Take into consideration he was not a well man. Slurring his speech when talking. But when he starting singing it was other worldly. The power,…. The passion. He killed it. Only the king. 👑👑👑!!!
Even to his final days... Elvis gave his all and best to all of his fans. This is a treasure that Elvis left the world to enjoy. How many today can match his gift to the world? FEW and FAR in between. Thank you, sir, for your reaction. Thank you, Lord, for giving Elvis to the world. ✌🏽🙏🏼🌎🌍🌏
THANK YOU FOR DOING THIS❤️ Elvis inspires you to be a better human being❤️ You bring me and other Elvisfans a lot of Joy and Love❤️ Welcome to the Elvisfamily..It is filled with LOVE and FUN❤️😉
I was born in 1960, and I never really took Elvis seriously until I saw the movie Elvis. Now I'm starting to really appreciate his vocal talents his stage presence and his interactions and respect of his band members
Elvis was not like the other singers of his generation, his instrument was his voice. He may never have had the talent to compose or be a virtuoso of any instrument, but no one equaled the perfection of his voice.
His voice it’s really good for my soul, goosebumps each time I listen his interpretation. I think six weeks after this show, the king of rock and roll is gone for a better world 😢.
This was the last performance he did before he died. Sounds like he sang his last eulogy. I never get tired of listening to him singing this song. It makes me feel so sad 😢😢
It wasn't his last performance. This was from June 21, 1977, at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center in Rapid City, South Dakota, exactly 8 weeks before he was taken from us. His last performance was June 26, 1977, at Market Square Arena in Indianapolis, Indiana, 5 days later. ❤
Even though Elvis was spiraling here…unwell, high and addicted to prescription drugs, hence the slurred speech, he was able to perform this incredible rendition of Unchained Melody live, while playing the piano. He passed 6 weeks later.
Great to see you feel this song and your genuine joy at hearing and seeing Elvis singing as always, with his heart and soul. It is one of many gems. Do listen to his gospel songs , his personal favourite genre of music. He won a Grammy for his version of How Great Thou Art and a Grammy for the Album of that name. You’ll love it. Thanks for finding Elvis and bringing him to your subscribers and all us Elvis fans , I’ve loved him now since I was 3 and heard his voice on the radio, 64 years ago!! 🙏👌💕🕺
CONTINUED.... UNCHAINED MELODY Rapid City - June 21, 1977 th-cam.com/video/ANcq2A-WezI/w-d-xo.htmlsi=cazoto0vGy7Begbj
NOTE : This performance was exactly 8 weeks before Elvis passed, on August 16, 1977. He was very sick at the time, yet he still got on stage and performed his heart out. It took me a long time to watch this performance because I knew it was so close to when we lost him, but I'm glad I eventually decided to watch it because it's an unbelievable performance. Still heartbreaking to watch, yet so damn beautiful. You can't take your eyes off him. I cry every time I watch this. I'm crying just typing this now because I'm thinking about this performance.

NOTE: Both of these performances are incredible, however the first link (Live 1973 Best Version), will probably be the one to do a reaction to, but don't dismiss the second link (Aloha From Hawaii, Live In Honolulu - 1973) because it's also incredible.

NOTE : At the 2:30 mark, Elvis says "The suit was too tight" as he is going down to his knees. Most TH-camrs seem to miss that part, but I think it's hilarious because it's not part of the song. His voice is also incredible here…I mean, his voice was always incredible, but y'know what I mean.

