Thank you ka engineer. I also managed before a construction in Sydney Australia worth $3M and completed in 2 years. I did not know that your blog was available (well, that was 22 years ago anyway, hehehe). I represent the interests of the building owner, not the contractor though. I do not have enough experience in construction then because I am a mechanical engineer that do design works in the thermal engineering industry. But yes, I did the breakdown like you did and it makes me easier to analyze the progress billing of the contractor the way you represented here to pay the contractor.
Now that I am planning to do land development in the Philippines with the aim of building low cost home packages, I will keep your blog as an important reference. Thanks mate. You are a big help.

Hi sir , hindi ko na pinagawa sa contractor ang bahay ko. Madami ako nakuhang idea sa youtube lang . Ako lahat bumili ng materyales hanggang matapos malaki natipid ko at maayos pa ang gawa. Bungalow style lang . Manood lang tau sa youtube madami tau mga idea makuha.
Paano ka po bumili ng mga gumawa? Bagong lipat kasi kami, from another province, wala pang madaming kakilala
true, mostly ng pinapanuod ko ngaun mga house tours, house tour reaction vids ng mga architects and engineers at mga shared ideas kung saan makakabili ng murang materials. hopefully masimulan na ung completion ng bare-type house na nakuha ko. :)
@@myPurplehubbymommyMiles nag leave kc ako sa work ng 2 months ng nagpagawa ako ng house. Pumili ako ng magaling at sanay gumawa ng house. Ako lahat lahat bumili ng materyales at nag ca canvas muna ako. Pati mga tiles sinukat ko lahat kaya tama lang ang nabili ko. Sa amin sa province kc mura lang ang 1 load ng buhangin. Dapat alam mo ang style ng house na ipagawa at ang budget. 2016 ako nagpagawa mdyo mura p dati materyales at depende din sa budget natin. Sigurado maayos ang bahay pag tau nagpagawa at malaki ang matipid . Congrats sa iyong ipatayong house.

thank you sir ahahaha i`m currently working as office engineer then they want me to make a progress billing for design, this help me a lot.
Napaka-informative ng video, at least kahit papaano hindi tayo basta2 maloloko ng mga mapagsamantalang contractors although hindi lahat. Napakalaking halaga kasi ang involve dito, at usually ang nangyayari dito sa amin, hindi satisfied ang owner sa outcome. Maraming Salamat Engr. sa pagbahagi ng mga napakahalagang kaalaman about sa pag.construct ng bahay.

Ang galing ng explanation mo kabayan. Uu dapat naman talaga ganito ang procedure sa paniningil ng contractor kay client. Sabihin ni contractor kung ano ang natapos niya with pictures or videos lalo na kung nasa ibang bansa o Lugar si Client.
