I'm from the States and enjoy the mud larking, interesting bits of blue pottery that I see collected, and would like to see a mosaic of something, think it would be quite fantastic. Interesting to see the homes and scenery where my ancestors came from, I have an affection for things of history. It's quite nice seeing the family enjoying mud larking, Oscar, Katie, and Kitty are just precious. Thank you all for letting me join along with you all on the adventure, good day friends.
I love the pipe man! He is so awesome! I love how unique Kate's imagination is! It is truly something I would display in my home, he is adorable. He looks like a pirate, who runs his entire crew with an iron fist. All he needs is a pirate ship with tons of stolen treasures!
Here's an idea for your pipe stems...Candy Canes, to hang from stockings, Christmas tree, add to a holly vine... leave the pipe stem au naturale. Using wire, pipe cleaners or something bendable, to form the hook at the top of a candy cane. Attach to pipe stem, then add stripes, how is up to you. Attach beads to look like bulbs. Enjoy ;D
Oh, you two (three with Round-Up Cat) had me chuckling with the woes of poor Walter Raleigh the sailor pipestem man. After all, he did introduce - according to legend - tobacco to the British Isles. And, if Kate can get so excited about mudlarking in a soft sprinkle of snowflakes, I invite you to come to my back yard and look for artifacts in 3+ feet of snow. Not noticing that there is no ocean, river or stream abutting my yard. Super enjoyable. Thank you.
Kate looks cute in her yellow boots and raincoat and red umbrella something out of a children's book too fun, I used to wear these in the rain and play in the water!! Nice light snowy weather for mudlarking fun!! Another fun one 😊👍
I enjoyed that immensely! Loved the snow. Loved the scenery. Loved all the cool things you found. And I always enjoy Sonny Cat purring over your haul. The sailor man diorama brought to mind the old song “what do you do with a drunken sailor”. So creative. Thanks guys and I look forward to your trip with Tom.
Hi ladies, lovely video as usual, it's amazing how a few flakes of snow can bring out a person's inner child, the look on Kate's pretty face as she gazed out from under her brolly was priceless! So, you've had rain, hail and snow, I wonder what will be next week's theme? Tornadoes? Tsunamis? Earthquakes? lol. Lets hope it's a nice Spring heatwave! I loved Kate's pipe stem sailor, she should make him a lady friend with a doll's head face. As he's a sailor, he is supposed to have a woman in every port! lol Big hugs for you both, Louie Xx
You folks always make Sunday lovely. I adore Kate's little Peter Piper guy. Perhaps his future relatives might be for sale as I would surely make one of them my own. As ever, please, give Sunny cat a pet and a big "thank you"!
I love the fact that Kate takes so much care with her nails, love the fox, but then goes digging in the mud! I think your sailor should be Jack, as he is a Jack Tar.

There are so many things I love about your videos...the daffodils and snowbells are beautiful, and I love the footage of the shadows across the field. And the finds! Kate's wee sailor is SO cute! What a good idea! He looks like a Jack to me...please stroke Sunny for me, he's a lovely boy. You are all so intrepid! Rain, hail, and now snow! Don't you love the snow? We lived in Alaska for 7 years, and I adored it and miss it every winter! I'm looking forward to seeing what you find with Tom! Have a lovely week!😊
That is a beautiful little guy she made out of the part of the stem stem pipes she is creative I tell you Kate you are awesome I love everything you design they just turned out awesome
Great video, a mum and daughter mudlarking excursion that I quite liked. Yellow wellies and rain slickers to brighten the day, nice. Tiny bottle with a tiny man *First Mate Clayton* (Made of Clay Pipes, so fitting). I had to agree with Kerri Hudlin on the Clayton name. Mum's large pottery piece was so ornate and eye catching. Sonny is always a treat to see. Take care all. Ann
ADORABLE Miss Kate 😺!! In the start of the vlog, you looked like the Morton Salt girl walking down the lane ☔😉. Your sailor pipe man... ingenious!! Nicola@tidelineart would love it👍!! Another wonderful video ladies. I agree with the finds of the day. Kate little sailor was awesome. I thought maybe she was going to do some kind of necklace but she surpised me. Thank you so much for sharing the castle and fort and their history. That is always amazing to learn about. I also love how you ladies genuinely get so excited about life. The snow, the hunt, the finds and the friends. I can't wait to see next week's video. Good luck and Happy Hunting.
Every time you zoom in to pick up a piece of treasure my hand wants to reach past yours and pick up a different little something that eye spies! 😝 love the rain spattering sounds on the umbrella! Beautiful cobble stoned street! Thanks for taking us along!

Enjoyed immensely and I kept thinking their poor frozen fingers. We have hand warmers we can squeeze and they heat up. Hunters use them or people who work outside in cold weather. I’ll see if I can find some for you. I’ll keep in touch to let you know.
You always have the most soothing music. I LOVED all of the water noises...and when is started to snow...oh my! How magical! The blue and white pottery is always my favorite to find. THAT TINY BOTTLE IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST!!! And the larger pieces! And that cool sailor man! So clever. My Great Uncle Gene was a sailor of sorts, so of course I will offer his name: Gene! And of course that delightful Sonny Cat and his butt! That sweet stop motion at the end was fantastic, too. Thank you for another relaxing Sunday evening. Oh!
