I gotta say, I’ve really been on the free will view for a long time. But this view is more humbling, it makes me more grateful. It makes me feel as if I didn’t do any work (I didn’t). It makes me want to really sanctify my heart in Christ. Loved the message.

As a heathen outsider, I can say two things about this: 1) this type of predestination makes the most sense and seems the most theological sound based on the Bible. If I am justly destined for hell, I could understand and accept that. The odds suggest that this is overwhelmingly likely, and; 2) i have seen several video presentations by R. C. and this one by far and away shows his best hair style 😆

There is good reason people struggle with this view. Our God-given conscience warns us about it. That interpretation of Romans 9 is not taking the context of the letter into consideration. The main purpose of the letter is to show how Israel is rejected as the chosen in favour of all persons of faith in Christ, a reinterpretation of the covenant. The passage read is talking about God's decision of Jacob's over Esau's descendents to carry forth God's redemptive plan. The expression used "Jacob He loved, Esau He hated" is used in other places in the Bible to mean choosing one over the other (Jesus told us to "hate" our families for example). "God wants everyone to be saved and to fully understand the truth." 1 Timothy 2:4

The many who object to the biblical doctrine of predestination and election miss the key point, the point of everything, from Genesis to Revelation: that God would be glorified! And he is glorified in the demonstration of His attributes. He is holy, just, merciful, loving, kind, good, righteous, immutable, incorruptible, immanent, transcendent, perfect, sovereign, wise, eternal, to name a few.
He will be glorified by putting all of these on display, to us and to the angels. God has ordained all that will come to pass, even the rejection of His Son by many, so that His justice and righteousness will be demonstrated. He elects to save many to demonstrate His grace, love and mercy.
And if you don't like this then you have no idea who God is, you don't know your bible, and who are you, oh man, who answers back to God? He will be glorified in the way that He has chosen! And, fortunately, He will be glorified in spite of this open-theistic, humanistic, man-centered, semi-Pelagian cancer that has infiltrated the church. Go read the prophets. Learn who God is.

The hope of the believer in Jesus flows from the free, sovereign love of Almighty God; therefore it is called "a good hope through grace;" "good," because it issues from the fountain of goodness; "through grace," because it originates solely in unmerited mercy.
This hope rests upon an immovable foundation, even on the divinity and atonement of Jesus Christ, who is called by the Spirit of Truth "our hope;" because all our hope of salvation is treasured up in him, and flows from him.
All who possess this hope, have Christ dwelling in their hearts by faith; therefore, says the apostle, "Christ in you, the hope of glory." The Spirit of Christ is the pledge and seal of future glory, and abides in the hearts of all the faithful in Christ Jesus.
The Christian's hope is "a living hope." It gives the believer vigor in running the race that is set before him. It animates him in his arduous warfare. It enables him to endure, with patience and fortitude, the rugged path through which he has to travel Zionward.
The Christian's hope is "full of immortality." It traverses the valley of the shadow of death, and opens to his view the boundless prospect of eternal glory. It gathers by delightful anticipation many a precious cluster of the grapes of Eshcol, and thus gives a foretaste of the joys of heaven.
The Christian's hope "makes not ashamed, because the love of God is shed abroad in his heart, by the Holy Spirit who is given unto him." It forms a divine evidence of his union to Christ. He can now say with Paul, "I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believes." He is not ashamed to confess Christ before men, as his only hope of glory.
He can declare with humble confidence and heartfelt sincerity, "I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day."
The Christian's hope is "a helmet of salvation," which covers his head in the day of battle, when the fiery darts of Satan are leveled against him. It is "an anchor of the soul," both sure and steadfast, which preserves the tempest tossed soul from being driven into the ocean of doubts and despondencies, or dashed against the rocks of presumption or despair.
Surely, then, it is "a blessed hope." All who possess it are blessed. This made the apostle pray so sweetly for the Roman converts; "Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost."
Oh that I may approach you at all times sprinkled with the atoning blood, until I awake in the mansions of glory, where hope shall be swallowed up in the enjoyment of your everlasting love.

