. What's the point in having an admin building and a maintenance building with a bunch of storage space if you're not going to use it? And it's going to be someone's job to take care of the air bnbs on the property so why throw out potted plants and decorations?
are u single girl?
Keep the crib!!! When my son was younger it was really hard to find places to travel to that had a crib for him to sleep in. It's a great thing for a nice Air BnB to have.
We needed cribs for years. Usually play pens were available.
This!
That is a beautiful house! I would only throw away things that are broken. The more there is in an Airbnb the less you have to bring with you. Especially if it's a family. Put the crib in a closet in case someone needs it. Better to have and not need, especially when you already have it.
We stayed at an Air BNB in CO for spring break. We actually needed stuff for big meals and to make a birthday cake.
Exactly. It may not be the case for every set of guests you have, but inevitably, eventually you will have somebody who will use all the kitchen stuff. I was internally yelling at him for getting rid of so much. A well-stocked kitchen is a big plus point- very appealing.
Matt, I have stayed at a few AB&B. I am very inclined to cook for my family. Tools are important. More times than not I don’t have enough tools need to cook a meal. It’s SO much better to have the tools available to use and not need them. It doesn’t hurt me to not use them opposed to needing them and not having them. I would highly recommend keeping them!!
Agree 100%!
I agree, I have used 4 spatula’s already this morning making sourdough & focaccia, I’ll use more by lunchtime.
I thought a lot of the point of renting a airbnb is get a house á la kitchen so u can cook and dine at 'home'
As a guy with kids, finding an air bnb that is kid friendly and stuff for them to do is a big selling point. Less stuff for us to pack and bring when the house has everything.
It's difficult to set a rental towards kids when their interests change monthly. I doubt any kid over 10 is interested in any of the kid stuff there like the outdoor house or the kitchen set etc.
As a party man, I don't want to rent a Airbnb and find kids stuff, I want to rent it to have orgies in every part of the house.
This is a place doing boob festivals, it is not kid friendly.
I’m glad the comments are all about the kid stuff. I couldn’t even watch the whole video before coming here and being like “BRING IT ALL BACK” I would absolutely pick this over somewhere else seeing it having the crib and bunk beds and playroom etc
My company did the stone work(fireplace, interior archway, exterior wainscoting, flowerbeds) on your new to you house. We also did some masonry work on other houses that are within your resort.
Those are the features that caught my attention. My suggestion is all the buildings on the property should have this same look/feel for continuity, plus less cost for design work & supplies. If I were you guys, I'd put together a proposal to offer the same work on all other buildings for a look that would really pull the resort look together. Make him a deal and he might go for it.
That little flat knife-shaped spatula might be the most valuable kitchen tool I've ever owned. It's great for spreading everything. Like getting anything out of a jar, or putting jelly, peanut butter, mayonnaise, mustard, or Nutella on bread...it also will get the last bit of anything out of a jar. Seriously it's the kitchen tool people don't know they need. There is no such thing as too many kitchen tools.
I agree!
Yeah it's something I never knew I needed but when I got one..I got 2 more.
I have like 6. I use them for literally everything.
Do you not have a knife? haha
now you understand why men need so many tools even if they do the same thing a little different
Leave the utensils FGS...we never have enough utensils at Air B&B's! Save crib and kids playhouse! put the playhouse in a corner of the deck!
Agree!
Put the crib in the walk in closet. Someone might rent it that needs a crib. Already having one available so that they don't need to deal with bringing their own pack and play is superb! I would also keep the play kitchen and other toys so that the kids that stay there have something to play with. You will get great reviews for having such a wonderful play space for children. Maybe swap out some of the chairs in there for bean bags or a small couch that could be turned into a bed if needed or both.
Go buy a new crib !!! 🎉 That 1943 crib needs to go !
It looked like a nice crib. We all have different taste.
Seriously over thinking this
I love a kitchen stocked with extra utensils etc.,if you rent to large groups they will use all that for serving meals. I put extras in my pantry if there wasn't drawer space...or to restock when things broke
The way I cringed when you threw out the kids stuff.
As someone who travels with toddlers, I LOVE it when places have stuff like that.
When you buy your ranch resort, I'd recommend keeping the toys then.
Watching Matt go through the kitchen & trying to throw out all the kitchen utensils makes me laugh. Tell me you don’t cook without saying it! 😂😂😂
Exactly!
Put the crib in the giant closet. I loved it when airbnbs had a walk in closet for babies/toddler, had their own space but also still close.
@Matt - I suggest that you style the rest of the buildings on the ranch to match the look of this house, very cool and it would give the ranch a unifying appearance and feel overall!