Gracias por tu reacción al Rey. Nadie como Elvis. Deberían volver a tocarlo en todos lados. Urge.
Elvis makes fun of his piano playing but he actually could play classical music. He loved to play Beethoven's "Moonlight Sonata." We lost this man way too early. Your reaction was besutiful. I cry every time I hear him sing this song and most every song he sings. Bless you. R.I.P Elvis you are still so missed. ❤❤❤
this wasn't his last performance this was the cbs special that was comprised of two performances one in omaha on june 19th and another in rapid city on june 21st it aired oct 6 weeks after his death this was his last televised performance but not his last performance on stage his last performance was on june 26th 1977 at market square arena in indianapolis indiana
I'd love to see your reaction to Deep Purple Child In Time BBC live recording there are three different recordings, one is the BBC version the second version is from the album deep purple and rock, and the third version is from Deep Purple made in japan. Opinions vary as to which one is the best but the BBC version allows you to see the artists up close and see them working together in harmony
Can you react to "VALSHE - BUTTERFLY CORE"? She has a unique beautiful voice. Oh by the way, Valshe looks like a boy, but she is a woman. Valshe is my favorite singer! She is the one who made me fall in love with music. 😍🔥💕
There are many documentaries out there about Elvis, but I have narrowed it down to four clips for you. These documentaries showcase who Elvis really was as a person.
NOTE : Documentary detailing Elvis extraordinary generosity. Featuring Linda Thompson and many more people who knew and loved Elvis; Jerry Schilling, Marion Cocke, and Myrna Smith.
I know this documentary is just on an hour, but it is worth the watch.
THE KIND OF KINDNESS th-cam.com/video/CrJ1c9tm-C0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=52vfzLnHZqnkpTUp
NOTE : Elvis Presley was not only the King of rock and roll. He was also a kind person who did his best to treat others the way he would have wanted to be treated. We could use more people in this world like Elvis.
This is only a 6:30 clip, but it demonstrates just how kind and generous Elvis was.
ELVIS PRESLEY & THE BLACK COMMUNITY - THAT ECHO WILL NEVER DIE (PART ONE) th-cam.com/video/xd1pXw1DmsA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=qU3JpiGcBuNbsjm-
NOTE : For many years Elvis has been accused of stealing "black music" and of being a racist. There are still some people today, 46 years after Elvis' passing, who believe this to be true. These rumours were passed down from their family members, and without doing any research for themselves, have instead chosen to believe these lies.
I have watched many TH-camrs react to Elvis for the first time, who are open about their feelings toward him, saying that they believe he was racist and stole black music. Then they watch this documentary and it's a beautiful thing to witness how their mindset changes, how they admit to being wrong about him, and to watch them go from hating Elvis to absolutely loving him is so satisfying.
This documentary features Al Green, Stevie Wonder, Rufus Thomas, Sammy Davis. Jr, and BB King, who all put those rumours to rest. More people need to see this documentary so they can see who Elvis really was….a kind, generous, and loving person to all.
ELVIS PRESLEY & THE BLACK COMMUNITY - THAT ECHO WILL NEVER DIE (PART TWO) th-cam.com/video/H17X71JVwKY/w-d-xo.htmlsi=7RYf13MD5_-Yl4lT
NOTE : This is the second part to the documentary, which features James Brown, Cissy Houston (Whitney Houston's mom, who was one of Elvis' backup singers), and Elvis' cook, Mary Jenkins.
INTERVIEWS
You will notice that during interviews, Elvis would take his time answering questions. He would really think about his answers and would try to give the interviewer a detailed answer to their questions. His answers also showcase, not only how intelligent Elvis was, but also how humble, thoughtful, funny and down-to-earth he really was.
He is also just so beautiful to watch. His smile when he is asked a funny question, his smirk, which is usually followed by a lick of his lips, a readjustment in his posture and a touching of his face when he is asked a question that he doesn't quite want to answer because it makes him a little uncomfortable, and his frown when he is asked an inappropriate question, which he usually answers with a very polite decline or a sarcastic, yet still polite, comment.
ELVIS LIVE INTERVIEW - JULY 1, 1956 th-cam.com/video/z1f_V32Ojb0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=XA8gVevP0vxwqSCg
NOTE : This was Elvis' first, and only, live talk show interview. Hy Gardner Calling!' was a famous talk show in New York. Using a spilt-screen format Gardner called his interviewees at their homes. Here, Elvis is talking from his New York hotel room.
ELVIS PRESLEY PRESS CONFERENCE (1960) th-cam.com/video/TkUytgLrhuA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=7qdY9rlpLqiErhPh
NOTE : This is Elvis' post army interview. He was stationed in Germany between 1958 and 1960, and had just returned home when this interview was done.
ELVIS WOULD NOT BRAG AND WAS SUPER HUMBLE (1960) th-cam.com/video/ixR4VtND5o4/w-d-xo.htmlsi=5n38kJSDpkYYmygy
NOTE : Johnny Depp once said that "Money doesn't change anyone, it reveals them." This rings true to Elvis Presley. As a child, even though he grew up poor, he was very kind and humble, so it's no surprise that as an adult, he continued to be kind, and humble.