EXAMPLE of the children of God

@@aletheia8054 Do you mean God, by only saying the Word, can command us to love (agape) Him back?
My understanding of predestination is this. God has predestined people who will execute His Prophetic Plan He established fron the beginning up to the end. And those He called will automatically belong to God's family, but there are those who will not be, as in Rev. 21, it talks about Kings and nations in the New Heaven and New Earth. In Matthew 25, it teaches that nations will be sorted out in the end, separating the sheep from the goats. And for those predestined will be judged by rewards at the Judgemnt Seat of Christ. So there you see the clear definition of predestination. God set apart a people to Himself to become instrument in accomplishing His Righteous plan of Salvation and Redemption of His Creation through His Christ. He will also set apart nations by His Righteousness at the Mercy Seat of Christ that will be present at Great White Throne Judgment, where all the dead that will come out of Hades/Outer Darkness/Prison will have to face judgment, be it be thrown to the Lake of Fire as mercy Killing, or be Pardoned to live on through the New Heaven and New Earth (Restored Eden), as the nations outside New Jerusalem, to be ruled by kings, the predestined and set apart people of God, the Wife of the Lamb.

@kenthepen247gmail You need to rekindle your fight and argument against Calvinistic "predestination". Genesis 6:6 debunks Calvinism's false teaching that He "predestined" everything including the fall of man, sin, and evil. Calvinists also believe that God created man and then INTENTIONALLY predestined his fall and predestined sin and evil. If that is true, then it makes no logical sense for God to feel regret and be deeply troubled afterwards. Hence, the errant belief that God predestined the fall of man is debunked and blown out of the water.
Genesis 6:6 - The Lord REGRETTED that he had made human beings on the earth, and his heart was DEEPLY TROUBLED.
If YOU create something and then intentionally engineer it for FAILURE, THEN YOU SHOULD NOT BE FEELING REGRET AND BE TROUBLED AFTERWARDS. If you deliberately and intentionally create a passenger airliner where it will explode in mid air killing hundreds of passengers, then you would not be feeling regret and be troubled afterwards. I mean after all, you created it to explode, why would you feel regret and be troubled afterwards?
Calvinism's wicked teaching that God predestined man's fall, sin, and evil is based upon a perverted understanding of such passages like Isaiah 45:7 and Amos 3:6. However, the context of those passages is clearly explained by many passages in the book of Jeremiah and other Old Testament books. The passages in those books explain that God brings evil, disaster, and calamity upon nations and people when they are living in disobedience, unfaithfulness, and wickedness. God brings those things upon nations and individuals as punishment and as a wake up call. These passages include Jeremiah 16:10-12, Jeremiah 5:19, 2 Chronicles 7:21-22, 1 Kings 9:8-9, etc.
Calvinism's demonic teaching makes God the author of sin and evil and in essence exonerates Satan and man. There is double talk and contradiction in Calvinism regarding whether or not God is the author of sin and evil. Calvinism's wicked teaching is a direct attack on the true nature and character of God. God's foreknowledge of the Inquisition, the Holocaust, Pearl Harbor, Dec 7, 1941, the Rape of Nanking 1937, and the 9/11 Terrorist attacks does NOT equal to God intentionally and deliberately making those atrocities happen. Those atrocities happened due to the innate evil and wickedness of men's hearts.
James 1:13-14 - When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” FOR GOD CANNOT BE TEMPTED BY EVIL, NOR DOES HE TEMPT ANYONE; but each person is tempted when they are dragged away BY THEIR OWN EVIL DESIRE and enticed.
Jeremiah 32:35 - They built high places for Baal in the Valley of Ben Hinnom to sacrifice their sons and daughters to Molek, though I NEVER COMMANDED -NOR DID IT ENTER MY MIND-that they should do such a detestable thing and so make Judah sin.

