    Thanks a lot for posting and doing this! Picking up this truck in a few days to replace my 2021 Tacoma TRD Off Road.
    I’ve been shopping this market recently and it’s the only good and capable truck that’s not outrageously priced and with a decent lease (relatively speaking).
    Never owned a Nissan before but this truck was much nicer in person both inside and out than we expected. The cabin and seats feels great. Lots of amenities, features and tech. Looking forward to it.
    Will be using it for getting the dirt bike to the motocross track, mountain bikes, snow, spring tore up roads, and the occasional trip to the ORV park but less hardcore than what you were just doing.
    I do wish the stance was a little higher but the good trade off is that it’ll be easier to reach in to the bed and easier to get my dirt bike loaded.

    I agree with many regarding this vehicle. For the money its the "cheapest" well equipped midsize. Its capable and does what a midsize pickup is suppose to do. 2 to 3 inch lift, larger AT tires would do wonders.

    It's the cheapest of the new off-road trucks because it doesn't come with a lift. Aftermarket lifts are cheaper anyway.

      @@BrosFOURRSpeedcan’t go wrong with a Tacoma, my brother bought a 2021 Taco TRD off road. Bulletproof. It’s a personal thing I find the PRO4X rides smoother on road. But I think it’s the Bilstiens. The Frontier SV is a bit jittery on road too.

  • @toddmayta7615
    @toddmayta7615 ปีที่แล้ว +10

    With a 2 or 3" lift I think it would be better than the Colorado trail boss or z71 and almost as good as a taco off road. The frontier has a locking rear which is so much better than the g80 in the colorado. It also has ABLS (active brake limited slip) which is like toyota's ATRAC that kinda simulates a front locker. On the 4runner you have to push a button for it. On the frontier, it comes on automatically in 4wd and more aggressively in 4lo. Frontier also has a fully boxed frame and a beefy DANA44 rear end.

    • @BrosFOURRSpeed
      @BrosFOURRSpeed  ปีที่แล้ว

    The Nissan Pro4X is cheaper than the Chevy and especially the Toyota. Let us know where we can get a TRD Pro for the same price as the Nissan and I'll go there to buy one. Also the Nissan has hydraulic power steering and the big benefit of that is you have more feedback(feel) than with eletronic systems. “Why make off road review for a truck with off road features?”
      Lol, ok man. And even outside of general off-roading, for those of us with rough land to traverse and maintain the ability to prevent getting bogged down anywhere is a massive plus. If you’re just a pavement queen, go watch another review lol.

    Steep? Come out to Moab and see steep! Camera shot of front right tire is not from the front camera but from the side camera on the bottom of the outside mirror. And we get your point two more inches; however, even though that course is not much worse than some driveways I have seen; NOT every one needs that extra two inches. If they do, plenty of lift kits available, easy to install and not that expensive.
    Therefore, instead of charging everyone an extra 1000 for two inches, only those who need it need purchase.
    Nice video, too much whining.

      Of course the desert and those areas are very mountainous. This is our offroad park and it’s great. All we were saying is for a top trim off-roader, it should be equipped better for the price..
