Excellent tutorial! Every time I've sat down to try and learn Premiere Pro, I've either found extrodinarly long videos which are great for really in depth understanding, but sometimes you just want to get in the basics quickly and learn how to navigate the program. Thank you!

This is now the second time (after several years of only have used it once for a school project) using premiere pro, because I have only been using final cut pro for editing my videos. I can not thank you enough on how much this tutorial has helped me and actually have answered questions I've been trying to figure on myself in premiere by just randomly clicking and doing stuff for hours without any success. LOOKING FORWARD
I've gone through a number of Premiere Pro YT videos to learn the basics. Every one of them seems to take the viewer through the weeds, talking way too fast for a novice to keep up. And before you know it, you're lost and frustrated, and you hunt for another video, which tends to be no different than the last one. Your video, Vince, was spot on. You stuck to the basics. You didn't race through the content. You were clear in your explanations, and I now have a basic understanding of how to use this beast Adobe Premiere Pro. I am definitely going to watch this. I've been using VSDC for a few years and have all the niches down. But someone recommended Adobe Premiere so I thought I'd give it a try and IMMEDIATELY find that by default it is much less user friendly for casual creators like me. Simple things like stopping and splicing video scenes, transitions, they are all out the window with this process.

Great video! I'm diving headfirst into Adobe creative suite as a whole, but Premiere was definitely the app I was most interested in. I'm transitioning from Vegas Pro (which is a solid program, don't get me wrong) and I was looking to expand my skillset and the Adobe ecosystem made the most sense for me.

Most of the time, if not all of the time, you will find better learning material than what the original brand had made for their specific training.