I'd say give Mere & Jenna the keys and let them do their thing. Mere did a wonderful job with the 'House on the Hill'.
Literally what I said to myself 😂
@@fast97z24 He's what?
As an air b n b host, leave the kitchen over stocked, people cook way more often than I imagined when traveling lol
Listen to Jenna.
Keep more than you throw.
Really love this house!
You guys can donate so much of these things instead of throwing items around :(
The house is such a gem! Way to SCORE!!! You should keep all of the kids toys so the kids will have something to play with!
I agree high it someone in that home
That is a great place. I think it would be a great place to have a family reunion.
You should build that outdoor shop area into a cool bar for people to use for big events and parties! At the new ranch house lol.
The dinosaurs- "They've gotta be real, we're just dumb" 😂😂😂
I like that Jenna is both there because its fun but also because if the boys injure themselves she can record it for youtube and also call 911. She's the designated adult of Matt and the boys.
She certainly isn't hard to look at. Trying to be very respectful here.
Jenna's the chaos coordinator.
She’s the mom. “Don’t climb on the roof”
She's an ok addition to the channel. I still can't figure out how to take her exactly. At times it feels like she isn't comfortable with the camera, makes something feel off. I'm not trying to say or insinuate anything at all to be clear, just something I've noticed a couple times now.
As far as things like utensils go, get rid of the broken/burned stuff. Grab the ones you want to make them presentable, but put the rest away in drawers, or cupboards without cluttering them.
Also, sweet property for rental!
my dads going through chemotherapy today so everyone on Matts channel plese say a prayer for him. and dont worry he'll pull through. and hes doing fine. keep up the prayers for him. thats what he needs most.
Make sure you don’t get any “squatters” in there, otherwise you will have a bad time getting them out. Looks nice.
Bro, the long spatula is for getting into the bottom of a peanut butter or mayo jar. 😂 It *could* be used for frosting a cake too, but generally an offset metal spatula is the best tool for that. And i would definitely leave all the utensils!
Exactly!
Yeah, I was thinking jar scraper.
For PB and Mayo it's an ESSENTIAL. You can also use it to get the last bits out of squeeze ketchup.
Never get rid of a fridge that has run for 7 years. Cause the new one probably wont. Lol
Beer fridge for all the upcoming frat parties.
I have replaced our in house fridge 2 times in the 15 years since I bought my cabin. The fridge I bought 2 HOUSES BEFORE THESE is still alive in my basement full of drinks and stuff that doesn't fit in the new tiny fridge upstairs. Yeah it's like 22 years old and the one upstairs icemaker was leaking 5 years ago so I blocked it off. Then it started leaking from under the fridge so we figure time to replace. Yet our old fridge almost as old as our youngest kid is truckin away keeping beer, soda, milk and whatever else overflows into it cold.
@@Clem_Kadidlehopper I used to be an HVAC/R tech. Sad to say they are not made to last anymore. Replacement parts are hard to get and expensive. The newer refrigerants degrade with the tiniest amount of water introduced. Designed failure built into it from head to toe on most models.
Or the washer and dryer. The current house I’m living in. The stove is from 1994. My mom had the same stove. It is still working great.
I dont see the reason why you would get rid of all the kid stuff. People do vacation with children and those children do get bored. Leave all that stuff in there for them to play with. Especially when its hot out in the summer, that gives the kids something to do inside in AC
Need some flowers on the front porch
He's not the brightest bulb in the pack.
I was thinking the same thing. Or you could set them up for the eclipse and let kids play.
@@fauxque5057 All it creates is an unnecessary thing to clean
Or at least keep it on site, stored away and you can bring it out when people book with kids
“When you come to the resort, you have to stress test everything!” *WhistlinDiesel gets the tingles and smiles as he loads up MonsterMaxx, the tank, and KillDozer II*
It's a plus to have extra things, especially in the kitchen. I can't tell you how often I would look for something I needed and the feeling of relief when you dont expect it to be there but it was there.
Stash the little kitchen if a family with kids show up. Would be cool surprise. Seems like family people would want to be there.
a family already run out of there... mega range right next to them, and a fest, not to mention what else[and who..] will follow for the [family oriented] ''resort''... I'm telling you they changed State already!
Awesome Air BnB house but highly recommend keeping the kiddos indoor and outdoor play areas! That way all of us who have kids can bring them and they have stuff to occupy when chillin at the house! Thx ☺️
#Maga 🙏🇺🇸🙏
For those going to the Booty Snapple fest, please be a good representative of the community and leave the place better than it was when you get there.
