If I was going to upgrade from my Pixel 4 xl to one of those. I whould go with the note 20 for its features . The s pen is why I like it by the way.
Excellent video. Just a heads up for everyone. ALL the new Note20 / One UI 2.5 sPen gestures have just arrived as an update to my Note10 plus (European model). I'm not really into gestures that much except for taking photos, and I have to say they are really very useful ones for remote camera control. Just to stress, I didn't get One UI 2.5 yet, just the SPen features.

The S20U seems like a better pick. I think auto-focus issues are overblown. I also prefer battery over s pen.

The auto focus is a big problem for me. I shot a whole TH-cam videos on my s20 and I had to scrap it and record again with my iPhone because of the focusing problem

Yesterday (2 Sept) I got my Note 20 (normal one) with Exyons 990, dual sim. And I love it... Sure it has a plastic back, but the feel of it in hand is just awesome! Yes it has a 1080p screen.. But it is butter smooth! Camera is awesome as well, price also perfect.

The s20FE just came out and it has a better battery, 120hz display, snapdragon 865 worldwide, and is cheaper! If you still have time to return it, I suggest it! But the Note20 is still a great phone regardless

Jus wanted to tell you but everyone says it don't but the note 20 ultra does in fact support the 45 watt charger
I got both phones and to be honest I'm a diehard note fan ,but the s20 ultra is the better phone..the note is a down grade in my sense....also I did benchmark on both and to be honest performance is the same ..the s20u is snapper and quick ..the note is also good but the edge on the s20u.

The Note 20 Ultra Wins
Wins for me .The S20 was made as SPECBAIT for customers. Same as clicking but for electronics and especially for smartphones. The S20 was not truly thought out and not ready for primetime when it appeared on scene.
To Samsung all these are just another phone and the price points have effects on Samsungs bottom line.
The Note 20 Ultra is coming down in price but not enough considering current events and evictions on the news cycle putting real fear because even with stimulus its to little to late.Wait and see in the next week . I feel if Samsung doesn't compromise with consumers these consumers will set the pulse on what comes next. From reports that Apple appears to be winning on price compared to Samsungs sluggish sales. I have both phones they are both great and s20 ultra has one ui 2.5 now so there is no difference between these phones except the s-pen , plus I never had any of the focus issues you were talking about with my s20 ultra and I bought mine the day it came out I've had no problems with it I will say one more difference I get more screen on time with my s20 ultra then note 20 ultra

The battery of the S20U has proven to be a lot better than the Note 20U, the auto focus issues for the most part have disappeared on the S20U at least on my experience I have been taking photos and videos in the past few weeks of having the phone with no issues at all, and also running OneUI 2.5.
Indeed the laser focus seems to be better and the picture quality also better on the note 20u, but the gap is closer than before

I wanna get a new phone, but Im not sure what to get. Iphone 11 Pro Max and HUAWEI P20 PRO are some of the nicest ones, but Im not sure. Wanna have a great camera and batteri + good safety. Still not sure, but I feel almost anything would be better that my old iPhone 5S. Your opinion?

Get the Snapdragon version of note 20 ultra if you want android. If you can't get the Snapdragon version, go for a Sony Xperia 1 II. Otherwise just go for the 11 pro max. Don't get Huawei lol

If it wasn't for the auto focus issue, the s20 ultra would of been a better phone, except for those who use the s pen of course. I sold it just because of it.
Note 20 ultra has more screen faults issue such as green penal, burn mark, green verticle line. My few friends having note 20 ultra, facing the same issue. While s20 ultra amazingly that don't have the above mentioned issue.

Hi great video but I have an unrelated question. I have the Samsung a71 and set up a work profile. I then didn't want it anymore and uninstalled it and everything but it still has the little work profile "badge" next to the gallery app. Anyone know how to get rid of it or why it's still there?

exynos 990 is worser than the snapdragon xd, i agree, that was why i skipped the s20 series and opt for the s10 lite with a 855, kinda weird that they can use 855 for all the s10 lite .

