Model Conveyor Belts from Kibri - Assembling and Weathering

Movable conveyor belts were not exactly a new invention in the 1950s, but they became far more common in Denmark after WWII. This set from Kibri (8606 Förderbänder und Schüttsilo) is actually just an assortment of conveyer belt from two other Kibri sets, the “Kibri 9954 Kiesaufbereitung” and the “Kibri 38536 Kohlehändler”. This means that the elements do not necessarily go together which is why I decided to turn some elements into a train load for a flatcar while other elements will probably find their way to some industry or sidetrack on my coming layout.
