Hi ladies and Oscar, That dump was a real treat for us all, although I must admit, I was quite worried seeing Kate climbing along that fallen tree, with her past record of getting herself into sticky situations! I was however, pleased to see her skipping across those branches like a squirrel !! (even with wellies on!). She also did a fantastic job with the creepy doll, giving him so much charm and character! I can't wait to see the little Swan next week! :) The look on sunny's face at the end had me in stitches! Big hugs for you all, Louie Xx
There were bubbles at the base of the tree because of water undermining the trees roots. Possibly during the next big deluge, the tree will tip when there's no more soil anchoring it. Great video. Love the felting.
I love the sweet way you treat your little brother. I have a little brother that is seven years younger than me and I treated him sweet too and after all these years he still remembers how nice I was to him , not like the other sister and brother. lol

fantastic yet again three go mad in yorkshire was waiting for kate to go for a quick dip in the river but fair play her balance on the wet trees was exceptional and all the finds that you discovered keeps getting the adventure going on and braving the atrocious weather that seems to be never ending keep on having fun the sun will come out soon plus love the craft projects ideas .ps sunnys hide and seek at the end was hysterical waiting in anticipation the dorset dinosaur appreciation society of mudlarkers yep me :-)
Humans are so adaptable, I see so many of you Brits mudlarking in the rain, here in Australia most would call off any excursion in the rain. Love your little mudlarking outings and your creativeness.

Oh no! I saw a little green bead and you missed it! Nooooooo! “She’s lost her legs, her head and her arms” perfect, I would have thought. The teeth were a great find. If I remember toothpaste in metal tubes does that make me old? Oh dear. This was such a fun video to watch. I now live in NZ, I found the plastic rubbish very odd to see. We just don’t get that here. I had forgotten about the rubbish. I realise there had been a storm, but still.
That Kate is an adventuresome soul. Great creek crossing. You had fun out there. The children ended up bedraggled again ,but with nice big smiles on their dials. Nice finds and a good day out despite the drizzle. Love those wee blue bottles. I will get one, one day I guess. Your children are humming therefore happy and content.

Great footage as always. The tube like container with the black lid is a button display holder. It should have 2 holes in the bottom where you would sew a button on to show which ones were inside. The green one could well be the same but I noticed there were no holes.

In spite of the weather, an altogether glorious lark with Tom, the elusive but generous Yorkshire Mudlarker. Your finds were amazing and varied, from beads to bottles of all shapes and sizes...and those figurines, wow!
Re the coffee/chicory bottle. Shieldhall is part of Glasgow and SCWS stands for Scottish Co-operative Wholesale Society. My grandpa use to drink Camp coffee which a brand of this.

This is going to be a long comment...Great hunt with great finds. I don't mind playing in the rain either. As long as I don't get to cold. It was fun seeing Oscar out with you again. At 2:55 I think that is a hat pin. The ladies wore their hair up and when they put a hat on, they would push one of those thru one side of the hat, their hair and then the other side of the hat. This would keep the hat on. Most were metal, like giant straight pins usually with a glass head on the end. But those were more expensive so plastic ones were made more budget friendly. 6:21 I think the little monkey on that piece was Courious George from the cartoon of the same name. 6:55 the tiny blue bottle was from "Evening in Paris" perfume. I have 1 so far and I am working on getting one of each style. The one I have is just like yours. The dentures were funny. Kate found her's first and commented about what would mom think. Then we found out when mom found her's. LOL That little mushroom light bulb was cute. I don't think I have ever seen one like that. I love Kate's little giggle when she gets excited. It is so cute and so genuine. Did you bring the 2 bigger light bulbs home? You can turn them upside down, and Kate could make clay bases for them and you can use them as flower vases. Congratulations Kate on finding your first full marmalade jar. I think the horse shoe might actually be a pony shoe. They would shoe pennies for little kids to ride as transportation just like the adults would use horses. Kate, your doll reconsruction was cute. You are quite the artist. Mom, for your pen tray, do you have a glue called E6000 over there? That is what I would try to repair the pen tray with. At 18:19, where dark brown balls on the stick, cramp balls? Those work great for fire making. I think I am done now. I really enjoyed this video. And I was happy to see Sunny cat at the end being a typical cat.