I use both. In my opinion, S20 ultra screen are much sharper, true blue 120hz also makes the screen so buttery SMOOTHER, note 20 ultra drain battery as If you turn on your water tap FAST, while my s20 ultra battery very very lasting, 12gb ram also makes my s20 ultra smooth and fast. Regret to my core for buying the note 20 ultra. Some fools might tell you that 3.1 UFS is faster than 3.0 UFS which is NOT true. Even my Samsung evo plus pro 512gb BLUE micro SD is only UFS 3.0. For daily driver, I strongly recommend s20 ultra.

The s20 Ultra has more RAM because it has a lower storage speed. A lot lower. The Note 20 Ultra has a much faster storage speed and bandwidth than the s20 Ultra. So because of this. It needs less RAM. This is not like home computers where more RAM is better. The Note 20 Ultra can be a lot more efficient because of its storage speed and it can do it faster than the s20 Ultra. A lot of people don't realize this. They just think more ram is better, because it will mean more power. But in the case of smartphones this isn't necessarily true. Look at Apple for instance. So the Note 20 Ultra will be faster with the smaller RAM than the s20 Ultra. Because it is a generation ahead in architecture.
In some countries, the Note20 Ultra starts with 8GB of RAM

Note: 3 year os support, s-pen, wireless Dex, gorilla glass 7, better camera, newer snapdragon chip, curved screen, cheaper, and newer.
Ultra: bigger battery, faster 45w charging, and more onboard storage.
The specs are in the Notes favor.
The note 20 Ultra has a smaller battery than the S20 ultra
So are the looks. Also the 45w charging isn't a big deal. Most beneficial for a quick 20 to 30 min charge, but for a complete top off its only faster by a few minutes over the 25w charger.
Whichever you buy you dont want a European version with the Exynos chip.
Note 20 ultra obliterates the cheaply made s20 ultra, which has no ultra about it.

I used the Note 20 Ultra for about 3 weeks. The battery life is horrible the phone is slow at times and overall the experience was subpar. This is after upgrading from a trusty note 9 on trade in. So Samsung removed the SO2 sensor off the back of the phone as well as the physical fingerprint sensor. They put the SO2 sensor in the Gear 3 watch so now you have to buy a $400 watch to do what the note 9 and previous generations could do on the fly from the phone, this in and of itself is another marketing ploy scam to screw customers. At any rate I'm now on an s20 ultra and the phone is 10 times better than the note 20 Ultra in my personal experience, it's snappier the battery gets me through the entire day unlike the note 20 Ultra but still I miss my physical fingerprint and SO2 sensor so I'm just thinking about going back to the note 9... oh and regardless of what amperage charger I used for my Note 20 Ultra the charging speeds still were horrible in comparison to my older Note 9 and S20 Ultra...

I still think that the Galaxy Note9 had the best design. And the S20 Ultra looks really bad imo from the back, not because of the camera, but because I really don't like that color and glossiness. It looks fine on the note though imo.

And the secrets is, s20 ultra is much more faster than the note ultra, be it snapdragon vs snapdragon, or exynos vs exynos. This is weird and I don't know what caused s20 ultra seem much more fast in responding.
That is most definitely not correct. The note 20 Ultra is faster. A lot faster. It has a much higher storage speed. UFS 3.1 compared to s20 ultras 3.0 , Making the Note 20 Ultra almost 10 Gigabit faster in memory bandwidth then the S20 Ultra. So because it has a much faster storage solution it needs less RAM.

My note 20 ultra never felt as smooth as my s20 ultra as its always stuck at around 90hz while my s20 ultra 24/7 maintain at 120hz is also what my note 20 ultra can't perform, in terms of battery life and screen resolution quality is much sucks than my s20 ultra.

And I'll tell you one thing the note 20 Ultra is faster than the s20 Ultra. If your s20 Ultra is faster then the Note 20 Ultra then there is something wrong with your Note 20. But I'm sure that you don't know a lot about technology. I guess you don't really know about generational differences. You would the one to think 16 GB of DDR3 memory is better than 12 GB of DDR5. But none of this matter is unless you got the fast storage.
