Well done Medicosis 👏 I watch your videos with great attention and you truly make it digestible for us to understand such complex mechanism of gastrointestinal motility and secretion. I'd like to add that you help me also to connect the dots on some daily intresting thoughts. For example, when consuming caffeine, i notice that it increases gut motility even on an empty stomach, so as it turns out, caffeine increases gastrin secretion which as you mentioned influences the small intestin to boost its peristaltic movement. Thank you, sir 😊
Hello, I was diagnosed with several motility disorders due to a small bowel manometry (twice) and I had all the other motility tests (Hinton test, stomach etc.). My official diagnose is "enteric neuropathy", severe motility disorder in the small Intestine/bowel and delayed stomach emptying and slow transit constipation in the colon. Do you have more information or some Tipps where I can educate myself to learn everything about it. For example what does it mean when I don’t have Phase 3 activity? Thank you very much for your valuable time and help
I want to ask you something imp, like how you can remember all this information Ma Sha Allah but is it normal for me to forget some of the basics after awhile? 🥲
