Yes 🙏🙌 thank you for saying this. There IS some sort of Christian revival. I was an overnight, miraculous "convert" 10 years ago. I abandoned it early I felt unqualified because I had God but no history of being a Christian... Had a hard season last year and out of nowhere, I woke up with a conviction and the same call, that I could NOT physically mentally emotionally ignore. I am 30, NEVER raised in a church. Never a Christian before that night 10 years ago and, was extremely away once I felt unqualified and abandoned it, woke up one day last year "come back, we need the misfits you're part of the new thing". I was silent for months and then it felt like day after day I watched other 30 year olds or older, people from all over, having similar experiences unexplainably all over social media. At first I convinced myself I finally done lost my marbles.. until I realized that it's not just me

@@jvang2293 just because you can’t understand doesn’t mean it isn’t brilliant. In fact, calling names is the signature of an impoverishment of thought. Case in point: grifter means petty swindle, small scale theft. What has Russell stolen from you? He offers me enlightenment free of charge. So you are wrong on that count too.

When Russel was crazy and on the left he used to drive me nuts by how obviously intelligent he was and he would make me question all of my beliefs. Fortunately I always stayed conservative because of my relationship with my parents but he really forced me to learn and question more and become more secure in my beliefs. And it’s absolutely fascinating to watch his journey towards Christianity and conservativism.

There really is a market out here for that. I got into politics with Ron Paul and that movement. Let down after let down for the past 20 years. I really do think the answer to all this is not try to save anybody at this point. Not to fight the "powers that be" The answer is when Russell talks about smaller localized communities and government and local food. We need more content based on building these communities. I'm done trying to change anything it's time to build something new. Somewhere new.

Whether Dave or Russel sees this I still want to say this cause something really crazy happened to me too. I didn't choose Christianity. It fell into my lap. A series of events took place and I did things to get out of a situation or situations I was in and naturally the things I gravitated towards were things that Christianity teaches and low and behold at the end of 5 years of a kind of a journey I ended up in a church and the very first line the pastor said was something I learned myself through the process. It was a huge moment for me. I put no effort into it. God literally showed me back to becoming Christian. It's the most beautiful experience of my entire life thus far.

I was hugely sceptical of his "conversion" but listening to him now he certainly talks as a new believer. But he's still a long way to go (as we all do) on his path to redemption. I pray he finds the right path, as inevitably once you find real faith Satan rushes in to knock it out of you as fast as possible, so quite often new Christians walk off the path sometimes heavily, but Jesus said that those who the Father gave Him, he would never lose and He does pull you back to Him! Our God is an AWESOME God!!!

I have past friend that grew up with the guy who that quote is attributed to by Russel. I wished that friend had lived it. But then again, it is not about me.
That was the theme with Russel as I watch the interview with him and Viva Frei prior.
People can truly transform, but as it was and is apparent, you need to through struggle, and pain, and there maybe the need to hit rock bottom for some. God uses folks who are will to say, "help" and in that weakness they actually are then strong.
May the Lord God reveal the paths for His will in your life. In the name of Jesus Christ.🙏

This is good to to hear because I keep thinking about how much Russell Brand seemed to love Noah Herari ( spelling ? ) and the alluminati stuff I have seen .

I wondered at first if Russell's conversion was a sarcastic insult to Christianity because of his previous liberal views but he has slowly evolved and I believe after hearing this the humbleness and the openness he demonstrator in this interview I now know that he is a true believer and I am so glad to see this his conversion will influence many others and that is exactly what God needs

Dave really took me over the edge. I think it is wrong he paid surrogates to have his children, which I see as human trafficking, but he is in 'the space' of thought I agree with. I have to love these kids, as I do all humans, strange navigations

16:35 yes. As a recovering addict this is so true when you get on the other side. And before I get jumped on, I don't mean the other side of addiction. Yes we all know we're always addicts. But more the other side of the the other side of the life. The selfish life you used to live to the life where although not perfect, you know you're striving for the most high and in that knowing you are happy with the person you are today and that the only way you became the person you are today is by being the person you were yesterday. By going through every single trial and tribulation that brought you to the point you are.

I really enjoyed this, thank you. I recall feeling deep compassion for bitter timing of the hit piece on the Brand family coinciding with the arrival of their baby. What an ugly contradiction it was at the time to call for shaking ones finger at them. It was one of endless examples of wondering if anything is sacred any more.

Russell Brand is one of the most insightful, self-aware people I've ever seen. When he uses that skill to investigate the most fundamental aspects of living as a Christian, he really makes me realize how lackluster and false my own Christianity is....

Well Mr. Rubin, you have a wonderful gift in speaking to others. It was obvious you were excited by Russell's choice to become a Christian.
Russell is beginning to comprehend that God, our Father, is completely in control of all creation.
Your personal choice in relation to his choice, by asking the exactly appropriate questions.
I, personally, am very pleased that you men are here to speak against corruption of others' spirits.
God Bless to you, your family, and please pass on my good wishes and prayers to Russell and his.
    Thank you.

Russell Brand... Remarkable how a very bright man who was always open and honest manages to be even more frank and even more truthful. It was always interesting to hear him speak before. Now he's a refreshing breath of fresh air and he reflects Christ's humility.

I really am proud to be able to witness Russell's awakening to Christ 🙏 He is living proof that God's love & forgiveness is unconditional. Don't wait til you're living right bc you feel you aren't deserving. You are deserving! If you let go of your flesh & let God lead, you will know an undescribable peace even in the worst circumstances. Thank you Russell ! And Thank you Jesus for healing Russell & turning his life to live for you & lead others to you🙏🙏