Predestination example 1: Its kind of like this. A man’s wife is finally pregnant and the couple are over joyed. I hope it is a boy the man said and I hope he will be interested in becoming an electrician like me. I also hope he goes into the trade and if he does, I plan for him to take over the family business some day! But I know that these plans that I have made for him, before one of his days of life begin will be entirely up to my son. I cannot force him, I cannot put a gun to his head, I can only encourage and guide him and hope. In other word’s the man has predestined a plan for his son, He has chosen a plan for his son. He has elected to give all this to his son if he so desires it!
Outcome 1 The baby is born and it is a boy. He is interested in his fathers work and goes to electrical trade school, but drops out and becomes a lawyer instead.
Outcome 2 He drops out of school becomes a bum, a drunk or a murderer etc.
Outcome 3 The son follows his fathers predestinated plan, through trade school and takes over his father’s business. The fathers predestined plans for his son will happen, or will not happen, according to the choices the son makes.
Its the same with mankind. There is a master plan given to every human being to know God, reach salvation and eternity in Heaven.
But to follow or reject the plan is the choice given to every individual.
This is the "Good News Gospel" that the Angels proclaimed when the Messiah was born.
Satan has attacked that message from the beginning, twisting it into what is now known as Calvinism or the doctrine of election.
    Predestination example 2:
Grandma saves and saves to buy her granddaughter a plane ticket to France. She has been saving for many years and the day finally arrived and she gave her granddaughter her special gift.
The granddaughter goes to the airport and asks the attendant which plane to get on. The attendant says, what is your destination on your ticket? He reads the ticket which says “Destination France.”
He also said that flight 446 is a modern jet that was especially built and destined by the airline to fly exclusively to France for its entire service life. So, this aircraft has been predestined to fly to a predestined location, France.
The girl gets on the plane and is now destined to travel to France on the predestined plane, that has been predestined by its designers, to reach its predestined, destination!
This girl will arrive at her predestined trip that her grandmother predestined years before, as long as she goes to the airport, gets on the right plane and stays on the plane!
All this took place by the choices the granddaughter made.
Predestination example 3: "The man on an island." Imagine a man has been taken to a desolate island with everything he needs to survive and given only a Bible to occupy his time. This man has no preconceived idea about religion so everything he will learn over the next 10 years he will get directly from the Bible and Gods leading.
The man accepts God’s plan of salvation and what he has learned from the Bible. He repents and is born again.
The Holy Spirit is now counselling the man from the inside. He studies intensely for the 10 years growing in his faith and walking closer and closer with God daily.
After 10 years he comes back to the mainland world and decides he needs to fellowship with other Christians as the Bible says he should.
The man approaches a number of different churches and looks through the windows from the outside and says to himself “What are they doing in there what are they saying about God?
How do you think this man will compare what he knows to be true, from what he sees going on in the mainline churches today?
Do you think he will find what the mainline denominations are teaching will be in harmony to what this true follower of Jesus Christ has learned?
    You know it won’t be!
It then occurred to me that I am that man.
I became a Christian in the winter of 1980 and didn’t go to any church for 10 years.
I studied on my own directly from the Bible.
I did go to some Bible studies, but basically learned directly by Gods leading.

It’s strange listening to this. This preacher (presumably) professes to love the truth and love. Not only that, but he loves truth and love incarnate- God. God the omniscient. God the omnipotent. God the perfectly good and just. God the standard for morality itself. God the perfectly merciful and perfectly just. And then he preaches of predestination as if it was not a contradiction in logic.
Let’s suppose that the preacher Sproul is right. Everything is predestined, and not merely seen by God from the start in his omniscience. No, everything is predestined. Adam and Eve had to be cast out of heaven. For what? For their sin? If that were the case, was it not God then who created faulty creation? Would God then not be a liar for calling the creation good? Is God then not the author of evil? If Adam sinned not of his own free will, is Adam then not a robot? Did he not sin by inescapably bad design by God? Incapable of doing anything else, like a robot Adam had no choice of doing anything else then what God, like a powerful programmer “coded” him to do?
Are humans like tennis balls thrown off the table, merely being pulled by gravity to the ground? They are hopelessly doomed to dance to their own deficient design that will end with them in hell? Are not all those who sin and go to hell responsible for their actions? If it’s not them who are responsible for their love of evil- who is? Is it not the author of life then responsible for his creations lack of free will? God created the world with both good and evil, joy and suffering for his own pleasure and amusement. How is this god perfectly good, morale and just?

The answer is absolutely zero. God, in His sovereign will, choose not only people, but an entire nation. Cain has his own Genealogy in
      Genesis 4.. all the descendants
of Cain are very evil people like

of people in the world, they are
the children of God literally and
the children of the devil literally
The children of God are called
Elect, and the children of the

      predestined to be saved, and
      all the Reprobates are
predestine to be burned in the
      Lake of Fire...
Jesus gave His Life only for the
      Sheep(Elect) John 10:15

I completely agree with him. If predestination is thrown out based on human sentiments then you need to throw out the whole Bible. The doctrine of the Trinity will boggle the mind and will appear lunatic if we used human sentiments about the triune God who is three persons and yet 1 monotheistic deity in essence. Most believers has no problem accepting the doctrine of Trinity but will vehemently oppose the doctrine of election and predestination because its in conflict with human sentiments about “fairness”. But this is plainly taught in the scriptures. If we let scriptures say what they say, then this is what it says.