ELVIS INTERVIEW - MARCH 3. 1960 - FORT DIX, NEW JERSEY th-cam.com/video/K4EqNJlM9aM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=4aT1tXP0vkDwqwpU
NOTE : The sound isn't great, but the picture is clear and if you can just try to listen to the interview, you will love it. He was only 25 years old here, but mature, witty and very funny, humble and down-to-earth.
ELVIS INTERVIEW - SEPTEMBER 22, 1958 - BROOKLYN, NEW YORK th-cam.com/video/tX6SjU1-7WA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=mJn5bdtkBhJy_FpK
NOTE : The known footage of the "newsreel interview" compiled together - this was essentially a "best of" of the press conference Elvis held upon his arrival to Brooklyn Army Terminal the same day a while earlier. It was done to get some 'moving pictures' of Elvis to show in the news before he headed for Germany.
Parts of the interview (audio) was released on the "Elvis Sails" EP (EPA-4325) in November 1958.
ELVIS ENTERS THE ARMY - MARCH 24, 1958 - NEGATIVE TRIMS (1958 FRANK KOZA COLLECTION) th-cam.com/video/3XwKHBSuQEA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=aw9hfrY_y9FLYeBA
NOTE : Elvis Presley is processed into the Army on March 24, 1958 at Fort Chaffee, Arkansas. He talks to reporters, fills out paperwork, and gets a physical examination. Elvis' parents, Vernon and Gladys Presley, are seen briefly, looking dour. The day was dubbed "black Monday" for his fans by the press. Elvis chose to enter regular Army service as a private, rather than joining Special Services, in which he would have entertained troops.

NOTE : Silent news outtakes from 1958 capture Army Private Elvis Presley reporting to his first day at Fort Chaffee after being inducted into the military.
FUNNY ELVIS PRESLEY
Elvis was a very funny person. He loved hearing jokes, and loved telling jokes. He enjoyed playing pranks on people, and didn't mind in the least if people played pranks on him. He loved to mess about during rehearsals and even on stage during live performances, changing lyrics to make them funny, playing around with the crowd, telling jokes and making funny comments that had people laughing so hard.
He wasn't afraid to make mistakes, and mock or laugh at himself. It was all about having a fun time.
ARE YOU LAUGHING TONIGHT th-cam.com/video/8oK0Wl7_MXk/w-d-xo.htmlsi=iLaQKGIUNpn7F8I1
NOTE : Elvis had such an infectious laugh, that when he started laughing, it made everyone around him burst into laughter, even if they had no idea what he was laughing about. You will find yourself smiling and laughing as you listen to this clip.
Elvis would often change lyrics of his songs to make them funny, and he did this mostly with his song "Are You Lonesome Tonight".
The story goes : Elvis was performing the song "Are You Lonesome Tonight" and changed the lyrics from "Do you gaze at your doorstep and picture me there" to "Do you gaze at your bald head and wish you had hair".
At this point, apparently an audience member stood up, took his wig off, and started swaying to the music while holding his wig in his hand. This of course, set Elvis off laughing, and once he started laughing, he couldn't stop.
There is no footage of this, but there was audio recorded, and that audio of Elvis losing it on stage, went to number one in the UK. Only Elvis could get a number one hit by laughing.
ALSO, PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS THE STORY BEHIND THE PERFORMANCE THAT HAS BEEN GOING AROUND FOR YEARS, HOWEVER, IT'S BELIEVED THAT THE ACTUAL STORY BEHIND THE LAUGHING INCIDENT WAS TOLD IN A BOOK WRITTEN BY SOMEONE WHO WAS ACTUALLY THERE, ONE OF ELVIS' CLOSE FRIENDS. I HAVE NOT READ THE BOOK, BUT IF IT'S TRUE, THEN THE ABOVE STORY WITH THE WIG IS FICTITIOUS. PLEASE KEEP THAT IN MIND.

