Thanks a million for the informative review. I bought the set because of you and I am in love. I can't believe noone else has done this arrow shape before, it is magical!
My last 6 w&n have been absolure garbage ill never buy another. It was very hard to get kolinsky brushes in the US for a bit and the only brush i could find was rosemary and co. What a happy accident. The last 5 #2 have all been perfect. The one i use most often even for stippling has been going for a year. I just pulled a stray bristle yesterday for the first time in months. I cant wait to try the kimera brushes though because i love slanted brushes and i think the arrow tip will lend itself well to my painting. Thanks for this video. Down with w&n 😂
I am preparing an order right now to buy the kickstarter color sets finally available in the online store and I will add one lingua di gatto brush too.. 1st thought: they are costly - a notch over W&N series 7 just under the 30 euros mark and I am sure in china u may buy 300 brushes for that price ;) But Kimera is a boutique company after all and the quality and presentation of their products is great: you want luxury and u pay luxury. Then I I could have gotten these at Monte San Savino but god I was too drunk ;)
@@MiniaturesDen Thank you for sharing, it got my interest and I started looking for them and where to buy them. Maybe you can recommend some stores for Roubloff inside the EU?
Man if that was for ANY other brush I would be cool will give it a go. BUT Because it’s Kimera and you are very bios about Kimera I really don’t trust that video. Even if Kimera product is trash you still will say it’s good. We all know that you are sponsored by Kimera and would never say anything bad about them
go troll somewhere else, he told you literally in the first minute the brushes are supplied to him by kimera. Are you a sheep or what, its his opinion.
You don't know me very well if you think this :) All the companies I work for, either through sponsoring or box art, are companies I enjoy the products of and trust most of my community would like as well. I've been offered money to work to sponsor products I didn't like and turned down the offer despite the fact that, as you might imagine, I could really use the money. I'm sure you'll see many other painters talk about these brushes soon and they'll share my opinion on them.

"I don't care about video length or the algorythm"
Makes exactly a 10 mins video
Well played lol
I love that when you tried to show the bristles don't spread that your first stroke the bristles do spread. But only the once.
Bought the set after watching this. Addresses various qualms I've had with every recommended brush I've used. Thanks for the video!

Have enough babushka brushes but will keep them in mind if I need new one thanks!
Super interesting explanation!
Thank you for the great review and demo on this lovely brush! ❤
Spot on regarding W&N quality control. Been debating on kimera brushes. Probably going to pull the trigger.
Very great guy!! Thanks, mate
I have several of these now. Awesome!
it´s magic!!!
Thanks for the preview and guide. We ordered two.
they're really good, enjoy them!
These are the only miniature brushes I've used that have held their tip, and actually improve my painting lol

The Roubloff brushes, which series are you using?
Also, the brush in this video, is it Arrow size 2 or 0 ?
Hello!
The Roubloff are 1110 and the brush in the video is a size 2

Since his last video, which is closer to the XVIth century than nowaday, he now almost never uses Kimera.
