So anytime a name becomes available that worked for Vince, Khan will sign em. He's already an on air character as the Booker, and they keep running through feud after feud. It's true that WWE is garbage right now, but it's fixable. They have NXT, so there's always a wealth of young talent that could come up if Vince decided to make cuts and get rid of guys like R-Truth or other job guys that take up too much TV time. Most people don’t know the big show played basketball before he became a wrestling star. He was a star in high school and played 91-92 in Wichita state in Kansas in college.
If AEW wants to get competitive with McMahon 's universe they might need someone with star power like The Rock, Cena, or Batista, someone that non wrestling fans know...
One way to use Paul Wight (whose name I know specifically because the WWF initially called him that on his first few appearances) is a variation on the Owen Hart/Yokozuna tag team. Find some obnoxious heel to team with him but Wight just stands on the apron the whole match until his partner makes the tag and then chokeslam, pin. The gimmick is that Wight is the finisher and if the heel makes the tag then the babyfaces are doomed. So they win the tag belts and the angle is "how are the faces going to get the titles off this annoying guy if he can keep hiding behind this giant?" Or alternatively it could be a face team where Wight's partner is some guy who can take Ricky Morton style beatings until he gets the hot tag to Wight. The idea here is to be able to have Wight wrestle regularly but in a way that he can handle the workload. The problem with these ideas is that they could work for old school mark crowds but an audience that is there specifically to see ***** matches won't get it from this. It doesn't seem to fit the AEW audience but would have been perfect for Corgan's NWA.
Paul WIght now to be known as Small Time. Going to rejoin and reform Jeri-Show tag team. Renamed as Big n' Small with Jericho as Big and Paul as Small.

Nah do the Rey Mysterio thing. Strap Marko to a back board and have Show swing him at the ring post like a baseball bat. The only difference is flip him around so it's Marko that hits the post rather than the back board. I mean why risk damaging a perfectly good back board.
If Tully and Arn arent training them what makes you think Show will? And in order to be trained they would have to be willing to learn and from what i hear they think they are fine and ignore what the vets say.
Not to correct Cornette but Hogan left to try Hollywood full time and when WCW came around about a year later, they made him an offer enticing enough to go back to wrestling.
A lot of people make fun of AEW signing Big Show but they really do need him to teach the guys, especially Lance Archer, Brian Cage, Luchasaurus, etc to act like big guys.

I don’t know. Big Show has commented in the past that he wanted to be more athletic. He didn’t just want to be the slow plodding monster. The big guys in AEW may be doing closer to what Big Show wishes he could have done.
Big Show in his prime was doing dropkicks and somersaults but later slowed down due to age and his height/weitht, none of those guys are around the size frame in which their joints would give up.

It's true that WWE is garbage right now, but it's fixable. They have NXT, so there's always a wealth of young talent that could come up if Vince decided to make cuts and get rid of guys like R-Truth or other job guys that take up too much TV time.

It's like Tony Khan says well Vince doesn't want them, I want a new toy.
Paul WIght now to be known as Small Time. Going to rejoin and reform Jeri-Show tag team. Renamed as Big n' Small with Jericho as Big and Paul as Small.
