When I was a young kid I had Final Fantasy 7. Despite being way more complex I got very far, and even defeated one of the secret bosses and got Cloud's ultimate weapon. I however could not defeat Septhiroth at the end of the game. A few others in my class played it but I got the the farthest out of everyone. My classmates regularly grilled me for information on how to get past certain challenges.
With the right stradegy Shiva can easily solo the entire fight. Against Seymour just guard against his Thunder and water magic and use that spell thaz protects against fire. The fire spell will rhe fill Shivas overfrive gauge. Is it full wait until before he uses fire again and that use Diamond dust. During tje Anima part cast that fire protection spell again. Anima is just attack and heal and the second Seymour part is thecaame as the first.
Shiva showing up just like "Sup, biatch?" is my favorite introduction to her character ever. FFX was the best for summons and display of their personalities.
It never occurred to me that when Seymour casts spells, there's an extra sound effect mixed underneath -- it's low-frequency and wobbly, making the spell sound more dark and chaotic. Very interesting!
Seymour only had 3 HP left when Lulu dealt the final blow. Three! I really wish she'd just attacked him with her doll, that would have done the trick and been heeeeelarious 😂

And Seymour, Seymour Flux, Yunalesca, Sin and Jecht were the difficult boss of the whole game (And don't forgot Omega_Arma that have like 2 millions HP i was tired so I thought Penance would be better but when I found out Penance was 15 millions HP i make my way over Omega Arma and tried suicide
Fun fact: Anima is technically a *FINAL AEON* she was created at Zanarkand; from a living person [Seymour's Guardian; his Mother]. Seymour rejected the Aeon until later however, moved the fayth and never used Anima as intended against Sin. This is probably why Anima is stronger than the main storyline Aeons.

You should try again I play this on Switch and beat him 2 weeks ago after 2 tries. And the damage I did was a bit less than this player does. Its not that hard but mistakes can be punished heavy. Also I didn't know that the ice summon could heal using Blizzarda on herself, that wouldv made it a bit more easier for me. And you can use steal with Rikku to stop Seymour helpers from healing.

I will never forget this fight or any fight with Seymour for that matter. You could make the initial part of this fight much easier if you learned Stone Breathe with Kimahri. If you went into the battle with your Overdrive you could immediately turn his two lackeys into stone.

I would be very surprised if I found out that the voice actors/actresses recorded their lines in the same room - they are so unbelievably detached from each other at times, they just had to be in separate rooms during their scenes.

WHAT!! That's not fair! When I fought Maester Seymour his guardians would always use auto-potion (healing 1000hp) whenever I hit them! I would fight for a solid 20 minutes and not make any progress!
I can understand because it’s the dude’s mommy! I only want Anima on my side! It’s heartbreaking to attack her! I hurts me if she is defeated , because she fades to hurt redness instead of blue.... It’s great entertainment, but I always tried to dismiss her before she gets defeated... Just the way Seymour does in this awesome boss battle! Thanks
Shiva keeps using heavenly stroke and anima uses pain until she got her rage gauge full, then used oblivion by sucking Shiva down, showed the wrath of her downside... Damn... final fantasy
You know, Brave Exvius has lvl 3 Anima, which basically summons the dimension that appears in Anima's overdrive filled with bound Animas, so, does that means that Anima is the common result of people turning themselves into Faiths,?
Took me 3 tries before I could beat Seymour. The trick is to get Yuna into overdrive as fast as possible then dismiss her til right before Seymour Summoms anima then use Yunas Aeons against anima.
When I fight seymour i dont bother using the command option, I start up with kimahri doing stone breath, wakka with attack reels, tidus with blitz ace then seymour proceed to summon anima.
Dont get why no one uses overdrives in battles, like you have them all boosted for a reason, like to just get beat when you could unload them all and be done the battle in like 10 seconds, doesnt make sense

It's not a final aeon his mom was used as a fayth to give the aeon. But a person that is a final aeon doesn't become a statue.

You can also use either Auron's "Threaten" or Kimahri's stone breath.

That's how it's done a lot of the time, actually. Seldom is it possible or practical to get the entire cast together in one place for recording.

Once you steal those potion they dont heal anymore

I use Shivas overdrive on all 3 Phases. Its really easy to build up in that fight.
It's more fun to extend the fight. No fun to defeat bosses with one blow I guess.
