Mark Weins videos got me through one of the deepest depressions of my life. I'd literally sit under a blanket and binge his videos. Just an all around good dude. I love seeing happy people
Welcome to Antsirabe Madagascar 🇲🇬 Marc! Thanks again for your visit! I’m incredibly proud, thrilled and touched watching this video. You are truly the best. Congratulations on this amazing video! Mankasitraka eh ✌
Thanks to Micheal for taking Mark there. Such a wonderful gesture. Mark is such a great guest. The way he acknowledges everyone and respects the culture is great.
Mark really has the best job. As an African myself (Kenyan), I barely know anything about Madagascar, and we're on the same continent. Your videos make me realize how much exists that I know nothing about.
This man is a legend when it comes to food. Not only respect him for touring and showing us around the world but he can enjoy the foods just like locals which normal ppl probably can't eat the way he enjoy the local food. Awesome!
Aside from the very interesting meal at Michael's home, what was most notable was the wonderful friendliness and welcoming atmosphere of the people there. I couldn't help but smile at the end of the video.
I'm so hyped up seeing you finally made it to Madagascar. Watching your videos has been the highlight of the day for me for the past 5 years. I have always pictured taking you around and have you try my personal favorites when it comes to Malagasy cuisine so seeing you enjoying the food this much is special to me! Would have loved to meet you in person!
Brother Mark once again in the continent that started it all. I love how much love you show the Motherland. You are giving me ideas where to go. Great job
Mazotoa omana! I got to live in Mada for a couple years in 2006-2008 and I think about it for one reason or another almost every day! The food, the people, the land, sights, smells. Love it so much
A true village hospitality, never ever you’ll find it in western country,my apology if you ever find one,may be remote areas but not in cities.wonderful villagers,I’m jealous now.lots of love from Mauritius
I'm so jealous to see these feasts! The amazing fresh, natural, and diverse food from Madagascar is such a source of pride for us. I really miss the family gatherings. By the way, don’t forget to try the 'bononoka,' Mark. Have a wonderful stay there!
The highlight for me is the speech that Michael's wife gave. It got me really emotional. Mark , you are more than a content creator. You are touching lives in many ways more than you know❤
Thank you for spreading the happiness of food….Watching from Fiji 🇫🇯, can’t believe that I can see some of their unique culture that look similar to ours, their food & hospitality look exactly like the way we are here in Fiji. African melanin around the 4 corners of the world, straight from the bible.
@madagaskar.adalah.indonesia the malgaches are afro Asian and the african part come from the bantus. U do kmow the africans in Mozambique are bantus right? And u have the recently immigrants immigrants
While we constantly demonise Internet and social media platforms, Mark brings us the plus side of the Internet and everything related to it, which otherwise would have been impossible to come to know about such remote and unexplored spots of this planet through traditional documentaries. Thanks a lot
Brilliant food and as always I say the people who you have your meal along with make all the more difference. Such amazing, loving, and happy people makes cooking and sharing the meal so much better. Keep spreading love through your visits @Mark Wiens. #FoodAndFoodiesShallPrevail. Lots of love from India to all the people of Madagascar ❤
Watching you try village food in Madagascar is absolutely heartwarming! The flavors, the community, and the rich cultural experiences shine through every bite. Thank you for sharing such a genuine and immersive food journey. It's a beautiful reminder of the connections food can create. 🍲❤
Mark is happy everywhere he goes !! He fits in with everyone's family. Love to see him being authentic , kind, and hungry. Lol. What a world it would be if others were just kind. Mark , Ying and Micah💕💕💕
Mark - you are the patron saint of kindness and respect. That is wonderful and heart warming episode that you should be incredibly proud of producing. Fabulous. 🙏🏽
I have watched MANY Mark, and others food vlogs. But the energy coming from the people at the last spot was palpable. Good vibes, and great love too all❤
WOW!!! I CAN’T IMAGINE THE JOY OF THE FRIENDLY PEOPLE OF MADAGASCAR, TO HAVE IN ITS HOME MARK WIENS, A TRUE HERO FROM TH-cam. I KNOW FOR SURE THEY WILL NEVER FORGET THIS EXPERIENCE AS WELL AS MARK TO VISIT THIS GREAT COUNTRY. THANKS MARK FOR THIS AWESOME JOURNEY!!!
