Usually, I would say you are "Pampered" but I saw you helping and I know you work on bikes at home so a big "Well done!" to you. Good luck with the upcoming race! Excellent video!
Marin, Enve, Silva, Lauf, Chris King, Wolf Tooth - enough said. You've earned it. 👍 Also, you've finally seen the light with Shimano GRX...... Enjoy. 👍
Nice build, but: i would haven chosen GRX 12 speed mechanical. And i would love to see a Marin Headlands that can be build with a 2by groupset. Unfortunately Marin doesn't offer this option. I say "unfortunaltely" because the Headlands - in my opinion - is really a bike to fall in love with 😋😍
kudos to the mech for keeping at least a calm exterior demeanor while running the Di2 cables and junction box with a camera in your face. i hate doing this with the customer staring at me. cant imagine this.
Glad to find this, was curious if people go without dropper or suspension for gravel, lucky one I'm looking at is external routed, mainly as want my sram red 22 to go on a bike so not sit about, all rest be etap groupsets, only like shimano on flat bar
Really surprised with you going 11 speed GRX Di2. Widest cassette is 11-42. 12 speed GRX is 10-45 as standard but needs microspline freehub. Personally I doubt if Shimano will do a 12 speed GRX Di2, as they have given up on Di2 for analogue mountain bikes because the seat tube battery is incompatible with a dropper post. (There is a 12 speed Di2 rear mech that works with the Steps motor)
The oval chainring increases mechanical advantage at the 6 o'clock position. It also increases angular velocity. This is beneficial at the 6 o'clock position as the leg tends to stall with a circular ring. However, acceleration of the foot and leg increases at 12 o'clock. This is wasted energy.
A good example of how the bike industry has crawled up its own behind, getting totally dazed and confused in trying to create a new genre. Deep dish aero wheels on a gravel bike?? Too small a head tube?? Drop bars on a bike that you will need to be fighting with on twisty uneven steep surfaces when you need total control and your brakes and gears literally at your fingertips?? Lets face it, there are very little decent gravel rides in the uk. Most of the good stuff is owned by water authorities with no access. To grt of tge tarnac and seek adventure, you invariably will meet up with the sort of terrain that veers into mountain bike territory. A decent alloy frame with 700c wheels, 40c plus tyres and flat bars, with sensible slacker geometry, will do the job. But you can always get aucked in by the marketing and spend big money on a bike that's inappropriate and unstable.
8:58 now thats how you present a bike. My respectful kudos to whoever did it.
Great looking bike specially with those rims!

The blue wolf tooth and king bits look sooo clean with the Marin logo.
Miss Juliet, Thank you for a wonderful post. Bike redo is nice. New parts and the wheels look fantastic. Enjoy your new ride.
It's practically New Bike Day! Perfect bike, can't think of any way you could upgrade/improve it. Now you need to put massive amount's of miles on it.
You will enjoy your bike even more. Always great to add new components especially the group set!! Enjoy your ride👏👏

Brilliant, thank you Juliet. Love this kind of vid! Those wheels look sweet👌 The hubs should be illegal 🤩🤘🏼
Would like a full review of the elliptical chain ring...super curious to hear what you think of it.
I wish I had a bike cleaning station like that at my condo...
I’m not jealous honest
I’m definitely not jealous
I’m jealous as it looks superb.
Great video! Nice job !
Looks bloody amazing!!! Let us know what the first ride is like. 🥳👌👌
Big fan of retro and budget but that bike is cool, hope it performs as good as it looks.

Time to get dirty! Mud it up!

Been using elliptical (Shimano Biopace) chainrings for over 30 years.
Which WTB tires are you running? Looked like either the Riddler, or Radder, but couldn't tell for sure. What are your favorite tires?
M o r n i n g !

I like your jumper. It reminds me of Freddy Krueger.
You forgot to thank Kurt Cobain for the sweater.
@@Itsmemario488 Maybe. But I doubt Freddy Krueger would have much luck setting up tubeless tires. 🤔
Epic comment!
He doesn't need it any more.
Dennis the Menace
Yep,she Stole it from Freddie Kruger 😮......
I would love to hear your opinions about the elliptical Wolf ring after you have ridden it a few months. Enjoyed this vid.
I run a Oval 48|50 ~ 19 Fixed Gear and Luv in the usa Pacific Northwest
Proper build you have there!
Hi Juliet, up load that to GCN bike vault and I'll super nice it 😎👍
Nice build! Is it maybe time for a new frame with more space for electronic stuff :)

Sick build!! Ride on
I somehow missed the part where you switch from sram/zipp to shimano and enve… how could they let you go..
Did you put yor jersey on purpose to match the bike?? 😂.
Awesome bike, now the sun it's coming out, more often, so time to enjoy it.
Shouldn't the decals be either blue or red? 😉
that's criminal to mix wolf tooth to chris king lol
