    I launched 3 of the 4 bearings. Luckily all the springs stayed. After about ten minutes of searching with a bright light, I found the bearings. The cleaning was a lifesaver. I have the mechanical bezel and it stopped working. After its isopropyl scrub, it was brand new. Thanks for the video.

    I didn't find my set of small screw drivers, nor did I find a guitar pick. I just used a razor blade very carefully and it came right off. As someone else said, I also didn't have an alcohol cleaning solution, so I just used water. Lastly, I did somehow lose a ball bearing and spring, but I put the ring back on and even with 3 left it still feels as new! Now I just have to watch out that I don't lose those aswell. Thank you!

    Thank you!! My bezel was locked up completely. I used alcohol & q-tips. Used q-tips, swiping the alcohol around the inside/outside the bezel. Try to move the bezel, little wipe with alcohol q-tip, try moving bezel, etc. After 3 tries it loosened it right up! Twists, clicks like new!
    Thanks for excellent video and help!!

    A word of caution is to be sure to keep the watch flat on the table until you are sure the ring has snapped down. Any small gap in the sides and the ball bearings can fall out.
    They are very hard if not impossible to locate if they fall off your workstation.

    Great tutorial! As another commentator mentioned, the white plastic ring has small tabs on it which need to be facing down towards the watch when putting the bezel back on. I struggled with this a bit and once I orientated it correctly, I still had an issue getting the bezel to snap all the way down as it was uneven. I found out you must lay the bezel down evenly before attempting to snap it in place.

    I just did this on my galaxy watch 3, I was so freaking scared. The hardest part was gently prying the bezel off. But I used exactly what he said and just didn't rush. Mine was absolutely filthy, but I cleaned it good. One of the little bearing did pop out but I just rolled it back into its slot and was much more careful. Make sure on the plastic ring the little ridges/bumps are facing down towards the watch and it's seated/tucked into the inside of the bezel before putting it back on. Now it spins like a dream. Just. Like. New.

    Great video I did do it but, lost one bearings. I found in the comments "Gerallt" where to get them Amazon and the size (bearings 1.5mm in diameter). I plan to replace my bezel with a gear s3 because it is bigger and can be turned with one finger easily (one thing I missed on that watch) I still have it. I bought a gear s3 off ebay for parts only cheap. As far as I know the gear s3 will still work with Bluetooth ( you cannot have two watches on the same phone, I tried) but is on 3G network for the phone to work and that is now gone.

I struggled a bit to get it back on, but finally managed, but now it is a bit stiff and no longer clicks as clearly, even though the ball-bearings are still in place (one was missing already when i took the bezel off). Have I somehow put the bezel on wrong (eg too tight/loose etc) - is that possible?

      @naoseicarlos I think they were used for some sort of waterproofing, so as long as you don't get the watch wet, it isn't required to have them. The function of my watch was perfectly fine without them, it was worth it because the dial felt much better compared to before I cleaned it.

      They help keep add some friction to the watch and a bit more of a seal to the watch. Your watch will still work just be careful to keep it underwater for to long.

    I have a question. Do you know what these 4 black tapes are for and what they are for? The bezel works but does not run smoothly. The scrolling of the desktop screen after turning the bezel stops. I took the bezel apart and cleaned it. I noticed that 2pcs of this "tape" are missing

    • @MichaelMediaGroup
      @MichaelMediaGroup  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The tape is to keep friction and to help with water proofing I think but I am not 100% sure

    I have the watch 3 it's only 5 months old and I sprayed hand sanitizer alcohol on it to clean it and get lint out of it under bezel. Did I maybe dry the ball bearings? it's way more hard to turn bezel

    • @MichaelMediaGroup

      Sanitiser is a dense fluid that is why i used rubbing alcohol as well as that rubbing alcohol evaporates quickly so there is no residue.

      As long as you put that seal ring back in its water proof. I have done that 3 times since making the video and swim with my watch every week

    Hello, I have removed the bezel but now it does not fit well, how should I do it? What should I do with the white plastic so that it fits well?

    • @MichaelMediaGroup
      @MichaelMediaGroup  ปีที่แล้ว

      The white plastic ring goes back into the watch the same way up it was taken out. It can be a bit fiddly but everything goes back together the same way it was taken out

    What does that plastic ring do. Because mine just came out

    • @MichaelMediaGroup
      @MichaelMediaGroup  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It has to come out to clean but you can put it back in. Just helps the bezel stay in places when not turning it and stops more dirt going under the bezel

    My bezel used to spin really easily with 1 finger but now it is stiff and takes two. I thought maybe it just needed cleaning like this since it was dirty but it is still stiff after cleaning. Any ideas?

    • @spookykid666
      @spookykid666 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I had to fully pop it off and lose 2 of the ball bearings cuz they are tiny and fell somewhere. I had to take the bezel right off to deep clean it.

    all four ball bearings vanished instantly as I opened the ring. I found one of them on the ground
    (I'm starting to doubt the other three even existed to begin with) now it doesn't click as much but at least it spins smoothly 😀

    • @MichaelMediaGroup
      @MichaelMediaGroup  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The ball bearing can be replaced. I do not believe that they are expensive i would recommend having all four