Hi. I see you reacted to "You've Lost That Lovin' Feeling "by The Righteous Brothers. Elvis covered this song, and it's absolutely phenomenal. Please check it out. I have linked it for you below. Talking about links, i can send you so many Elvis links to choose from . I do it for a lot of reactors so they don't need to search for the correct performances. I would be happy to send them to you. From live stage performances , to live television performances ( there is a much better version of Hound Dog I can send you. The performance that got Elvis into some trouble that ended up with him not being allowed to be filmed from the waist down). I can send you the correct version that was the live performance and not the one that someone put the stuido audio over. The live is so much better because he does something at the end that not even his band members knew he was going to do. I also have some interview footage and very short documentaries that will help you to understand who Elvis really was as a person. You will learn how kind, and generous he was and how much he loved people and his fans, and how he stood up for the black community in a time where racial tentions were at a high. He really had the purest of hearts and there are so many stories out there from people who knew and loved him. He was also extremely funny and loved to prank people. He treated everyone equally and never put himself above others. Please allow me to send you links. I promise, you will not be disappointed. In the mealtime, here is the link for "You've Lost That Lovin' Feeling " by Elvis ❤ th-cam.com/video/QTLjMiEJwq4/w-d-xo.htmlsi=9xrQdSxmy2MmJx7n
I thought I may as well just send you the links I have been talking about.
Maybe everyone in the comments section can look through the list and say which performances they feel you should react to, or you can look through the list yourself and choose what you would like to react to.
The links I send you are based on the ones I see reactors do, and of course, the many, many requests for these performances, so I know which performances people want to see reactors to.
To the Elvis fans reading this..If I have left any performances out that you feel they should react to, please feel free to add it to the list, along with the link, so it will be easier for them to find the performance you want. Also feel free to correct any of my notes on performances. As you know, many stories have been told about Elvis, as well as background stories for performances, etc. I have noted what I have heard over the many, many years of being a fan, but if someone has anything to add to it, or has heard something else about these performances, please feel free to add to the comments. But please, no arguments about who is right and who is wrong, unless you were actually there and witnessed it for yourselves. Thanks EP Fans.
If you have reacted to any of these, then you can just ignore them. :)
There are a few, so I will have to split them into, maybe, seven different comments.
I will start with the live performances.
Enjoy

FAME AND FORTUNE Frank Sinatra Show (1960) th-cam.com/video/n1ivuzluDKs/w-d-xo.htmlsi=iGNR5f5czTSysNhw NOTE : The quality isn't that great, but at least it's the original audio. There are clearer versions on TH-cam, but those all have the studio audio over them, but it's better to hear the original because Elvis does a few things in this performance that you won't hear with the other ones.
FEVER Rehearsal Concert in Hawaii January 12, 1973 th-cam.com/video/m78XjnM0Sbs/w-d-xo.htmlsi=mcGR1EoZkW4vFblc NOTE : There is another performance for this song, but this one is the better one in my opinion. Not saying the other one isn't great, because it is. Take note how the audience scream every time Elvis just moves his legs or upper body.
FUNNY HOW TIME SLIPS AWAY 1972 th-cam.com/video/UktTsMx7GlE/w-d-xo.htmlsi=5WRA97ytgL_zygwV NOTE : If you watch carefully, after Elvis hands the security his scarf to give to a fan, he walks to the side of the stage and throws something out into the audience. This was a ring he threw out. He often did this and apparently, in the last few years of his life (the 70's), he had purchased more than $700,000 dollars worth of jewellery, and gave most of it away. You might notice in some of his performances, he has tape on his fingers. His manager, used to make him put the tape on so when he is interacting with the audience, they weren't able to slip a ring off his finger. However, in some shows, he would tell them to leave the tape off a certain finger, then they knew he was going to give that ring away.
G.I. BLUES From The Film, G.I. Blues (1960) th-cam.com/video/Dxrv0ylvm4E/w-d-xo.htmlsi=MDREqV9NbHWtSTBa NOTE : This was the best quality I could find. GOT A LOT O' LIVIN' TO DO From The Film, Loving You (1957) th-cam.com/video/zJzcRv-F3Gc/w-d-xo.htmlsi=w-4r4XDmjjSX104D NOTE : Elvis's mom and dad, Gladys Presley and Vernon Presley made an appearance in the film. You will see them on the right when Elvis jumps down into the isle & stops by them. Gladys is wearing a blue dress and Vernon is next to her. The video ends with a slow-mo, and then pauses right on his parents. After Gladys passed away on August 14, 1958, Elvis never watched this film again, because it hurt him too much to see his mom on screen.

