    The only place I can find the replacement bearings and springs is Germany. There is a guy on ebay selling them. I ordered the kit and will follow you again when I get it. Four years later and you are still helping people. Thank y'all for your help. 🤠
    UPDATE: I received the replacement kit. The person selling them in Germany is trustworthy. I put the watch back together and it works like new. Thank you again Matt.

    Fixed my watch today! Thanks!
    Initially, I went to Samsung service center for parts and they told me
    "No can't do, need to change the entire front screen (2/3 price of a new watch). If the bezel and gasket came off there is no way to put it back on"
    I rolled my eyes so hard that I almost went blind.
    So I ordered the parts from FoneJoy as you suggested, and then it's a 30min fix with nothing but my hands. No tools needed.
    Thanks again. You save me lots and lots of money.

    Many thanks for this tutorial. I purchased the parts from the ebay shop you named and got it all back together using your help. I found a needle was useful to skewer the springs and a cocktail stick to help poke them into the holes off of the needle. To put the ball bearings in, I just licked the end of the stick and picked up the balls with it. Hey presto!

    Brilliant. Feared the worst when I caught my watch on something and the bezel popped off. Found this video and ordered replacement parts off eBay for £6. Followed the video (definitely use a plate to stop the springs and ball bearings rolling away) and it was fixed in a few minutes. The bezel felt a little stiff at first but after a few rotations it slipped back into place.

  • @jdgrove99
    @jdgrove99 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Hi, thanks for the video Matt, really helped me get my watch cleaned out and working like new. I found spares on eBay and all worked fine. The gasket ring is the trickiest part but as long as it sits in place when you replace the bezel it works fine. One thing I noticed is that there are four black pads on the face of the watch in between the springs and ball bearing holes. I assume they are cushioning, but one had detached on my watch. I couldn't get it to stay in place so have kept it with my spares - I guess it could be stuck down with some glue but the watch works fine without it so haven't needed to do that. Thanks again!

    Bro, thanks so much for this. I have the exact same watch. I had to do warranty exchanges 4 times through TMO cause they couldn't get my number activated on it so they kept sending me new ones. Every single one manufactured in 2019 the bezel gets stuck or hard to turn after two weeks of use. Turns out the springs are too weak or compressed and don't provide enough upward tension to the bearings. After seeing your video I figured replacing parts with the exact same seller you used would do the trick and it did, it spins how the ol gear s3 used to and is working perfect.

    Yep done this to my s3 frontier. Good times. The hardest part is finding the ring.

    Thank you do much! Excellent, clear directions. Thanks for the idea of toothpick - way easier than what I was trying before. And same all the way through as mine even down to the 1 bearing and spring still in watch!