Under Calvinism, there is no true rejection of Christ.
Those who reject him only do so because he first rejected them.
You can't reject something that was never offered to you in the first place.
All of these analogies are just that, analogies.
Christ said he came to save the lost, the sick, the unrighteous.
    Christ is the:
-propitiation of the sins of the world
    -the ransom for all
    -the Savior of the world
-the free gift to all men
-the One who is not willing that any should perish
-the One who loves the world
-The One who waits at the door, Knocking, for us to open it.
    This is what Scripture says.
    Belief is not a superpower.
By belief in Christ, we contribute nothing to our salvation.
By putting our faith in Christ, we do not save ourselves.
Faith in Christ saves us because of Who our faith is in. Not because of who has the faith.
There are no verses that describe the lost being predestined for conversion.
Predestination is referring to future promises for believers. Adoption, glorification, resurrection, and the inheritance are all Future promises that lay ahead for all who believe.
Election is for service, first for the purpose of bringing salvation to the world through Israel, and after the Cross, the elect continue that purpose through the spreading of the Gospel.
Unbelievers have to purpose, but when they put their faith in Christ, they are given that purpose, that great commission, to teach the Gospel to unbelievers.

@@andrewmorse2181 Negative. The gospel is VERY exclusive. Paul's audience there...."us"...are believers, not the world at large. He explicitly said in verse 1, "to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus". God foreknew His children in eternity past. That's why their names are in the Lamb's book. With regard to our "conversion" from death to life, that happens at a time of God's choosing (it's different for all of us), when He awakens us spiritually so that we may understand His word.

For who so ever Believes! Believing is not a work! If Paul were semi-palagian? God did not damn some to Hell and save others to heaven based on a whim! I find it odd his statement about when he reads scripture he doesn't find God fore knowledge or faith before regeneration? The man who was let down through the roof, the servant of the soldier, and so so many more where Jesus said thy faith has made you whole! Faith will always proceed regeneration which requires belief! Calvinist need God to regenerate them first so they don't have to repent! Notice he never mentions repentance at all! So Do you have to be saved before you can repent? I agree with you. I would just add that God is love and perfect justice. I'm not an Arminian and I don't follow to the letter their doctrines, I prefer to stick to what the Bible says and not defend any particular doctrinal stream.
I have to say that I've found R.C and John MacArthur's teachings very helpful. I disagree in some areas and I totally agree with them in many others but I do consider them brothers in Christ.
That being said, I think that the particular verses that R.C used are a little bit out of proper context. I believe that their intentions are genuine and come from a place of trying to give God all the honor and not take away any credit from Him but I don't think that holding to a non-calvinist view would compromise God's credit for undeserved salvation through faith alone.
Here are some verses you might want to consider:
1 Corinthians 9:27: " But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, *I myself should be a castaway.* "
Hebrews 12:15: "Looking diligently *lest any man fail of the grace of God;* lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;"
John 1:12: "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:"
And the clearest verse that I've found so far. In my interpretation, this describes people who have been bought by the Lord but yet, they will deny Him. In Calvinist terms: They whom God predestined and whom He decided to give His grace to, rejected that grace.
2 Peter 2:1: "But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even *denying the Lord that bought them,* and bring upon themselves swift destruction."

