I agree with your Zippo pouch. I use that exact same one in black and carry it everyday and I'm not a smoker! But I've been the hero at birthday parties a few times when they need to light the candles! I'm also a huge fan of hydroflask. They've become pricey, but they're great!
HERO Clip, is a game changer! It all started with travel and using them when you don’t want to lay down your pack on the bathroom floor at the airport or just outside at a coffee shop. Next would be my wallet “open sea leather” many like the Houbi I’m more of a fan of the 50/50 a bit more in price but worth it. Last GO Ruck, with that said I’m a Heritage fan not the mole standard version. Wax Canvas enough said. Happy Holidays Everyone, hope everyone has a great and safe one… Marine X keep them coming into the the New Year, wish you continue growth.
Great tools, I also have many of these Items as a part of my everyday carry. By the way. Even though I'm a nonsmoker, I've (for many-many years) carried a few zippo lighters with me daily, two have the butane inserts, one has the combo traditional flame and butane insert, and the other is custom actual silver zippo that I keep in my front shirt pocket that I keep a regular zippo insert in (that one is very special to me). Three are in the same cases that you showed in your wonderfully informative video just now, and the other (the pure silver one) is just loose in my front left shirt pocket daily. Those who've known me for many years know that my carry is vast, but I actually (like yourself) use much of my EDC daily. I'm a long-haul truck driver (for around 14 years now), and many of my tools are just super functional in my work from day to day, like my well used Leatherman Surge, my flashlights, and on and on...in this time of year, I'll use my butane zippo lighter to unfreeze the huge pad lock 🔐 on the back of the trailer as it continually freezes 🥶 shut and the key won't even turn when I get to the consignee. I'll hold the butane to certain areas for a few seconds...and voilà, it opens right up.
As always X, really enjoyed this. I've been loving my Hero Clips this year. Multi-tool of the year for me is the Skeletool CX. Flashlight that's got the most use for me has been the conveniently sized Olight i3T. I'm also loving the Warrior Mini II, even if it's not as practical for EDC. It gets a lot done around my property. Been using the brass Fisher Space Pen a lot (plenty of patina, patina, patina!) and I've been loving the Moleskin XS (extra small) pocket books for basic note-list making. Loved this video. Thanks again!
The item without which I'd feel a little naked, because I use it Every. Day. is definitely a flashlight. The one I've used most often rides in my shirt pocket, and lately has been a Sofirn SP10 Pro. It takes any AA (1.2V up to 3.7V) and is bright enough for any typical task for an EDC flashlight.
Hey Bro, want to thank you for the community you foster with your channel! Top tier entertainer and amazing production value and content. I appreciate what you put out!
The items I've been carrying lately are a folding blade, small flashlight, multi-tool, chapstick, bic lighter (don't smoke), wallet, shades, cellphone and sub-compact 9mm. I will usually rotate almost all of these items since I have too much crap!! 😄 I do want to add a hanky with a micro cloth which I currently do not own.
Nice list, one item that always ends up in my kit is a deck of cards, ordering some hero clips to add in my kit, I usually have anywhere from 2 to 4 carabiner on me anyway.. Great info.
I’m an iWatch user due to its crash detection/emergency service features (I mountain bike and have crashed more than once). I personally like S-shaped clips as a bike-camper/car camper. For knives, I love my Opinel #6 or #8 and my Leatherman, but also carry a Mora when I camp since it’s single tang. Probably very bicycle specific, but I won’t leave home with my bike without my Crankbrother’s multi-tool. It has everything I need to fix my bike and more. My pen of choice is the Fischer space pen in brass. I also will never leave home without a power bank and cables.
Knife is Benchmade Freak or Bailout, Flashlight is Streamlight microstream usb did carry the aaa one for years, Write in the rain orange metal pen, Wallet, Gerber Suspension, G Shock GBA-800 then keys, cellphone, mini bic lighter, chew can, gerber prybird and a Kershaw Brace neck knife. Yes I carry alot.
I always have a leatherman wave, in its belt sheath, at all times! Even Christmas morning. Those annoying robot installed straps and misc. parts that need assembling or removed from the gifts. Gotta have it!
I enjoy Smoke Facotry sticks, while working in Florida I was able to visit a solid cigar shop and Davidoff is the best brand of cigar I’ve smoked so far. No.2 and No.3 were my favorite but pricey 70 for a box of 5 but I bought enough to get really good discounts.
Love the hero clips. Recently discovered an alternative called "Clipa2" - much quicker to use but they do not look as solid as the Hero Clips. Perhaps one to take a look at in future?
I've definitely had my fair share of naked runs without my Google pixel ear buds! If I don't have them, I am completely a wreck 😂 They are must haves!!
I edc my lipbalm, a dedicated knife (I have a few in rotation),the heroclip mini, rovyvon A8X, and my leatherman juice XE6, and a wide tooth plastic comb. Those are my non negotiables. I also always carry some variation of a mini walking pharmacy/medkit along with the obvious cellphone/wallet/keys trifecta. I'm a chronic overpacker though and trying to avoid future back problems and forcing myself to pare down so my purse isn't so big and heavy.
My EDC I’ve discovered the need of an insulated water bottle 👍🏼👍🏼 also a Fenix E-12 light & an older original blackened Leatherman in a leather scaber along with a Ken Onion Kershaw
I agree with the carabiner clips. I carry a Microtec OTF UTX-85. Also, a Swiss Army knife. Most importantly a nice rechargeable flashlight like Nitecore or Klarus. Microfiber cloth as they come in handy for everything. Extra undies and socks always a good choice. P.S. I have the Claymore and Bugout Benchmades great knives I just prefer the Microtecs.
Klean Kanteen is my go to bottle. I always carry a multi tool and another knife too. It's either the Leatherman Free P4 or a Swiss Army Knife. Right now I've got an Opinel No 7 in my pocket but I've been rotating that, a Benchmade Bugout or a Morakniv Eldris. My flashlight is a Streamlight Stylus Pro. I like it cause it runs off AAAs and lasts a long time. I still carry a small Rite in the Rain notebook and pen because I don't remember notes I don't write down.
Thanks for this. I’ve been looking for a way to hang a doggie bag off the edge of a restaurant table. The bags take up too much space on the tabletop and I don’t like putting my food on the floor. Those Hero Clips might be just the ticket.