I am sure for the most part people will behave. But it is an unreasonable expectation, to expect everyone to behave properly.
What in the world is bootysnapple I missed 1 video
Glad to see someone chiming in to tell people how to act. 😂
💯
Its just a reminder.
Children’s plaything’s would be such an asset to families .I think you should bring those things back. That house is a great addition to the resort isn’t it ,and it really is a good house.
That house is perfect! I would leave some of the kids toys so family's with kids don't have to lug all that stuff with them. My kids are older and have there own family's, I would love to rent the house and surprise my daughters and 3 grandchildren. We all have two weeks off from work in July and that would be a perfect vacation. Look forward to getting the details!! Great job Matt and crew. Thanks for all the laughs 😂
I wish I had known you were throwing stuff away I would have come and got it for families that needed it.
Best comment on here! I am afraid Matt is too "new rich".
Agree 100%.
So wasteful
Couldn't agree more. It's getting hard to watch.
Y'all could just message him and say 'tell me when you have a dump day'. Coming from someone who has moved and waiting for so long for folks to claim stuff... bc of course never want to waste... sometimes, it just has to go you can't keep everything. Aside from what you can donate. I also think, maybe too assuming, that when he says "get ride of" or "throw away" he means donating.
I will say, Matt - think about your future needs of other rentals and main resort stuff, might need to keep till not.
Keep the kitchen as fully kitted as possible. People love that.
When people ask if you have a crib for the AirBNB (or one of the other rentals) you could move it from the "office" to the appropriate rental. I know a family with a small baby or child would really appreciate having a crib for their little one!
Seeing that nice finished ranch house on the property was awesome. I would have kept the crib and some of the kids stuff, though. The crib looked really nice, and you never know who might rent the Air BnB. It IS gonna be great. It was nice seeing a big smile on your face. Congrats!
Get a Matterport scan!! With a 3D/Virtual tour customers can virtually walk through the property and when you link it to your booking engine they make reservations on the spot.
That's a beautiful house
I've watched and subscribed to this channel since it was first created many years ago. Clint, Jenna, Mikey, and David have to be the best additions to this channel!
Don’t change anything a family might want to rent it out and you can always put the crib in the toy room and someone with a baby would love that
I wouldn't change a thing there. Perfectly homely feeling house to air bnb
Gusts might not use that big closet. But you could just keep things for the Bnb in there. Like xtra sheets, towels ect
Keep it all, as is... will be easy to rent out...
DONT CHANGE ANYTHING. Perfect for families!
An Enviro Shade would work on the deck, a retractable awning for shade but goes away during wind storms.
Thats what I was thinking
There's never enough utensils when we use VRBO..
The people who lived there had really nice taste, it's really nice (also bet it wasn't cheap).
Very nice house!!
Matt and Jen are 100 percent a couple
I would definitely sleep in that playhouse. And I’m 100% serious
Same! I've slept in weirder places when I was homeless
@@imdonewithyallsame here. And deployed.
Same. I usually sleep on the floor cause my dog takes my bed so I'll feel right at home.
Just inventory everything and keep the extra stuff for replacements.
My thoughts exactly
mikey is a genius. he makes me laugh all the time... his peek on the window is priceless lol
We love Mikey.
Some people will rent more 1 night use possibly for family reunion stuff, ect. I know we have done that before places.
Awesome addition to the resort. Well worth the purchase. Best of both worlds you still get the resort, but are more secluded if you’re there for an anniversary or something special.
Awesome!
that house is soo nice. there literally nothing to change maybe a few small things here and there but other than that its ready for people.
It's good to see Clint again. We don't get enough of him these days.
Snapple's lawyer's typing fingers are just melting right now on a 6000 page cease and decist letter. 😂
Or Snapple is seeing an uptick in purchases and Matt just had three semi truckloads of snapple delivered to the ranch to sell. Im sure they ok with free advertising.
Lol! 😂
I wrote a comment on the previous video and said that the Snapple Drink company should sponsor this event.
@kd5inm I'm sure Snapple is just dying to sponser an event called "Booty Snapple." 🤣🤦🏽♂️
I was wondering about that too. It MIGHT be that this is different enough that the Snapple beverage people don't care but I wouldn't want to bet on that. Of course by the time the lawyers get their "cease and desist" paperwork done "Bootysnappelfest" will be over and it will be academic.
I used to practice trademark law, and the law actually requires companies to prevent others from using their trademark. You can lose your trademark if you let others use it without permission.
Love the house ! Keep it family friendly.
Lots of board games, yard games, etc. In an Air BnB are always nice.
