My boat has stock props with 4 3s packs set to the back. With the drives at 2.5 mm up and stock props it wants to porpoise pretty bad. When accelerating up to full speed from about 1/4 to 3/4 throttle I have to put a tiny bit of rudder it to keep it from porpoising bad. Once I hit about 3/4 throttle I can let off of the rudder and go completely straight and run wide open and it will stay planted. I have tried the drives lower, almost zero and moved the batteries forward and it seems to not make it any better. Any advice for me or is this normal with these boats. Yours looks super planted and stable. Should I try raising the drives to 3mm up? I know that’s backwards of a traditional full size boat but I’m new to the rc catamarans having a blast with it though.
Also, do you adjust the struts left or right? Thanks
I'd try raising them a little. Not sure what conditions you run in. There aren't any left or right adjustments in the struts.

Hello! Can you tell me which Batteries do you use? 4X3s or 2X6s batteries? And from which manufactor are your batteries?
I normally run 4-3s packs from Revolectrics, Tattu/Gens Ace, SMC and Turnigy.

Thanks Bro. Zelos turns faster and the Zonda is made for straight line runs but still can turn decent. Both handle about the same as stability. Almost comes down if you like neon green better or if you like white/black better.

Lovely. I have the same boat. Mine is new and I haven't tried it yet. There is still ice on the water in Norway where I live. But in a month everything gets better. I have of course bought Lippo 6 cell X 2 ie 12 cell. Am looking forward as a child to start using it. I have had three electric boats before. Traxxas spartan. Tfl Genesis and one from Dragon Hobby.

your using a gamin gps to put telemetry on the video are you getting that from when you do the download to your computer and then your imposing it onto the screen to show the actual speed? I know this may be a dumb question but im assuming your matching it up to fit the video? and what Garmin are you using?
yes exactly. Garmin vivoactive normally.
What batteries are u using just got mine yesterday running on two 4s 5000 50c get ok speed not really sure but it's faster than my veles 29 on 5s

Thanks! A few minor strut adjustments, Timing Normally 0° or 7.5° timing.
I was wondering if you have ever measured the boat from bow to back of propellers? Just curious. It has to be longer than the 36" stated in it's specs. If you get a chance let us know!
The hull is 36 inches and if you measure to the back of the prop shafts the length is 39.25 inches

Damn 170+ km/h, but water surface should be quite stright to make that happen and not flip over it :D. What u think about parts cooling inside? It's enough? is not overheating?. I am considering buying this boat, with two 3s LiPo's. :)

Thanks! with this setup its only a bout 3 passes before LVC. t's a speed run prop and setup only. But if you use smaller props then you can get around 4-5 min of runtime depending on how much throttle you are giving it. These props are called Super Geico props from dasboata. best to email him at dasboata@aol.com

Nice! I don't think I'd remove the battery tray. It supports the keel of the boat some especially its abs plastic.

For the overlay you have to have a gps that saves files as "fit" or "gpx" formats then you can overlay them in software. This is the first time I have tried it so i'm not too good at it still learning myself...LOL! Thanks for stopping by Bro.
