I played this fight on Resilient mode, and all you have to do to damage it is just to use the flower's mark attack while it's running to get its shield taken down for a tiny bit, then once it's still, you can use the wasp by going around it and attacking its core Hope this helps! also damn this game is challenging

The game sometimes faces you with a vicious large canine who will cause your demise, *unless* you have the bone to placate it with. A text walkthrough I once read said "use if encountered." ... I found a pretty decent cheese strat for Eligot, just stand behind the pillars in the building you run into and hit him through them, from the right side. The hitboxes are wonky in typical DarkSouls fashion, so you can hit him through the pillars pretty easily

I didn't know to use the towel on the picture, hence I didn't get the password and could never get over to the girl. For years I've been trying to find this game to try to figure out what to do and where the story went. Thank you so so much for finishing the mystery for me that my child self couldn't finish (I died by the dog so many times xD lol, was waiting for you to have to give the bone to it then it leaves you alone).