HEARTBREAK HOTEL '68 Comeback Special th-cam.com/video/WYwMq1VPV7I/w-d-xo.htmlsi=2M8EOkMHXMqc7VPN NOTE : Elvis loved to play around during his performances, which you will see a lot of while on your Elvis journey. In this one, he loses his breath and forgets the lyrics.
HOUND DOG The Milton Berle Show (1956) th-cam.com/video/MMmljYkdr-w/w-d-xo.htmlsi=947KDjMILESVhtGx NOTE : Elvis liked to change things up a bit on stage, so his band had to watch him to see what he would do next. Apparently, in this clip, his band didn't know he would slow the song down at the end, but being the professionals they were, they managed to fall in with what Elvis was doing. It sounds like he's done performing, but keep watching, he isn't done.
HOW GREAT THOU ART 1972 th-cam.com/video/9tg-dcj9w4k/w-d-xo.htmlsi=qBi-t-n8Y9O-hvfZ NOTE : Elvis sang more than one genre of music. He did Rockabilly, Rock, Country, Blues and even Gospel. This clips is one of his gospel songs, as I'm sure you have worked out by the name.

The greatest of All Times
He was amazing and beautiful. His voice was always fantastic, and his heart was made of gold.
Just the king
He is the one and only his voice never failed him
Elvis always the best. His voice just got better and better
The KING. Love your reaction. More please 💕💕💕💕
I'll never get tired of listening to Elvis!
we love you elvis
we miss you so
much 🤍🕊️
Elvis presley the best. He could sing every song in the book
Take into consideration he was not a well man. Slurring his speech when talking. But when he starting singing it was other worldly. The power,…. The passion. He killed it. Only the king. 👑👑👑!!!
We all miss elvis still In our hearts😢❤
Even to his final days... Elvis gave his all and best to all of his fans. This is a treasure that Elvis left the world to enjoy. How many today can match his gift to the world? FEW and FAR in between. Thank you, sir, for your reaction. Thank you, Lord, for giving Elvis to the world. ✌🏽🙏🏼🌎🌍🌏
This Performance Gets Me SO Emotional every time!!! Great Reaction - We Love You Elvis!!!!!
His last performance before passing and sounded the best he'd ever sounded, IMO
The King
❤Elvis Forever
Roy Hamilton sang this in 56. Elvis really respected Roy
THANK YOU FOR DOING THIS❤️ Elvis inspires you to be a better human being❤️ You bring me and other Elvisfans a lot of Joy and Love❤️ Welcome to the Elvisfamily..It is filled with LOVE and FUN❤️😉
Elvis definitely had a style of his own, great reaction as usual ❤
I was born in 1960, and I never really took Elvis seriously until I saw the movie Elvis. Now I'm starting to really appreciate his vocal talents his stage presence and his interactions and respect of his band members
Great reaction! Thanks for honoring Elvis!
This man's voice ,was kissed by god ,gone to soon ,but his memory will live forever in our hearts ,and soul
Elvis was not like the other singers of his generation, his instrument was his voice. He may never have had the talent to compose or be a virtuoso of any instrument, but no one equaled the perfection of his voice.
the last gift from the king !! his amazing voice !!! God bless him for ever and ever, thank you buddy for show this and yours beautifull words
Everyone wants to be the best. The goal they strive for is to be as good as Elvis. The GOAT
His voice it’s really good for my soul, goosebumps each time I listen his interpretation. I think six weeks after this show, the king of rock and roll is gone for a better world 😢.
And made our world the poorer x God Bless x
This was the last performance he did before he died. Sounds like he sang his last eulogy. I never get tired of listening to him singing this song. It makes me feel so sad 😢😢
It wasn't his last performance. This was from June 21, 1977, at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center in Rapid City, South Dakota, exactly 8 weeks before he was taken from us. His last performance was June 26, 1977, at Market Square Arena in Indianapolis, Indiana, 5 days later. ❤
One of his last concerts. Was only weeks before he passed away.
One of his last concerts. Was only weeks before he passed away.
Even though Elvis was spiraling here…unwell, high and addicted to prescription drugs, hence the slurred speech, he was able to perform this incredible rendition of Unchained Melody live, while playing the piano. He passed 6 weeks later.
The king.In rare form.R.i.p. elvis.
Great reaction! Elvis is the greatest singer ever, even Pavarotti said he wished he could sing like Elvis
This song was first recorded in the 50s.Elvis has more heart.
I cry every time i watch this.....EVERY TIME.

