Well Skatie, I’ve been looking for anyone who remembers this skate move for years and I was thrilled to find your channel!!! I learned to skate in the late 70’s/early 80’s and we called this the “3-step” as it was created as an advance on the roller skate “2-step”. I lived in south Arkansas in the US and I think the guy that taught me picked it up in either Dallas, Texas or Shreveport, Louisiana. Only a handful of us in the area knew how to do it, so I’m thrilled to see it also came about across the pond! I’m now 55 and I haven’t had my skates on since about 2019, which was the last time I danced this one. You have me wanting to dust off my Reidell’s and get moving. Quick note: I’m glad to see you putting safety first. I’ve had 2 back surgeries and now have cervicogenic headaches (similar to migraines but caused by spinal injuries). Injuries never slowed me down when I was younger, but they started catching up with me about 12 years ago. Stay safe and keep on rolling!❤
Oh wow! That’s an amazing story thank you for sharing. Glad it finally has a name! Skating is great fun but as you say can take its tole. Great to have skaters coming back to the sport. 💕😎🤩
Hi Skatie! I have been watching your videos for a while now and I just want to say that they are awesome! I’ve truly improved a lot with your clear instructions. I’m at a point now where I’m easily transitioning but definitely need more footwork and I just now this will help. Thank you so much for taking the time to put together these amazing videos!
Hi:) I just got my first roller skates (roller derby skates) and I am wondering if they are good for beginners i feel like it’s too slippery I have gotten a little better but I still lose balance a lot :(

Love this!
Will be practicing this for sure. You got anything for couples that would be easy to intermediate?
Well done.
I guess you could use it in conjunction with the Downtown and call it the Suburb?
Awww yeah! Love it! 🤩🤩🤩😎
