A look inside GWAR's retired VADER 4x12 cabinets

Maybe you know my alter ego, maybe you don't... I also play guitar in the band GWAR as PUSTULUS MAXIMUS and we need to unload some equipment and props to make some room in our shop.
We used these in our U.S. backline from about the end of 2009 up until 2020 or 2021. They've put their time in but it's time to go.

Sweet! I have a newer Vader 2x12 cab with the V12 Legends, no complaints at all. It's super tight sounding and built like a tank!

Actually it matters which direction they move, because if they move backwards the dust caps may deform and the coils hit the bottom of the speaker.

AC audio waves are positive and negative. The speaker coil must move both forwards and backwards to make sound. The coil moves extremely fast. It goes outwards during positive cycles and inwards during negative cycles.