      Dear brother ,
Calvinism /reformed theology as well as Predestination is consistent with the scriptures. God predetermined who would be blameless in Christ before the foundation of The world so that His purpose according to election would stand. "For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love" Ephesians1:4 i see that bible verse but I don't see a bible verse that says for He chose us to be in hell before the foundation of the world theres no verse like that .listen my brother , All of humanity hates God naturally because their sin, its not like some are indifferent and some want to know God but cant ,its this , in your fallen state ,guilty in Adam, you hate God ,you dont want the things of God and you want your own selfish desires . and God ,in His sovereign grace has chosen whom He has chosen to save through the person of Christ and doesn't Christ say "unless you beilieve that I am He ,you will die in your sins"? But doesn't He also say this "whosoever comes to Me I will by no means cast away "? that promise is to all but people that haven't been Regenerated or born again by God's grace through His Holy spirit cannot come because they will not come, they cannot come ,because they will not come since they hate God ,do you see ? And if God doesn't send the wicked to Hell righteously for thier sin then the alternative is God is trying to give everyone grace and save everyone and some are still going to hell anyway....that's not the God of the Bible nor the God of the book of revaluation of Jesus Christ ,i see a Holy Holy Holy, Sovereign, Just, God who imparts common grace to all men,a God Who's will cannot be thwarted executing Righteousness Through damning the wicked to eternal punishment due to their sin and His Righteousness or executing Righteousness Through mercy based upon the Finished perfect work of Christ allowing the elect to enter eternal life and no one can say to Him "what have you done " because He has only done right and will only do what is right ,He doesn't change Hes immutable. God doesn't choose for someone to go to hell ,it's that God chooses not to give mercy and even in that brother ,He's not obligated to.The fact that a righteous God would show mercy to 1 sinner is miraculous and extraordinary.
The mercy that grants one to come to Christ ,God is not obligated to give and if you think He's obligated to give it or wrong for not giving it after someone has sinned which all have, thats evil brother and I hope you don't think that , to expect grace when its not deserved. If we possessed deserved grace we would be able to boast but "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God- not by works, so that no one can boast."
This is what's so glorious about God ;God is not obligated to give grace to any man or woman and has every reason not to but He chooses to impart grace anyways through His Son in spite of their sin....and then you have the promise from the Lord Jesus Christ Almighty Himself "And this is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all those he has given me, but raise them up at the last day." i tell you this because I love you brother
      Sincerely a brother in Christ

God "bearing with great patience the objects of His wrath prepared for destruction" is related with His longsuffering of those who do not repent. This teachings sounds so accurate and so super spiritual; but R. C. Sproul you have messed up the doctrine of predestination according to what the pattern of the scriptures state.
    * The bible is written as a covenant book; and according to Heb 8-7-8 both the old and the new covenants were made with the house of Israel and the house of Judea.
The covenant was not made with the Calvinists nor with any other church franchise of God; such as the full gospel churches; charismatics or traditional churches.
If predestination was established by God before He created all of creation; then it is pointless for Jesus who is speaking on behalf of God to tell His disciples to preach the gospel to anyone; and it is a total waste of time for Jesus to die on the cross for the sins of mankind; because in the doctrine of predestination God has already chosen for everyone; whether one goes to hell or to heaven.
The way R.C Sproul and other pastors and theologians explained PREDESTINATION makes the words of Jesus a total contradict of what he says God accomplished with predestination.
    * The doctrine of predestination must be viewed in the context of the old covenant and the new covenants.
The foundation of the WORLD is the Greek word KOSMOU.
    * KOSMOU is the Greek word used in the bible for the first generation of Jewish old covenant people who are following God in Christ. (This is the 42 generation that is missing in the genealogy of Jesus in Matt 1-1-17; when you count themthey are only 21)
    * And this started on Pentecost in Acts 2--1-4; and Paul called this the new creation in Christ in 2 Cor 5-17.
    * The term PREDESTINATION is only referring to the first generation of Jewish believers in Christ who were alive before the cross; and they were predestined after they were born in the old covenant to be predestined in Christ for the purpose of the transition from the old covenant into the new covenant in the time period between the cross and AD70.
    * People who are alive in today's society who are following God in Christ were not predestined in Christ simply because they were not alive before the cross to be used in the transition from the old covenant into the covenant.
    * It is so simple so understand predestination when it is taught in the pattern of the covenant.
    * ALL OF TODAYS church doctrines are taught outside of the pattern of the covenant; that is why there is so much confusion and false doctrines in today's churches.
    For example.
If a 25yr old man writes a letter to the lady he has proposed to marry: Saying; I'm looking forward to our wedding day; our honeymoon; buying a house; settling down and having children; and her 90yr old granny gets this letter and reads it thinking it's for her? This is an example of the way people interpret the scriptures; not all the scriptures in the bible are written to us or for us in today's churches. And the more respected these theologians are; the more damage they cause when they do not teach the scriptures according to the correct pattern
    *