NOTE : This performance was exactly 8 weeks before Elvis passed, on August 16, 1977. He was
very sick at the time, yet he still got on stage and performed his heart out. It took me a long
time to watch this performance because I knew it was so close to when we lost him, but I'm
glad I eventually decided to watch it because it's an unbelievable performance. Still
heartbreaking to watch, yet so damn beautiful. You can't take your eyes off him. I cry
every time I watch this. I'm crying just typing this now because I'm thinking about this
performance.

Just a few weeks away from passing away, too
THIS WAS HIS LAST PERFORMANCE..HE WAS VERY SICK HERE...HE DIED SIX WEEKS LATER❤
It was not, there were 5 more concerts after it.
this wasn't his last performance

DOCUMENTARIES
There are many documentaries out there about Elvis, but I have narrowed it down to four clips
for you. These documentaries showcase who Elvis really was as a person.
200 CADILLACS (Elvis Presley)
th-cam.com/video/KHd5mEfxXlg/w-d-xo.htmlsi=r64oixe6Y9zeq7C1
NOTE : Documentary detailing Elvis extraordinary generosity. Featuring Linda Thompson and
many more people who knew and loved Elvis; Jerry Schilling, Marion Cocke, and Myrna Smith.
I know this documentary is just on an hour, but it is worth the watch.
THE KIND OF KINDNESS
th-cam.com/video/CrJ1c9tm-C0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=52vfzLnHZqnkpTUp
NOTE : Elvis Presley was not only the King of rock and roll. He was also a kind person who did his
best to treat others the way he would have wanted to be treated. We could use more people
in this world like Elvis.
This is only a 6:30 clip, but it demonstrates just how kind and generous Elvis was.
ELVIS PRESLEY & THE BLACK COMMUNITY - THAT ECHO WILL NEVER DIE (PART ONE)
th-cam.com/video/xd1pXw1DmsA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=qU3JpiGcBuNbsjm-
NOTE : For many years Elvis has been accused of stealing "black music" and of being a racist.
There are still some people today, 46 years after Elvis' passing, who believe this to be true.
These rumours were passed down from their family members, and without doing any research
for themselves, have instead chosen to believe these lies.
I have watched many TH-camrs react to Elvis for the first time, who are open about their
feelings toward him, saying that they believe he was racist and stole black music.
Then they watch this documentary and it's a beautiful thing to witness how their mindset
changes, how they admit to being wrong about him, and to watch them go from hating Elvis
to absolutely loving him is so satisfying.
This documentary features Al Green, Stevie Wonder, Rufus Thomas, Sammy Davis. Jr, and BB King,
who all put those rumours to rest. More people need to see this documentary so they can see
who Elvis really was….a kind, generous, and loving person to all.
ELVIS PRESLEY & THE BLACK COMMUNITY - THAT ECHO WILL NEVER DIE (PART TWO)
th-cam.com/video/H17X71JVwKY/w-d-xo.htmlsi=7RYf13MD5_-Yl4lT
NOTE : This is the second part to the documentary, which features James Brown, Cissy Houston
(Whitney Houston's mom, who was one of Elvis' backup singers), and Elvis' cook, Mary Jenkins.
INTERVIEWS
You will notice that during interviews, Elvis would take his time answering questions.
He would really think about his answers and would try to give the interviewer a detailed
answer to their questions.
His answers also showcase, not only how intelligent Elvis was, but also how humble, thoughtful,
funny and down-to-earth he really was.
He is also just so beautiful to watch. His smile when he is asked a funny question, his smirk,
which is usually followed by a lick of his lips, a readjustment in his posture and a touching of his
face when he is asked a question that he doesn't quite want to answer because it makes him a
little uncomfortable, and his frown when he is asked an inappropriate question, which he usually
answers with a very polite decline or a sarcastic, yet still polite, comment.
ELVIS LIVE INTERVIEW - JULY 1, 1956
th-cam.com/video/z1f_V32Ojb0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=XA8gVevP0vxwqSCg
NOTE : This was Elvis' first, and only, live talk show interview.
Hy Gardner Calling!' was a famous talk show in New York. Using a spilt-screen format Gardner
called his interviewees at their homes. Here, Elvis is talking from his New York hotel room.
ELVIS PRESLEY PRESS CONFERENCE (1960)
th-cam.com/video/TkUytgLrhuA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=7qdY9rlpLqiErhPh
