I need help i installed in my ssd which already has windows and my files in it but i cant boot it up to that ssd even though it is listed, the boot priorities is blank
@ update i set the boot option to uefei and legacy cause i have m.2. Then the priority boot was set to that m.2 but when i save and exit it went back to bios and the priority boot was blank again. What do i do?
I have a Jginyue b550i. It was the cheapest itx I could find at the moment. It is working surprisingly good, to be honest. Just wrote their official store to have the newest bios. The one I have now doesn't have the sleep option, or I missed it in the rather uninspiring bios 😅. But I would very much buy another one based on their hardware
good night , I set up my pc these days with this board , every time I turn it on it hangs when win10 starts to run charging or gets black screen , do you know any solution for this?

It's a strange motherboard. For sure. But then all of the 800 motherboards have weird goings on. Nearly all of the ones I have looked at disable lanes or include switches between the expansion slots and the m.2 or sata ports. Is it a lack of lanes, are they over promising or are they under specced? As it's putting me off the new 9000 series entirely.
@mikesunboxing I'm just comparing to my Aorus Elite Z790 I have free reign to do anything without limits. It just feels AMD boards are "borked" by comparison. When we know the cpus are powerful as the reviews state. I'm just someone who loves expansion capability so when something is disabled I just feel like I've been short changed or taken for a ride. If it's £300+ for a board I would just go Core Ultra regardless of the performance hit. 🙄 I reference a video by Tech Notice who reviewed a gigabyte board the other day.
@@JohnDavidSullivan after looking at some 800 series amd boards i cant see that any are "nerfed" is terms of PCIe support, especially when compared to some B650 boards. Those are as gimped as some B550 boards were
The only 800 series motherboard I’ve seen that avoids all the PCIe lane sharing shenanigans is the Asrock X870E Nova. But it’s $349.99 USD and has been sold out in most places since late October
OK....everything working now. R5 7600 + RTX 4060. This will be my bedroom little gaming setup (mostly to play ANNO 1800 and other strategy games before sleep). The only issue I'm having is the long startup (POST) without any video. Then it comes a fast JGINYUE logo screen and the Windows sign-in screen right after. Anyone else getting this ultra long delay without any video ?
@@mikesunboxing : I did it...both. But surprisingly, after few reboots, the POST time shortened to 5 seconds. It's like the machinde "learned" the settings. LOL. Previously I was constantly tweaking the BIOS...and everytime I do that, I get the 30 second POST delay again.

Love your honesty, i always look at description for item and no wiser lol Interesting option if building budget itx. Thanks Mike and Kath 🐈👍
i could pause the recording every time i don't know something, and then casually explain the stuff, but thats not me

It's not very clear in Jginyue Web site which M.2 slot has its pcie lanes coming directly from the CPU...or from the Chipset.
top slot on the front is from the CPU, the rear is from the chipset

i like where they are heading with the brand, they have asked me to take a look at the new B650 Gaming Plus

I have some trouble with cpu voltage, it's always in 1,568V~ and idk how i can lower that value, can i do it from bios?
yes you can, or change the power profile in windows to energy saver

PCIe lanes are a right pain, and letting manufacturers use them pretty much however they like is not helping

@@mikesunboxing no that’s fair. Maybe it’s me but I just feel AMD boards don’t get as much love as Intel ones.

do the ram training tweaks, like context restore and enable memory power down
