I am from Coimbatore now living in US. I will be 78 on July 21, and TN tiffin items are only in my memory. My daughters insisted me and my wife living with them here and also in Canada. Kothuu porotta, paniyaram (paddu) medhu vadai and that tea🔥 is what you want to try first. Porotta, Idly(their sambar), pongal, Tomato rice are all top notch. Dosa items are Okay. Overall a Best place for veg in TN style. Not to mention the Server one man very responsive. 😎

By the way I was in Coimbatore yesterday and day before yesterday and we had a scrumptious breakfast, lunch and dinner at Annapoorna, Aanandhas and RHR. Really loved the breakfast items in Coimbatore like sambar idli Vada, Pongal, ghee masala roast, appam. You channel helped me in choosing the right restaurants in Coimbatore. I have watched so many food videos if southern cities, realising food is so cheap in good quality clean neat well served restaurants there, not to mention banana leafs as added bonus. Food in North India is not only expensive but with a take it or leave it attitude. My conclusion is if Dravidian people can run India it will be well managed and soon a developed country. Since my birth I have eaten Quality Tamilnadu style food in bangalore, there are more than 300 good and quality Tamilnadu style hotels in bangalore. Sir, I humbly request you stop misleading people that good Tamilnadu food is very rare in bangalore. If a IT professional from Tamilnadu say that he goes to TN every weekend to eat TN style food. then he is the biggest lier on this earth. there are many apps which will help you to locate all the Quality TN style food joints in Bangalore. So pleae I request you stop giving wrong information. I enjoy and appreciate your videos, your hardwork and your sincere reaction to the taste and the priceing of the food. But please don't insult Bangalore by saying that Quality TN style food is rare in Bangalore.
Sir, we never insulted our beloved Bengaluru. This is a city I like from my childhood days mainly because of great food, weather and cosmopolitan culture. There may be 300 TN style restaurants in Bengaluru, but who serves quality food is the question. I made that remark particularly based on my conversation with my friends who stay and work in Bengaluru. Bengaluru is a host of all foods and cultures of India and I never intended to hurt anyone's feelings. I wanted to inform to my viewers that such TN style eateries exist in Bengaluru that serve good TN style food. In fact, when I come to Bengaluru, I prefer only Karnataka style food, which our whole family likes. Hope you take our comments in right spirit 😃🙏. @@banana_leaf_unlimited I don't comment unnecessarily, I watch your videos, I like them and enjoy your presentation and your sincere effort to explain the details of the restaurant, food, cost, service etc.. my comment today was because in my 61 years of life in bangalore i know there are hundred plus eateries in Bangalore which serves quality TN style food. It was funny when you addressed to the IT professionals from TN who did not get Good TN style food were travelling all the way to TN for good TN style food. Sir any kid of today will tell you how to locate a Good eatry in Bangalore by using the Apps available on their phone. This comment was unnecessary. After watching your Murugan Cafe video many of my friends from TN called me and asked me, is it so bad that Bangalore has only one Good TN style eatry. This made me to write the above comment which I feel is hurting Bangalore. I'm sorry, if you have not eaten Good TN style food in Bangalore. May be a little bit of exploring will lead you to quality TN style eateries in Bangalore. வாழ்க வளமுடன்.
