I think that is why he got away so easily with crossing borders with weed. He talks about wearing a hat of the country you visit, but I think it's more that he was totally relaxed. They look for nervous people or people who are too high. Tommy just rolls in and rolls out and everyone thinks: what a nice guy.

I'm an airline pilot and had the chance to meet Tommy on one of my flights, he was super nice. We chatted and he snapped a picture with me. Great guy.

I met him back in the late '90s. He is actually everything you would hope for him to be... Kind, funny, considerate and laid back. His wife was beautiful, yet the same as Tommy. Which is so unfortunate because the only way we’ll win the “war on drugs” is to start understanding why people become addicts and that punishing them is clearly not the solution.

Me and my friend use to watch up in smoke and get high everyday for years , haven’t smoked in 12 years but man that’s a fun memory , back when life was easy and carefree , also when I was a little kid maybe 5 my mom would always play there album basketball Jones , he made up so much of my childhood thank you for all the laughs and memories

The weed back in the '70s was ass-kickin'. There was Red Bud, Gold Bud, Tai Stick, Blonde Lebanese Hash, Black African Finger Hash, Jamaican, Columbian, Occopulco Gold, etc. and it came in what was called Lids, not ozs and it was $30 to $40 a Lid. By around 1978 or 79 the price jumped up dramatically when Sencimilla started coming around. That was in Chicago where I was at.

I met Tommy Chong at Bar in Missouri, He was doing a gig at. He was doing stand up comedy and played "Up In Smoke" with his acoustic guitar & was also selling Bongs.. I bought a bong from him that he signed and he also signed a $20 bill I had.. I asked him if we could step outside and smoke a joint that I had. He said he would love to but because of the laws in Missouri he couldn't.. ( This was about a year before he got incarcerated for selling bongs.) Awesome Experience.. Love Tommy Chong.. I Take A Toke & All My Dreams Go Up In Smoke.

When Tommy was talking about hashish and he mentions making it with pollen, he is a tad off. Pollen is produced by the male plants, which are not desirable for such use. The trichomes of the female plants are used for the best quality hash.

Oh yeah, I saw that ad. I think the idea was behind busting the giant CBD rush of assholes putting out bullshit products. If you want to really enjoy the benefits of cannabinoids, full spectrum is best. Market is currently flooded with CBD extracts that are from Hemp and contain no other cannabanoids. It's like getting an electrolyte drink that only has salt in it. BULLSHIT.