NOTE : This is Elvis' post army interview. He was stationed in Germany between 1958 and 1960,
and had just returned home when this interview was done.
ELVIS WOULD NOT BRAG AND WAS SUPER HUMBLE (1960)
th-cam.com/video/ixR4VtND5o4/w-d-xo.htmlsi=5n38kJSDpkYYmygy
NOTE : Johnny Depp once said that "Money doesn't change anyone, it reveals them."
This rings true to Elvis Presley. As a child, even though he grew up poor, he was very kind and
humble, so it's no surprise that as an adult, he continued to be kind, and humble.
ELVIS PRESLEY - INTERVIEW - MARCH 21, 1960 (MIAMI, FL) 4K
th-cam.com/video/vla5z00Ght4/w-d-xo.htmlsi=MY0LHmdG1qVnuKME
ELVIS INTERVIEW - MARCH 3. 1960 - FORT DIX, NEW JERSEY
th-cam.com/video/K4EqNJlM9aM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=4aT1tXP0vkDwqwpU
NOTE : The sound isn't great, but the picture is clear and if you can just try to listen to the
interview, you will love it. He was only 25 years old here, but mature, witty and very funny,
humble and down-to-earth.
ELVIS INTERVIEW - SEPTEMBER 22, 1958 - BROOKLYN, NEW YORK
th-cam.com/video/tX6SjU1-7WA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=mJn5bdtkBhJy_FpK
NOTE : The known footage of the "newsreel interview" compiled together - this was essentially a
"best of" of the press conference Elvis held upon his arrival to Brooklyn Army Terminal the same
day a while earlier. It was done to get some 'moving pictures' of Elvis to show in the news
before he headed for Germany.
Parts of the interview (audio) was released on the "Elvis Sails" EP (EPA-4325) in November 1958.
ELVIS ENTERS THE ARMY - MARCH 24, 1958 - NEGATIVE TRIMS (1958 FRANK KOZA COLLECTION)
th-cam.com/video/3XwKHBSuQEA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=aw9hfrY_y9FLYeBA
NOTE : Elvis Presley is processed into the Army on March 24, 1958 at Fort Chaffee, Arkansas.
He talks to reporters, fills out paperwork, and gets a physical examination. Elvis' parents,
Vernon and Gladys Presley, are seen briefly, looking dour. The day was dubbed "black Monday"
for his fans by the press.
Elvis chose to enter regular Army service as a private, rather than joining Special Services, in
which he would have entertained troops.
ELVIS SPENDS HIS FIRST DAY AT CAMP - MARCH 25, 1958
NEGATIVE TRIMS (1958 FRANK KOZA COLLECTION)
th-cam.com/video/--a2wrWaXVA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=dC0GqS3yEnjz-35S
NOTE : Silent news outtakes from 1958 capture Army Private Elvis Presley reporting to his first
day at Fort Chaffee after being inducted into the military.
FUNNY ELVIS PRESLEY
Elvis was a very funny person. He loved hearing jokes, and loved telling jokes. He enjoyed
playing pranks on people, and didn't mind in the least if people played pranks on him.
He loved to mess about during rehearsals and even on stage during live performances, changing
lyrics to make them funny, playing around with the crowd, telling jokes and making funny
comments that had people laughing so hard.
He wasn't afraid to make mistakes, and mock or laugh at himself. It was all about having a fun
time.
ARE YOU LAUGHING TONIGHT
th-cam.com/video/8oK0Wl7_MXk/w-d-xo.htmlsi=iLaQKGIUNpn7F8I1
NOTE : Elvis had such an infectious laugh, that when he started laughing, it made everyone
around him burst into laughter, even if they had no idea what he was laughing about. You will
find yourself smiling and laughing as you listen to this clip.
Elvis would often change lyrics of his songs to make them funny, and he did this mostly with his
song "Are You Lonesome Tonight".
The story goes : Elvis was performing the song "Are You Lonesome Tonight" and changed the
lyrics from "Do you gaze at your doorstep and picture me there" to "Do you gaze at your
bald head and wish you had hair".
At this point, apparently an audience member stood up, took his wig off, and started swaying
to the music while holding his wig in his hand. This of course, set Elvis off laughing, and once
he started laughing, he couldn't stop.
There is no footage of this, but there was audio recorded, and that audio of Elvis losing it on
stage, went to number one in the UK. Only Elvis could get a number one hit by laughing.
ALSO, PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS THE STORY BEHIND THE PERFORMANCE THAT HAS BEEN GOING
AROUND FOR YEARS, HOWEVER, IT'S BELIEVED THAT THE ACTUAL STORY BEHIND THE LAUGHING
INCIDENT WAS TOLD IN A BOOK WRITTEN BY SOMEONE WHO WAS ACTUALLY THERE, ONE OF
ELVIS' CLOSE FRIENDS. I HAVE NOT READ THE BOOK, BUT IF IT'S TRUE, THEN THE ABOVE STORY
WITH THE WIG IS FICTITIOUS. PLEASE KEEP THAT IN MIND.

