I learned what seeds I can use to start my sprout garden. Just need to make sure I'm using any seeds that will germinate fast. I'm so starting mines as I'm watching this video. I do have a lot of seeds from my spring garden that I had. Plus I feel better knowing I can still have my salad without being poisoned with something. Thank you. I enjoy your channel.

Hey Kim, Long time listener...first time caller ; )
Love the sprout method....my 6th grade AA Teacher Mr. Sam Lewis taught us how to grow them a 'Long time ago'. Got my son into it, after he witnessed them 'exploding' in a jar overnight, haha. In closing, Thx....i know im only one of 1000's that truly appreciate what you 'share'....something we all learned how to do in the 2nd Grade. And your 'CC' captions is a brilliant idea!! Thx again, Gary~

Hey Gary, appreciate you being a long time listener - nice to meet you and so glad you commented! Love the story about your son. Sprouts are super fun to grow with kids, the immediate gratification is so satisfying. Glad you enjoy the CC, hopefully it helps more people be able to learn about growing veggies. Thanks for watching and entering the giveaway - good luck!

I'm on my third jar of growing my sprouts. I'm glad I watched this video even though I did this years ago. What I learned was the ratio of seeds with the container used. The first and second jar I used too many seeds and the third not enough. Now that I know the ratio and I'm going to get started on a pint of radish sprouts. I use new knee high hose for the tops secured with a rubber band. I'm a Florida gal and can still grow some things outside, but these are so good, easy and fast. Thanks for the info, I will be waiting to watch you live on Monday.

Okay, you talked me into it!! I already started some Microgreens today. Now I'm soaking Adzuki, Garbanzo, Mung, & Green Pea seeds & beans for sprouts!! (I got the seeds from True-Leaf Market. This is called the "Protein Powerhouse Mix!!) I'm looking forward to the next couple weeks (Christmas) so I can taste everything!! Thanks for your videos & all that you teach us!!

My Mom used to grow sprouts! I forgot how easy they were to grow. I didn't realize you could use almost any type seeds!
