All State Ag Parts out of Black Creek, Wi has a ton of used Oliver parts including your Fiat Oliver’s. They have been there 40+ years and have accumulated that much.
Thanks for the video, I had trouble with my jd A sometimes would fire right up and next would fire a couple of times and that’s it found out the rotor in the magneto was dirty and a bugs nest in the bottom I cleaned it up and starts right up now.
Nice video Ross. Anytime you can get a tractor running is a good day. Those tire prices now are getting out of control. Cows are all looking good. Thanks for sharing.
I always wanted to buy a two lunger John Deere and get it on a nice little idle and put it outside my bedroom window and listen to it putt and go to sleep lol
Spent the day at my son in law’s using his 20 T press to get the lift arm pins out of the pto cover, the top link spring pin out and some of the pins out of the seat assembly. Happy to say that I got all of them out took most of the afternoon and a lot of heat. Old press was straining.😅 gonna order new pins and wait on them from Canada, ehhh. 😊
Ha a chainsaw tool yes I’ve been there it really made me smile. Cattle prices are outrageous sell them all. Ha nope but they are crazy. Thanks for the memories and sharing have a blessed day of no sadness
Excellent my friend with the grill find for Freddie, won’t be long you’ll have him complete. I’m plugging away with the 1365, got the draft control shaft welded up and a new slot broached into both sections. Once the control is back together I’ll email you more pics. 😊😊
Ross the parts for the bottom of the front of Freddie's lower grill find some piece of steel like a cutout section steel 55 gallon drum. and as unaboutanium as the grill maybe you should entertain the idea of make a grill guard like the 8 and 9 n ford tractors have, your grill will be as secure as possible.
Ross, if there was ever 1 tractor I loved to hate it was a 1952 John Deere B model. I don’t have enough room to tell you the grief that machine caused my father and I. The dealer sure loved us when we were there to try to get parts to fix it. He never told us this.It wasn’t until 20 years later a farmer told me that there were compression releases on the bottom of the cylinders . Yours might have them too.
Not surprised on the price of those tires, ouch! I've bought three sets of tractor rears in the last six months, tire guy had all three the next day after ordering. He could not believe they had a set, three actually, of 14.9x38 field and road in Des Moines.
The top set on 2 pegs and bolted at the top and the clutch went out on my 1450 when we were pulling it under the shed and it ran In to the dump truck before it cood get stoped and broke the Coner of the top peas am going to try and have it welded back together
Can't make a much better buy than the "free" bus seat. You must've sweet talked the B Deere to get it popping. Sure don't sound like a 6 cylinder Oliver. Hope to see Freddy in full Fiat/Oliver uniform some day.
I've got several wico x mags that have busted off ears. They still run like a top lol. I'd bet that that cap will still work fine. On the other hand yours will probably be the one that makes me a liar 🤣🤣
putt-putt-wheeze, wheeze, putt-putt. They sound nice but unless one is willing to have to fiddle with them almost daily they are a pain. I am glad we sold the 1939 styled model A, and also our 1953 Allis Chalmers CA with a woods belly mower. They were just expendable when we needed money for medical bills. Your collection, when you buy the farm and are placed into the earth in a very expensive concrete box and an equally expensive casket, will go up for sale. Unless you get busy and get an heir or 3 who will fight over who gets what and a sale of everything will have to happen. That is the story of life, our treasures go away when we ride the big tractor in the sky.
This comment is in regards to your tetter to run backwards. . If you want it to run backwards put your tetter behind a MF 70 or 80 they have a power take off that can run backwards.
Aces video Ross
Thanks Matt!
Great video. Lots of good information shared here.
Ah parts hunting, one of my favorite past times.
It’s an adventure!

Yeah, I know it has to be in the mag now, because I went so thoroughly through that carburetor
@@rosstheoliverman I shouldn’t have said the rotor but the magnet on mine was rusty and gunked up.
Good to here Johnny popper run again, and Freddie is going to look real smart, good video Ross!!
Thanks Doug!
Thanks Ross another day another video keep them coming 👍🏻
Most of the time it's the condenser. When I farmed with 2 cylinders I kept a handful on hand.😅
Your new seat also has the right color
All of the cows look well fed to me and they look like they will feed me well!😋

Strange, my B would start every time. It was one of the few items I've had and should have kept.

Try see get cheap impact drill use on cars wonder if use small positions bits on them
Out smart the parts guy. Get one of your trusted friends to contact the guy with parts to get what you need.

Mr. Ross you have way to good a muffler on that Johnny popper! I remember them being
Much louder than that!!!

Every front door needs a back door
Has the red cow ever shot out a red calf?
Sounds like a good days hunting!
Ross, little Freddy's probably enjoying all the attention you're giving him 🤣🤣 thanks Michael
Went to the exhaust shop and had a straight pipe for my super 77 diesel the same length as muffler and that cost me $50

The Deer sounds really nice, it's one of thought machines that likes to irritate you!
Nice video Ross. I once plowed a grill peace under de soil en we found it 2 years later in rusty condition. but it was stil in tact.
I think that John deere want its own shed. It's stuck in there with all the Oliver's in there own shade of green.

I never fails, your tires will come in after you need the tractor.
When are you going to paint the other side of the fenders? (Tire side)
I found a point kit for that John Deere couldn't believe how much money they wanted
I certainly hope $8K for a pair of tires includes new tubes!😬😵💫
It's almost cheaper to buy another tractor after you wear the tires out.
Guess if I ever need side panel for 1465 i now who to contact
Chainsaw wreck dam raises your hand if you have ever used one for other things. I have many times 😅
You need a tube of gorilla glue with the red pliers . Put those broken pieces back where they belong 😂 . Great video Ross , see ya tomorrow
Seems to me that your looking for lugs in all the wrong places 😂

I’m not used to you having new stuff, you’re always making do with scraps of whatever. What’s going on here?