You must have made them an offer they couldn't refuse to just leave their home with everything in it... 🐴
yeah! The down payments for the fest for sure!
Haha, yeah the Bootysnapple/ firefest that's not happening.
It was only 325k.
With all the blasting going on across the way I bet they couldn’t wait to leave. I bet they were expecting peace and quiet them the circus came to town. 😂
Matt: "Hi, I see you have a nice house here, do you want to sell"?
Them: No we love it here.
Matt: How do you like .50 cal gunfire and full auto weapons 12 hours a day just over there"?
Them: How much can you offer us?
Just leave it as is, it's genuinely beautiful
Make it a screened in porch 🤔 for those buggy nights
This!!!
And a retractable awning to cover (or not cover) the whole space.
Yay! I love seeing Clint in your videos.
My dad and I are coming to Texas from Montana to see the eclipse. We're hoping to meet you.
That's a GREAT house. Don't change anything about it.
@9:55 when asking a hoarder what they need and don’t need.
She’s freaking out! lol
You obviously don’t cook from scratch, saying that’s like asking if you need that many tools in the shed which is always my argument to my hubby. You can’t ride 3 motorbikes with 1 ass but you can cook multiple dishes at once. 😂
That's a nice looking house, and the furniture they had looks good too
The big square gravel spot out back , buy some corn hole boards for it. Something to keep folks busy.
Awesome!
The miniature house looks like it's sitting on what was supposed to be a sport court that they never finished. You could finish it and make a pickleball court!
I used to own that exact couch...when we were at the furniture store the sales guy told us they called it grandma's hug because falling into it was like falling into grandma's arms 😂
I just commented that I have that actual couch. It's so amazing for naps
Clint and Jenna, you are wonderful and give me hope.
You're going to want to keep spares of Utensils on hand, I grew up around self catering and if theres a way for them to go missing or get messed up it's going to happen, keeping spares means you can quickly keep your kitchen at full compliment each turnover.
Put a sunsetter awning on the back porch. That way it can be covered when needed, or have the option to lay out in the sun.
I feel like everyone should have a Mikey in their life :)
Cheers from Norway :)
Great addition to the resort!
I'd keep all the kid stuff, as I bet a lot of families will want to stay there. Having the kids stuff would be very nice.
Make the house your GM’s house. Always have Management on site. It would also be a way to off set their salary. 20,000 worth of housing plus what ever monetary compensation you decide on
Matt, that place is beautiful. Congrats on getting it. I didnt see much that needed to be changed. Also I saw you on inside edition last night. They did a segment about animals and there was a video of you and a little Chihuahua that walked like a kangaroo because its front paws were broken really bad and you did surgery on it. You was really young in the video so must of been in the early vet ranch days. Also you should donate that crib and any furniture you don't want. I am sure someone in your community could use the stuff. maybe donate to goodwill or a thrift store. Save the landfills. Just a thought.
It's beautiful! Wouldn't change a thing!
Matt, why get rid of all kinds of functional stuff like the kitchen utensils or outdoor fridge? Also keep the kids stuff, its a family house, so families will be the ones renting it. Its already perfect, quit worrying about that house. Its good to go.
I agree leave the toys kids would love it.
I have the same fridge you can knock on the glass and it will light up in side
I think you should leave some of the kids stuff and crib available. A family would appreciate having it there. More likely to have families come stay.
I agree kids stuff should be kept and looks like that’s all good stuff I hope you’re not throwing it away
The person in the Window behind matt 😆
Mikey is the greatest
Hiking trail to the main resort. Gotta make it winding and not a straight shot though.
Sweet, the house comes already furnished with weird people. 😅🤣😂😆😅😅
It's so funny to look at this house and then look back to your and Mere's first home together. You two would have loved to have this house and yard back then. You've come a long way Matt!
This house is MILES ahead of everything else. Looks great❤❤
Cool property! That pellet grill looked pretty sweet!
“If you don’t know how to tie a knot, tie a lot!”🤣
Mikey is a national treasure hahaha
I can speak from personal experiences when we have went on vacation the last few years with new borns the crib and kids stuff is a plus. The last air bnb we had our son was only probably 5-6 months old and it had a crib and was a life saver along with a few newborn/ child amenities that it did have. I would change the kids room and make them neutral but leave the crib in the masters and the play house in the back at the minimum
Hi Matt 😊 we're big fans from Phoenix Az. Love the ranch especially the house. I say leave the house the way it is inside. It looks very homey and cozy 😍!! God bless you and your family 😇❤️😻🐱🐈🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾
