Ink and Fire on ceramic tile!

- This was much more fun than I thought it'd be. We are taking isopropyl alcohol and alcohol inks and lighting them on FIRE! This is done on white ceramic tiles that you can get at home depot for cents. Who knew alcohol ink and fire was so fun! :D

I found a metal pan (looks like a giant cookie sheet) that's 18" X 26" for only $10 at a restaurant supply store. Protects surfaces really well, even when burning your art. Will not catch on fire!

Thank you :D...The best thing about the tiles is that they are so inexpensive! Yupo can be expensive, and I was happy to find something that didnt break the bank.

Talk about great timing! I just got back from Home Depot where I bought some 4x4 white tiles.My intention is to use my inks. And there I had a notification from you Will , clicked on the video to see you doing ink tiles! Thank you, I needed this. Hope mine turn out as nice as yours did.And Nix is adorable! Thanks for watching! I wasnt an artist when I started watching Annemarie Ridderhoff (sp) but she made it look so easy that I had to try it too. So who knows, you might be just a couple videos away from having a youtube channel yourself!!

Fire seems to set the color......define the pigments and dictates the boundaries! Beautiful all 4!

Oh yeah don't forget the fun......Like a moth to the flame, I set all my inks on fire! Gots the 'mallows at the ready too.....LOL!

I have not tried inks yet but it looks like fun! Just got my torch for the acrylic pours
Oh man they are pretty fun! I also really like my torch. It seems like it gives you a whole other level of control of where you want your cells to appear at.

I made myself some inks last weekend since m still waiting my ink to be delivered and I couldn’t resist myself and I wanted to torch it but I wasn’t very sure, but I m definitely gonna try next time😀 great video again 👍🏻

Ok, pyro. Next time use a cookie sheet or foil on table. (Being a quimby I'm not allowed to play with fire or sharp objects.) Those ink fire pics turned out pretty nice. Yo puppy is sweet. Good on ya.❤ stay warm.

Well, you coulda used wax paper. :o} A jelly roll pan (like a cookie sheet with a short lip) would be ever better.

what will you seal them with so my pigeon cup don't stick?
I think they need to be sealed with resin... im not sure if there is a high heat clear varnish. I'd have to look again.