THAT'S ALL FOR NOW. iF I COME ACROSS ANYTHING ELSE, I WILL BE SURE TO SEND IT TO YOU.
THANK YOU AND ENJOY.
In the mealtime, here is the link for "You've Lost That Lovin' Feeling " by Elvis ❤
th-cam.com/video/QTLjMiEJwq4/w-d-xo.htmlsi=9xrQdSxmy2MmJx7n
Hi there.
I thought I may as well just send you the links I have been talking about.
Maybe everyone in the comments section can look through the list and say which performances
they feel you should react to, or you can look through the list yourself and choose what you would
like to react to.
The links I send you are based on the ones I see reactors do, and of course, the many, many
requests for these performances, so I know which performances people want to see reactors to.
To the Elvis fans reading this..If I have left any performances out that you feel they should
react to, please feel free to add it to the list, along with the link, so it will be easier for them to
find the performance you want. Also feel free to correct any of my notes on performances. As you
know, many stories have been told about Elvis, as well as background stories for performances,
etc. I have noted what I have heard over the many, many years of being a fan, but if someone
has anything to add to it, or has heard something else about these performances, please feel
free to add to the comments. But please, no arguments about who is right and who is wrong,
unless you were actually there and witnessed it for yourselves. Thanks EP Fans.
If you have reacted to any of these, then you can just ignore them. :)
There are a few, so I will have to split them into, maybe, seven different comments.
I will start with the live performances.
Enjoy

Take note how the audience scream every time Elvis just moves his legs or upper body.
FUNNY HOW TIME SLIPS AWAY
1972
th-cam.com/video/UktTsMx7GlE/w-d-xo.htmlsi=5WRA97ytgL_zygwV
NOTE : If you watch carefully, after Elvis hands the security his scarf to give to a fan, he walks
to the side of the stage and throws something out into the audience. This was a ring he threw
out. He often did this and apparently, in the last few years of his life (the 70's), he had
purchased more than $700,000 dollars worth of jewellery, and gave most of it away. You might
notice in some of his performances, he has tape on his fingers. His manager, used to make
him put the tape on so when he is interacting with the audience, they weren't able to slip a
ring off his finger. However, in some shows, he would tell them to leave the tape off a certain
finger, then they knew he was going to give that ring away.
G.I. BLUES

NOTE : This was the best quality I could find. The second half is the original before
restoration, so you don't have to watch right to the end. You will see where the restored
one ends and the original one begins.
GOT A LOT O' LIVIN' TO DO
From The Film, Loving You (1957)
th-cam.com/video/zJzcRv-F3Gc/w-d-xo.htmlsi=w-4r4XDmjjSX104D
NOTE : Elvis's mom and dad, Gladys Presley and Vernon Presley made an appearance
in the film. You will see them on the right when Elvis jumps down into the isle & stops by
them. Gladys is wearing a blue dress and Vernon is next to her. The video ends with a
slow-mo, and then pauses right on his parents. After Gladys passed away on August 14, 1958,
Elvis never watched this film again, because it hurt him too much to see his mom on screen.

NOTE : Elvis loved to play around during his performances, which you will see a lot of while
on your Elvis journey. In this one, he loses his breath and forgets the lyrics.
HOUND DOG
The Milton Berle Show (1956)
th-cam.com/video/MMmljYkdr-w/w-d-xo.htmlsi=947KDjMILESVhtGx
NOTE : Elvis liked to change things up a bit on stage, so his band had to watch him to see
what he would do next. Apparently, in this clip, his band didn't know he would slow the
song down at the end, but being the professionals they were, they managed to fall in with
what Elvis was doing. It sounds like he's done performing, but keep watching, he isn't done.

NOTE : Elvis sang more than one genre of music. He did Rockabilly, Rock, Country, Blues and
even Gospel. This clips is one of his gospel songs, as I'm sure you have worked out by the
name.