The hoaxer Christian writers, who fabricated the resurrection hoax by making up fake testimonials that the disciples have witnessed an empty tomb & a risen Jesus, didn’t know that a sin-sacrifice-resurrection story implies a superstitious God who values blood-sacrifice, which was common back then - e.g. sacrificing a goat for a new home. If predestination was just God looking thru his cosmic telescope into the future and see who will accept the gospel and who wont, and then “elects” those who accepts then this is not election but just rubber-stamping. In essence that rubber stamping has no meaning or purpose because according to the same logic it is the persons deciding that saves them. So what was the point of the rubber-stamping then? Its not even needed and is worthless. Its just a waste of divine time on God’s part. Yet the scriptures teach in Romans 8:30
30And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.
Notice here that before even calling the predestination is already there. Man’s decision comes between being called and being justified. Because his response is to the call which is the call of the gospel to repent and accept Christ. Saying that election is based on the response is NOT election. It goes against the meaning of the word i.e. “to elect” and reduces it to mere rubberstamping. Because what purpose does election serve if it depends on man’s decision.

@@singwithpowerinfo5815 The Holy Bible is no ordinary book. It is not a human book. The Bible is God's inspired and infallible Word-God's Book. It is the Book which God has given to His people to teach them the Truth which they must believe and the godly life which they must live.
That is why the Bible is so important for every believer. Without the Holy Scriptures the believer has no Word of God. He has no standard of what is the Truth and what is the lie, what is righteous and what is wicked.
The words in the Holy Bible are spiritual from the Holy Spirit which belongs to Jesus Christ. They are written by God and they take effect when sown in a person's heart. They overcome our flesh.
The truth of Christianity comes from the Bible. Every essential doctrine is found in Scripture. They are not found by an individual revelation or tradition.
They concentrate on God-His nature and His dealing with mankind in relation to our salvation. How one is saved and forgiven of their sins and brought into a relationship with God.
The divine inspiration of Scripture: the assurance of the Bible (66 Books) being infallible and inerrant as the Word of God having the power of God. Without the infallibility and inerrancy of scripture, we could not know who Jesus is or what He has done.
Jesus Christ is the eternal God, being both God and man, lived a sinless life. The death of Christ on the cross for the sins of mankind being God's only means for salvation.
As Jesus pointed to the Scripture constantly for the fulfillment of what he did. Repentance and confession of own sins are both needed before any one can be born again.
The spiritual birth of God in His Son, but nothing more can be added than that which is included in the word "believe". It is therefore enough to believe in Jesus Christ for ones salvation.
Without the infallibility and inerrancy of Scripture, we could not know who Jesus is or what he has done. The Bible being the word of God-infallible signifies the quality of neither misleading nor being misled and so safeguards in categorical terms the truth that Holy Scripture is a sure, safe and reliable rule and guide in all matters.
Similarly, inherent signifies the quality of being free from all falsehood or mistakes that safeguards the truth of Holy Scripture being entirely true and trustworthy in all its claims.
God moved upon holy men who walked with him and obeyed him, they wrote the scripture that is delivered to us today. The Lord made certain that His revelation about Himself was recorded without error in the original documents.
Scripture alone is said to be "God-breathed" or inspired. The Gospel is the center point of God and man being reconciled to have fellowship.
The Gospel-Resurrection Christ illumination is the ministry of the Holy Spirit to believers teaching them all things from the close canon of Scripture through study. A believer is to be equipped by the Word for the purpose of glorifying God in our lives.

It’s comments like these…who/what are you helping when you post this kind of comment? There’s no discussion of the video’s contents, no reference in the Bible to refute them. You just say “I don’t think God is like that” and move on.

@@enfire2146couldn't agree more. Romans 9: 8-14 confirms exactly just this with Old Testament examples how beautiful the Holy Spirit inspired word of God was written by the Apostle Paul. Love you Lord 🤍 Thank you for your grace and mercy wich neither we wretches deserve. In Your Son's name our Savior and King Yeshua. Amen 🤍✝️

Still makes zero sense. Calvinism teaches people are chosen for heaven or hell before the foundation of the world. If not a single person shares the gospel, the people chosen for heaven will still go to heaven, and those not chosen are still going to hell. It is literally a done deal. The chosen won't be lost if they don't hear the gospel, and those not chosen will still be damned even if they do hear the gospel. Is the reason Jesus told us to share the gospel simply a means to rub it in to the lost that hell is their future and nothing can change that?

Exactly, in Calvinism, there is no need for Christ at all.

    Sorry dr. Sproul,
Spiritually dead does not mean that you are totally dead that you cannot respond to the call of God, but it means you lost fellowship with God, but you can sill answer the call of God...
