That's not an acccurate comment and a spurious one.
Vieira is the same as Lampard in that both have been sacked from multiple manager roles now while having all the benefits of being a top player and promoted to top jobs way ahead of earning it. Neither cut it as a manager so what you're saying makes zero sense. Lampard was a care-taker manager bringing in an idol of Chelsea to see out a dead season.

And even if someone does miraculously want him….is he gonna get that sort of money somewhere else? 🤷🏻‍♂️ you could argue and say put him on loan, but then who’s gonna pay his wages? No one is giving him 325K a week! Another Ozil situation there (with Arsenal) , where he’s comfortable knowing full well he’s set for 4 more years.

While Cesc may emphasize the responsibility of players, it is crucial to acknowledge that they largely follow and adapt to the manager's tactical instructions, positional assignments, and formations. The tendency for players to focus on individual performance rather than cohesive teamwork has proven detrimental.
Establishing a consistent rhythm within the team necessitates fielding the same group of players, as it provides a level of certainty/consistency. However, if the manager continues to alter formations and team selections frequently, it becomes challenging to achieve this desired continuity. The issue extends beyond the players themselves; the manager's role is equally crucial in fostering team cohesion.

That’s been the problem for years. Establishing a continuity on the pitch, we haven’t know our best XI for years. An elite manager/tactician like Tuchel can help alleviate that but you’re limiting yourself against the likes of City and Liverpool

@@BlackOxymoron As a football enthusiast, I may not possess the same level of experience as Cesc, but the impact of a new coach on a team is evident. We witnessed the difference when Tuchel took charge of the same players Lampard had. Cesc also highlighted the positive changes brought by Conte at Chelsea during his playing days, Emery, Zidane, and Ancelotti in their respective clubs. This serves as a reminder that player responsibilities and the guidance of a coach are both vital aspects of success. It does not diminish the importance of players' efforts.
While acknowledging Lampard's efforts and respecting his current role, it's possible that Chelsea could benefit from additional support for Lampard or the squad as a whole. It's worth noting that even legendary managers like Sir Alex Ferguson relied on a barrage of coaches and technical staff to achieve success.
As a fan of Lampard, I too had high hopes for his success. I still hold onto that hope for the future, considering his remarkable experience working with coaches during his own football career.

For a team to gel and play like a real team it the work of the manager to bring them together. Frank can't motivate these players thats my opinion he also doesn't have any tactics to implement so how can these lads play better if we already have a bad coach.!!!!!!!

Cesc and Jimmy said it best. Boehly and co. have proven that they’re on board with long term success due to their patience for giving Potter that amount of time while all of us know that he should’ve been sacked way before that. It’s just their inexperience, hence the reasons why they can’t find that right person cuz they don’t start watching football after they bought the club and those guys didn’t know the recipe for success yet. It’s about finding the right manager like Cesc said and also giving the next manager the keys to the team for them to maximize the squad’s potential while at the same time, let the people that they’re hired to do their job instead of them trying to stick their noses in places that they don’t belong like Jimmy said

Cesc Fabregas care more about Chelsea than Lampard.
Example of why sometimes pundits can be having more clear assessment than a manager.
You buy enzo 120m, mudryk 100m, play them every week to see is these guys gonna make you ein trophy or not.
Lampard with his ego goes for sterling eventhough he never got the result. What he got is to chase the losing scorline and play the gems in really late scenario hoping they would save his face.
He was lucky Madueke save his face last night.
In the end its also on the manager because to get to 90minutes you need a really solid situation to begin with, and your starting XI is the answer.
