1. Turn ON the delay effect (Freeze Simulation) with the CTL pedal;
2. Fully close the expression pedal and play a chord;
3. Slowly turn up the volume by opening the expression pedal and turning the CTL OFF.
The chord will be frozen and you can improvise at will.
Repeat the operation to change the chord.

Man. I love this. One of the very reasons I bough this pedal. I love it. I was not happy with my rp360xp...It was great but I didn't care I guess for the presets and it just didnt grab me. Something about this Gt1 has more noticeable effects and colouring if you will. Which is not a thing most I suppose like but I'm still learning. Hahah.

I love my move from GT100 to the GT-1!
I miss the stomp board setting on the GT100 But man the weight off your back literally haha.
I do miss the fact that if your foot pedal is all the way down / back on heel, and you swap patches - the foot pedal position doesn't revert to the patch saved, but to the actual pedal position.
The control expansion also with the fs-6 or fs-7 doesn't allow you to use the external control pedals as the dedicated looper to free up the three built in light up pedals but if you don't need the looper then it gets it pretty close with 5 pedals when expanded
Those are my two issues with it from the GT100
But man my gigs are so much faster to setup and easy with the GT-1 Into an RC500
This patch is AMAZING for practicing modes! Thank you so much! I have one operational question: if I make a mistake (either 1. with the chord or 2. with forgetting to remove CTL1's delay when soloing) and I want to clear it and start over, the only solution I understand at the moment is to quickly change presets and then return to start over...That makes the sound rather choppy as you can imagine - is there some other way to clear a mistake more smoothly/seamlessly please? Thank you again, I am loving this patch!

I've been using the Gt1 alot man and still need to figure this freeze patch out. Hahahaha.
:D Freeze simulation using delay. The only GT that has the freeze effect is the new GT1000. Me25 and Me80 have the freeze effect.

this is really great - just wondering if there is a way to cut the first chord played by the delay before playing the second one, it seems you are overdubbing on the first chord.

Yes. It's normal. You can increase the delay time for freezed chord for a long time.

Olá Hiury, em teoria seria Combo Amp no input ou Combo Return se plugar no return do eff loop do seu amp mas teste todas pois na combinação guit/pedaleira/amp a opção menos provável pode ser a que soe melhor. Por isso teste até Line/Phones e deixa o ouvido escolher.

Hi bro... The preset I share in this video is the Freeze effect simulation. I play until 1:54. From there I share the settings used in the GT-1. The background music is not mine. Hi Luca! Since the launch of the Gt1, Boss has reported that it uses the same processor as the Gt100. The idea is for it to be a mini Gt100. It's great multi-effects. Differences: We don't have mic simulations on Gt1, we don't have send/return connections, we can't use two stereo channels with one amp simulator on each channel, the harmonist only has one extra voice and not two extra voices like on Gt100... that's it that's what I remember at this moment. But it is an excellent multi-effects, USB interface with many good qualities. Thanks bro!

I know this modeler is a few years old, do you have any newer viable alternative to get closer to his sound? (referring to Pulse and Gilmour's 90s period), I had thought of Hotone Ampero but like others it doesn't allow double amp simulation.
Man... I love the Gt100, it's part of my story, it's personal haha :) And the multi-effects of the new generation that are IR loader, I have and I really like the Nux Mg30 and the little Mg300. Currently, Mg30 is the one I use the most for all my personal studio work. Sometimes I just use the Mg30, other times I mix it with analog pedals. There are two processors working together in Mg30, we can install external IRs, it has send/return connection and many other features.

How well will this sound through front of my Vox vt20x if I turn to manual mode with no effects or would I be better off with a boss katana 50? I know the 100 has loop but I need the processor for more functions and tones and can use onboard for others ...

There are 44 videos using the GT-1 connected directly to the computer using a USB 2.0 cable and headphones directly on the GT1. Infelizmente não Cláudio! A calda do efeito na G3 é cortado quando desligamos o delay. A gente precisa desligar o delay e ele continuar soando entende? Isso não é possível na G3.

Hi... Turn on the Delay, play a chord and turn off the delay. The chord will be sounding while you improvise. See the step by step in the video. Thanks bro!
The delay is made to last forever, if you watch his tutorial, he turn on delay, sets volume to 0 using volume pedal, plays a chord, then slowly increase volume, then turn off delay and start playing.

Olá! A GT1 não tem o efeito Freeze, como temos nas ME25, ME80, etc... então eu fiz usando o delay para "congelar" o acorde assim como fiz na GT-100 e outras pedaleiras. Você precisa seguir o passo a passo:
1. Ative o efeito de delay (Freeze Simulation) com o pedal CTL;
2. Feche totalmente o pedal de expressão e toque um acorde;
3. Aumente lentamente o volume abrindo o pedal de expressão e desligando o CTL.
O acorde ficará congelado e você poderá improvisar à vontade.
Repita a operação para alterar o acorde.

I am not that experienced with the GT8 yet so don’t know if his setting can be modified for a continuous ‘hold’ like you achieved. I’ll leave him a message and see if he picks up on it like you did! No. I don't know why Boss does not put the freeze function in the GT's.
@@DirectRecordingGuitarThere is a HOLD function in the Tera Delay of my GT-1 B (a GT-1 for bass). As the units are very similar I think there must be a HOLD in the GT-1.

In fact, there is no Freeze effect on the Gt-1. I simulated using the delay.

Pô... vc que é o cara... saca só:
Eu gostaria de fazer o seguinte na BOSS GT-1...
- Ao acionar o CTL 1, fazer com que o LEVEL do efeito do FX1 ou FX2 (chorus, delay, ou qualquer outro), vá aumentando GRADATIVAMENTE de forma linear. E não de imediato!
Por exemplo, tocando normalmente com o level do efeito em 20, e quando piso no CTL1 esse parâmetro vai aumentando aos poucos até chegar no 80...
Sacou?
Eu sei que tem como fazer isso usando as funções assigns, no INT PDL, mas ainda não consegui. Ele só "aumenta"", e quando piso novamente, ao invés de ele retornar pro valor que tava, ele permanece no máximo setado.
Fica a missão.
