Hey Inis, I've just stumbled across your videos in my beginning research for sustainable baby stuff for my first baby. I love how clear and informative you are and it has made this seem a lot less scary! I'm actually a midwife myself but come across this stuff so rarely that I feel like I know nothing about it!! 😅 Thank you for the easy, informative videos. X

My stretchy wrap was a life saver, pretty sure it’s the only way I ate for the first 4 months! Also I know a lot of people think it’s not worth buying newborn nappies but it definitely depends on you child because I used them up to about 6 months! I love vinted, my little one has recently gone into 12-18 and I got a bundle of 12 sleepsuits for £3 which means he’s all set for pjs! I didn’t bother with the white noise machine, I’ve always done naps in normal noise and light to help differentiate them from night sleep and then overnight I have a salt lamp on low because we bed share and I like to be able to see his face if I want to at any point in the night.
With regards to sleep, I just wanted to say for any new parents who aren’t aware, safe sleep recommendations are that all sleep, daytime and nighttime, happens in the same room as an adult to reduce the risk of SIDS

Totally agree on the newborn, my daughter was 4lbs at birth and even the newborn sizes started off too big for her but she fit them for several months. My son was 6lbs and he got good use out of nb sizes too even though he grew faster he was long and skinny and they worked better for him. They also sell or get handed down decently because they aren't too heavily worn like one sized one are
