I loved the Deep South of Thailand. I lived in Narathiwat for a year and Hat Yai for a couple of years. I traveled by motorbike all over the place, from the Thai border towns to Yala to Pattani and through many rural areas. The birds singing in the bird cages along many routes were a lovely backdrop to a unique culture. Check out the boat carving traditions of Narathiwat.
Nice!.. ill check out the boat carving in Narathiwat. I havent explored the deep south too much yet. Let me know if you think of anything else from down there, or even if you know any interesting locals.
@@DayintheLifestories It's been over 20 years, but I'll think about other cool stuff from the Deep South. One thing that you should check out in Nakhon Si Thammarat is the shadow puppet carving. They carve these incredibly detailed images from ancient days from leather and shine a light through them to capture the shadow effect. I bought a beautiful piece back in the day and still have it hanging near the front door of my house in Canada.
Watched a few of your videos, they're so good, keep going man
Thank you so much! Trying to grow this channel, its allot of work, but comments like yours help keep us going.
