Beautiful car, is it a stripe delete car? I've also got a 2014 Shelby GT500 SVTPP, it's also white with dark blue striped think it's kahuna blue maybe, I've had it for a little over two years and I've put maybe 100 miles on it I know I need to change the oil. Great video.

Well thanks but the GT500 is a 2014 for sure. I actually took delivery of the car in March of 2013 and have photos of it on the assembly line and delivered to the front of the dealership with my sales guy and I watching the unload. All early 2014 models had the "dash pony" carry-over for 2013 and it was changed mid year to the Shelby snake. Thanks so much for watching and hope to see you at a car meet soon!!!

Just some old notes from the SVT Forum..there are no performance differences...all changes were very subtle: LCD Display - 2013 and early 14 cars show a Pony on startup and in track apps. Later 14 cars show Shelby GT500 text on startup and a snake in track apps. Launch Control RPM range - Early 13 cars allowed a range from 2500-5200 rpm. Late 13 and all 14 cars allow 3000-4500 rpm launch window. Supposedly is the optimum range for the car anyway. Joystick on steering wheel - Revised with a raised pad for the right arrow for easier use without interference with the airbag cover. I believe this 'inconvenience' was mentioned by one of the first 2013 owners on this very site. Perhaps Ford is listening! Anyway, I've seen some late 13 cars with this change in addition to all 14s. Starter- I dont know the exact design changes, but 14 is substantially quieter than the 13s Door Sills - 2013 say '20th Anniversary' below the illuminated SVT. 2014s only have the SVT. Garage Door Opener - Some cars use the 'Homelink' brand and some use 'Cars2U'. Right now it is unclear if there was a model year change, midyear change, or simply dual source during both years. Paint Colors - In 2014 Ruby red replaced Red Candy, and Oxford White replaced Performance White Paint Process - New '3-wet' paint process is used on 2014 MY cars. Heated Seats - Heated function on base seat is standard in 2014; was optional on 13 cars.
