What is lacking in these videos are the "samples"' being edited on the tutorial video. It would be a perfect tutorial if we have those, open them on camtasia and then simply follow what is being done on the video.

If your cursor is burned into the .MP4 - there's not much you can do to remove the cursor or add effects. MP4 files are flattened. If you have a version without a cursor in your video, you could overlay a cursor using a motion path, which is found in the animation menu.
I'm not seeing the video others are seeing, evidently. From 0:04 to 2:50, the video does not match the audio. It would be nice if it went together. I hint that something is wrong is that a title suddenly shows up at 2:50 and then the audio and video match.

Can't say for sure, because it depends on the video file format, if it's a standard like mp4 or AVI then yes, but if they record using a proprietary format then probably not. when you press the mouse button down the cursor becomes smaller and becomes normal when you leave the mouse button giving a really nice effect. how to achieve this effect.
It's a very simple trick, but very effective! You can choose "Custom Animation" from the Animation tab and when you want it to click, simply reduce the Scale of (JUST) the mouse which you can manipulate under the Properties panel when you click the Cursor tab up top (again in Properties). Then, another Custom Animation to return it to normal scale. I hope that helps!
A timelapse can be done right in most cameras with their settings (even iPhones come with timelapse camera options). But if you're hoping to do a timelapse of a really long video clip or screen recording, you can just add Camtasia's "Clip Speed" from the Visual Effects tab onto the video clip and shorten it to your desired length. That will speed it up.
How make this kind of video the one you showing now.. Where cursor can move and highlight the things which we want to show.. And adding the text to teach them better..? Please suggest
Hi Maria! We have two different ways of achieving this effect. What we used to do was bring in a cursor element, either a .png or one saved to our Camtasia library, and animate it over our original screen-recorded cursor, to make it feel smoother. Can I use the camera on my iphone instead of the laptop camera, I also have an external mic hooked to my laptop input, if I tether my iphone to the laptop while also recording the screen, will it allow me to activate the iphone camera and use it's much higher pixel quality rather then using the camera in my laptop...? thank you
We'd recommend not tethering the iphone if you're going to use it as the camera because it doesn't show up as a video only, it also shows up with all of the iPhone camera controls on screen. Instead, try recording the video, separately while doing your screen recording (treat it as two cameras, 1) your screen/microphone & 2) your iphone) then you can import it afterward and sync them together (try clapping twice to get large audio wave spikes so you can align them more easily).
The crop tool can be found directly above the canvas window next to the cursor and hand tools. Click that, and blue handles will appear where you can begin your cropping.

Sure! See the green and red handles on the side of the play head on your timeline? Drag the green to the beginning of your first video, and drag the red to the end of your first video. Then choose Share > Produce Selection as (on Windows - or just Share > Local File on Mac and it'll tell you that you've selected only a portion). Then once it's exported, moved those handles to the beginning and end of what you want your second video to be. Repeat. I hope that helps!
If the footage from the Insta360 One X is exported into flattened footage such as an .mp4 then yes, but Camtasia is not 360 capable if that's what you're wondering.

Yeah, not sure what you're seeing, but there's no title at 2:50. That's odd. The video is definitely in sync when we watch it.

You will need internet access to download and activate Camtasia, but you can use it on your computer without internet during recording and editing.

Right-click the clip on your timeline and select "Separate Video and Audio" and one clip will become two.
