- Investigating officer Batho Mogola is expected back in the High Court in Pretoria today when the Senzo Meyiwa Murder Trial continues.
Yesterday, defence counsel Thulani Mngomezulu accused the investigating team of a cover up .
Five men are on trial for the killing of the Bafana Bafana captain in October 2014.
Mngomezulu claims Longwe Twala fired the shot that killed the soccer star.

I am sad to say but this seems to be a waste of taxpayer funds. SAPS bungled this case. It seems more beneficial at this time to admit negligence, make amends with the family. Everything seems like speculation and nothing is really conclusive. Every year it is the same allegations and denials. How much have citizens spent on this case?

I do not think that Mr. Mngomezulu is accusing them, he stated that it's according to his investigations. He is not accusing, he said according to his investigations.
