Shame they got rid of this awesome laugh in the remake. The new fat official design and laugh are just bad by comparison. Also he lost his joker-esque smile.
It really upsets me that they got rid of the sick twisted smile and the manic laugh. It was way more unsettling than the new look ever thought about being. That being said, literally everything else in the Remake is amazing so I can accept it.
The original were grotesque and creepy in an uncanny valley way. It looked like something that suppossed to look humanoid, but there's something that reveal his demonic nature. That maked this enemy terrifying. The new one is just grotesque.
I'm not on the hate ban wagon for the remake but they turned this chilling, cruel and terrifying monster into Cousin Earl, King of Alabama. It's just disappointing. I mean its an iron full helm... Not an inbred cartoony guy. I'm so mad. I love the original enemy so much...
Am i the only one who is not a fan of the remake? I don't have a ps5, but my brother in law got one and i tried the remake and was not really impressed. I much prefer the OG ps3 version
You're not wrong, they really dropped the ball on the remake. Impressive visual tech can't make up for a failure to understand the aesthetic and the essence of the game.
