FanFantastic lesson Paul! Some questions: In the easy solo part - Melody Notes, you use the am scale, you don’t transpose for alto sax. You transpose in the advance improvisation because you use the AMaj/ f#m scale, right? Can you explain how transposition works here? Thanks again!
Thanks! For the beginner version I transposed it to concert C minor which puts the alto sax into an easier A minor key. For the advanced version I put it in the original key of concert A minor which is F# minor on alto.