I have been accused of carrying too much on the daily. As a dad, I always have an assortment of wipes and bandaids, etc., but I can't stand going out without breath mints and hand sanitizer, so an Altoids Mini tin and a 1oz refillable plastic bottle became a constant for me. I know it won't get me much respect but I carry a Wetools Multi-tool (same as a Bibury and Mossy Oak) off Amazon and have been surprised how much abuse it has taken for a cheapo. I have resisted a Leatherman for years simply because I don't like the non-standard driver bits. Along with a knife, I have gotten used to carrying a WorkPro button lock utility knife. Ummmm yeah but in your other recent video you said ditch the multitool? And pen/pad? And I get the hero clips, but I actually spend the $10 bucks or so for a legitimate carabiner.
😀😀😀cool
I have that same Casio G shock⌚🙄
I’m confused. Just discovered your channel and found a vid about not carrying a pen in edc
Hey hey. Yup that video is saying "if you don't use it, don't carry it". I use the stuff I carry
@@MarineX gotcha. I understand and appreciate that. I like your vids!
In the other vid you said to the multi tool guys “you’re not that handy” and I very much appreciated that.

Do you know how many times you said the word I😮. Me personally prefer creators who talk about the product pros and cons not your likes and dislikes😢

Hello Sir, first an foremost would like to wish you an yours a very Merry Christmas, happy holidays, an New Year's, I love all my zippos, an have a leather belt holder for the zippo, an love it, I am an old school edc man an between that my phone case with belt clip are used daily. Thank you your cool channel!
Pretty sure I remember you saying that pens are useless nowadays in one of your recent videos im surprised to see them on this list as impactful
The point of that video was saying that if the item is not useful to you to stop using it at the very end, I said if you still need it use it.
