  • If you own any Audi with the Wifi or multimedia you can use ANY GSM sim to get online not just att. I recommend Ultra mobile which is a tmobile provider.
    Try it with your A4 , A6 , A5 , A7 , Q3 , Q5 , Q7 , etron e-tron . It will probably work with your BMW , Mercedes / Benz , Porsche , Lexus , you name it....a

    Does the GSM sim have to be connected to a IMEI from a phone, or can I just activate the sim without the phone and just put it in the Audi

    Hey so do I not have to visit and Audi dealer to do this ? I’ve been told to speak to Audi so they could activate a sim that’ll work with audi connect.

      No you do not need to go to Audi. Text me 702-300-8488. I own a cell phone store and have a solution. I will hook you up with a free sim card and free activation and shipping.

    so, it must be a GSM card? car will automatically recognize? manually set up apn, etc...? how much data do you recommend just for wifi in car with no kids?

    • @milaninvegas
      @milaninvegas  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes it must be a GSM card but the irony is that there is no such thing as anything else besides a gsm card. GSM means a SIM card. Now they have SIM card free service from mobile. you download an app and it gets the SIM card info over the air which is crazy and they let you try it out for a period of time. That is for your phone. For your car, you just need a SIM card. The ATT plan is not bad though but if you want to cut a few corners, you can do what I did and get a prepaid carrier .. This video was made some time ago. Since then the popularity of having a hotspot built into your phone is so common and free. I don't pay a dime extra for my 300mbps hotspot on my phone through to Tmobiles military magenta plan. You don't have to be military, it is just a few more bucks. I pay $105 for a family of 4 with unlimited everything in 5G including international data. I have used in Europe and Asia with no problem. WhatsApp and other apps are great for communicating if you have data only.

    Hey man, my Dad has a 2015 Audi Q7 (or late 2014) and it says it has a WIFI connectivity thingymajig but when we connect to it, it says “no internet connection.” We also don’t have that Audi SIM card that you pulled out between the 2 SD cars slots... is there another way to get it going?

    • @milaninvegas
      @milaninvegas  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      So you have no sim card slot for the wifi? Are you sure? How is it supposed to get internet? I would call the Audi dealer for clarification. If it has wifi, it should have a GSM sim card slot. I own a cell phone store and we work with Ultra mobile which is a Tmobile company. $10 per month for unlimited calling , texting and data for 80 countries. We offer free activation, free sim card and I will ship it anywhere in the US. There are higher plans if you think you will use a lot of data or hotspot. Feel free to reply here or text 702-300-8488

      @@milaninvegas i honestly have no idea where that slot is. But, there is a Wi-Fi connectivity thing that says “Audi 1572” or something, and it gives the password and everything, but after that, there is “no connection to the internet.”
      We also can’t seem to find a SIM card slot anywhere... not between the SD cards at least... where else would it be?!
      I think it would be kinda stupid for a car to have a Wi-Fi system where you can’t get data lmao.. if you have any ideas where the slot could be (or if there even is one) then please let me know, would be greatly appreciated. And no problem, I’ll keep supporting :)

      I would call the dealer and give your vin and double check that the feature actually came with the vehicle. You can't miss it in mine. Its front an center by the radio. If you are passing by an Audi dealer, stop in to the service drive up and they will tell you in 2 seconds if it has it or not.

      @@milaninvegas okay but it does say in media that there is Wi-Fi, and even gives us a code to fill in. Only when we have connected, there is no internet! So idk what we gotta do. Plus we've already been to an Audi dealership and they were confused themselves! They didn't even know that model could have that option and didn't know how to get it to work. Plus we only found out about it 3-4 years after buying it... so maybe we did have data but it just ran out from not being used. We'll be sure to go to another Audi dealer for clarification though
