Shoot video in small time interval. Lower the resolution and lower the frame rate. Shoot all resolution videos in 24 frames per second. This is for longer video. If you really need to shoot in higher resolution 4k/5K then you can increase frame-rate but you have to decrease the shooting time.

Should I send it to the Service centre also I can hardly record outside because the camera overheats since the outside temperature is 40°C and then this issue comes

Don't try to experiment like Mr Ambuj. Today I tried to check when it will Show on screen Overheating. I set 1080 50FPS bettery 100% Go pro started heating slowly after 10 minutes .but as Mr ambuj said it shows over heating or switch off ,in my case my go pro 10 didn't switch off neither show on screen despite battery about to burn a smell coming from bettery at 42 minute .. shutter was auto mode..Now bettery is light melt ,room temperature was 29 -30 ..So don't try ....
Bro.. The problem is in your camera.. I told you in the previous comment, go to service Centre but you didn’t take my words and experimented on your GoPro. Faulty GoPro has many issues. you should not have tried that thing. And don’t ask me that type of questions I am not the authorised person.

My gopro 10 is consuming more charge and overheating after installing media mode
I hot GoPro 8 from usa, after 30 minutes shoots it heats and shut down. Is that battery problem? Because battery from 100% comes to 0%.

If we use 1080 Fps nd 25 then heats after 10 minutes .Otherwise it heats within 5 minutes..
