Nice collection sir. You can filter the forever stems and the others for 6mm. All you need is a 1/4 sharp drill bit and go slow and straight. I have done this to 90% of mine.

Returned to pipe smoking after a few decades . Prices up since then . Plan B was 6 cobs , 3 codger blends and cleaner supplies for about $100 . Still like those old tobacco brands so all good here . Thankfully, the relaxation part is still the same ! N.J.
I definitely love my corn cob pipes. They don’t ghost and they require less work to clean and maintain.

I just got the Dune Elf Cobbit and love it. I am wondering if you noticed any difference in heat retention with the epoxy coat. Some people claim that chemicals will also leech but pipe companies are not using beeswax on all their pipes so I am skeptical. I have used spray poly on a few briars I restored and notice nothing different.
Thank you for your comment. Epoxy is completely inert at those temperatures. The outside never gets hot.
Nice cob collection. I carry my cobs daily on the road as a truck driver.
I keep mine in a padded bag. They’re the ones I take when I’m leaving the house.

Thank you so much, Rose. A lot of my enjoyment comes from the fact that it’s an American made company that’s just under three hours away from me to the north. There are a whole bunch of us that are going to be going to Washington Missouri in September for their fall festival and Missouri Meerschaum Co. 155th. Anniversary tour and special event. If you go on their website under Missouri Meerschaum pipes you can find out all about it and get tickets for their tours. It should be a blast. Herman Missouri is a completely a German settlement.. That’s just a river about 30 miles. My wife and I are going to go there too. it’s so German that everybody speaks German.

They are every bit as good as a briar, though not as attractive.
Nice pipes! Love my MM cobs too. Especially the cobbits.
I have two of the shire models. Those two are definitely my favorites. I did buy two country gentlemen, an emerald, and a Charles Towne cobbler. I put forever stems on them and turned them into Cadillacs. I also cut the wood out of the bottom of the bowl where the stem is. I filled that in with pipe mortar.
