  • My sawmill needed a place to keep its vehicles and so an old Kibri-kit came up. It is labled “Toolshed for Forklift” and was bought second hand. The set is a classic and as such rather uncomplicated to assemble, but still contains some rather interesting details, especially around the storage space on the first floor. I weathered the kit and added details not least shelves from Bar Mills. Especially after dark they give a nice effect when the Viessmann lights are on. Please visit my blog for more about the sawmill and my plans for a Danish layout set in the mid-1950s: www.sundborg.wordpress.com.

Thanks! I find it very inspiring to look at old pictures to get the details and the atmosphere around the model right.

a very nice building. Maybe some spots of oil on the floor, where the lorry usually is kept overnight. The floor is a bit to clean. Otherwise a great video. Thanks.

Good idea with the oil spots! I tried adding a few but you can hardly see them, so I guess I should go all in with some glossy black.