Calling malagasy people friendly is kind of a stretch. When you get to know them in their daily lives, a majority of them are a bunch of hypocrites and act like jerks. They only act in their cliché way when sober and interacting with foreigners.
I literally smiled all the way through the visit to Michael’s home town/village. Thank you Michael and Family for allowing us to see your beautiful home. And Mark as always. Great job😀😀😀
Great Job, Mark! My former hometown for 4 years (Antsirabe)! You finally made it! I suggested you go there 6 years ago! Real FOOD Experience! Thanks for the video!!
Goose liver and leg looked so delicious and rich tasting and the fritters with peanut sauce too, and all the food. Like check shirts Mark and two others were wearing.
Lovely and welcoming people‼️The feast was another level‼️I crave for the days I will be cooking on open fire‼️Thank you to all the hard working ladies and men that kept all those pots 🥘♨️going🙌‼️The flavours were transpiring through the screen‼️
It was wonderful to see the Madagascar kind of food, but also the culture of eating together with the family is encredible feeling....love you mark ,and the hospitable citizens of Madagascar....love from India ❤
What a lovely family and community Michael has! We love them! Incredible, that everyone of them comes together to invite you and share this with us!!! 🥹🥰
May the force be with you Mark. You , Sonny & Mike are my favorites in the food world. Before that it was Anthony Bourdain. Love your posts. One question. How do you stay so fit & healthy? Stay blessed
Mark the market place was amazing and Michael's village and the people so welcoming, that was an awesome spread of deliciois food they made, loved how everyone worked together.
During Corona period, Mark Wein you saved my life.due to depression I had to watch your videos from the first video to the last video you uploaded while you were back home town.
Thank you Mark for this amazing videos and through you I am able to watch and understand the culture and most of all different kinds of foods around the world. God bless you
Lots of love to u n your family Madagascar food was very good looked so tasty first time I saw people eating cassava leaves hope u have enjoyed the food god bless u Mark n family
I think that some locals wouldn't consider you as a foreigner because a chunk of the Malagasy people inherited facial traits from South East Asia. Anyway, enjoy your trip. I'm hyped for the content.
And he is even wearing a "malabary" like a true conservative local and appreciates the cultures like a local. He just need to learn some more malagasy language skills and can blend perfectly in the community wherever he goes 😁🇲🇬.
Perhaps for Mark it is a journey of eating, a diary of kindness of each other, the days when the souls of the foodies got connected! Little did he and the villagers know that this is also a good documentation of how the recipes cooked (as a homecook, this channel feels like the window of the world), how people live their daily life there. Food is a treasure and legacy! Blessed abundantly all!
Mark! You know you going to hurt so many people around the world, you are the most LOVED food blogger channel, it's not just your food, but our favourite face😍!! We love you Mark!!❤❤❤from UK. Oh, we love you Africa!!❤❤❤
I just ate but then I got hungry when I saw that vegetable sauteed and the Ravitoto ( cassava leaves) and all the meat. Thanks for trying the rural food and enjoy the rest of your trip.
Mark Weins videos got me through one of the deepest depressions of my life. I'd literally sit under a blanket and binge his videos.

From the Philippines : God bless Madagascar, Africa
Everything seems ok in the world while watching Mark's vlogs... He is spreading happiness... Always love to watch his videos
Yes, even though we are living the most peaceful time in history, sometimes it feels good to escape the "real life" and binge his food vlogs
Hope he can visit the children in Gaza and share a meal with them ❤
Exploring with Josh got me through my divorce. And provided me with a distraction.
Thank you, really appreciate your incredible support!
I was watching election videos and got all stressed up and then came here to watch him! Instant drop in blood pressure!
i love how mark shows another side of Africa, the people, the culture, the hospitality name it that the mainstream media will never
