Now everyone knows what city your pedalboard is in buddy 🍾🎉
I built my pedalboard exactly the right size . . . Which was, of course, immediately too small.
😂😂😂❤️❤️❤️
i started at 40x30, moved on to 60x32, then finally to 70x45.. But now it’s too big so I’m planning to build a travel board the size of 50x35….
Great info, I enjoyed the way that you presented your information. Also- "Sunshine state, my ass" - lmao!
Ha! Thank you!
Nice one Buddy! Love the rundown.
Thanks for making it happen! If it were up to me I would have had the wah on a slanted board and develop tendinitis of the ankles
haha glad I saved you some doctors visits. @@BuddyBlues
I did a similar thing to the Audition - I've got a TRS patch bay on my board, I can patch in a pedal pre-drive, post-drive, or post-wet. Tip is the send, Ring is the return. When I'm not running an external pedal, I close the circuit with a TRS jack that I soldered the tip to the ring
That’s brilliant
Buddy never puts bored pedals on a pedalboard 🥁
I’m never pedalbored
Buddy - thank you for this. Your channel is so helpful. You should have 500K SUBS
Great video. One killer pedal board Buddy.
Great video! Thanks for all the information!😊 In the past I wasted a lot of money, time and nerves for bad cables, power supply, "cheap solutions" that at least was very expensive because of changing all the bad things on my pedalboard and buying better parts🤪... I like good solutions, no noise from electromagnetic fields and interference, no hum, just silence if you don't play your guitar. I will try out this power supply, because I will start with a new pedalboard. Sometimes I play guitar in locations with poor wiring and electrical interference and this makes it difficult to play guitar with normal single coils... Than I use humbucker solutions... Maybe you have also some tricks for this problem. I tryed out interference suppression units, sometimes it worked well.
I think wiring and cable routing is often underrated. 🤔
One step bigger ha ha that's so true this was so perfect that it made me laugh big time thank you Buddy!
😂😂 Thank you for watching!
Looks and Sounds great man!!!! I’m jealous!
Good stuff. Thank you for your service dude. Very useful.
Thanks so much for watching man!
@@BuddyBlues Always good to meet someone who speaks "your language". Keep doing these cool videos. Cheers from Italy.
Oh man, I just finished my new board build and i wish I saw this a month sooner!! I absolutely love mono stuff so i would have used that board in a heartbeat. Damnit! Oh well… love your videos man!! You are Fn hilarious buddy 😂
🔥🔥🔥
I had no idea you could daisy chain of each port. I have 2 Fender 12 power supplys for my home board. They are 500ma as well.
Loved the video Buddy. You make it look easy. Will have to give Goodwood Audio a call... BTW you could have just put the controller of the R2R Electric Wah on the board and connect the separate expression pedal, but I'm sure you realized that. I got that unit after looking for it for months and it's phenomenal. I don't love that the on off isn't activated by the pedal, but whatevs. And when are we gonna get a full vid on the finished 345??
Yes sir! The R2R is on a separate board and that how I have it running. Controller on the board, exp pedal on the side
Killer board for an always on reverb try the babyboom reverb from biyang so cheap and sooooooo good
I got it ❤😂
Digital pedals get ya closer to that 500ma threshold. I’m using UAFX dream, doubling for an hx stomp, looper pedal about 350 ma and so on. Extra power needed for them future pedal configs
Awesome video! It would be nice to see a diagram of the signal chain. You do a couple things I'm not used to seeing.
Yes sir I’ve posted it in a pinned comment 💪🏼
omg u cracked me up on "sunshine state my ass!!" lmaoooo do you like orlanda?? thats a nice guitar center
hi from nyc...u helped me get my LSL!!!!!
😂😂😂 I love Orlando! Orlando has given me so much. But referring to Georgia when speaking of peaches makes sense, referring to BIG when talking about Texas makes sense, referring to beautiful mountains when talking about Oregon makes sense. Referring to the sun in any way shape or form when talking about Florida is a lie 😂 I’ve been here 16 years and I’ve seen the sun twice
being from nyc we visit miami beach alot!! depending on time of year we get alot of sun...but clouds and rain come with it lolll@@BuddyBlues
Try a Keeley Hydra in that last spot. Will do Reverb and Trem
If you don't want the Cloudburst, I'll be happy to hold on to it for you :)
You’ll need the extra open power slot for the wah (or whatever pedal you are auditioning).
Aahhh great point I forgot to talk about! No I won’t! Because the audition has an IN power and and OUT power!
@@BuddyBlues Nice!
Very nice! The cables to daisy chain come with the Mono or you bought them separately? Thanks
Separately from Goodwood Audio. They are custom length made by hand
Appreciated!@@BuddyBlues
Anyone know how the mono power supply compares to the zuma?
I like how you set the cloudburst to "blade runner" mode! hahahah got instant Vangelis vibes.
And how glorious is the Halo?!?! Have you tried it with an expression pedal?
Last but no least... I always appreciate when you butcher cliffs of dover hahahaha brilliant stuff!
Cheers.
HM
🤣🤣🤣🤣 thanks Hugo! I have accepted the fact that I’ll never be able to play it and I’m finally at peace haha
I’m liking the halo, I need to sit with it a little longer and really make my own presets
Playing Vangelis is about the most satisfying thing I’ve been able to do with the cloudburst.
Keen to know what you think of the Halo longer term.
Currently deciding between DM101, Brig or Halo but having a hard time choosing.
Dual Lock overkill😄 You absolutely don’t need to use that much Dual Lock.
You do when you’re a touring musician and are sometimes forced to check your pedalboard at the gate 🫡😘
You might be right! And too much is better than not enough. Keep up the good work Buddy!
which size of this pedalboard?
I can never settle on a board. I build one, like it and then want to switch it up a month or two later and do it all over again. Cycle repeats itself over and over.
the whole rule about not passing signal cables over power cables only applies to AC voltage, that's how AC crosses over capacitors and through transformers and what not, DC can't make the jump
Surprised you didn't start by pedal layout with plugs already inserted (not cables) just to make sure spacing was ok. But an excellent video with good clear explanations.
Bro what chu mean by signal cable over power??? 17:00
What’s the order bro?😊
"Sunshine state my ass" Mhm, lived in South Florida all of my 29 soon-to-be 30 years of life. Volatile weather, one second it's clear, 2 seconds later the world is ending. This often repeats in a continuous cycle. Basically, the weather is so volatile that I learned how to read Doppler radar and plan my days off that 🤣
i go to miami beach alot....live here in nyc! maybe its just when i go but its beautiful with a ton of sun!! yeah it drizzles a bit every day but nyc can suck assss!!!!
@@sooparticular Oh it can be beautiful no doubt! Fall and winter is the time to visit Miami Beach, the weather seems to stabilize a bit come fall and winter! I've been to NYC as well, very fun city with an endless amount of activities to do and MSG is absolutely magical! No arena out there like it.
4:48 didn't even finish the video
Why does the interface need to be on top of the board? You would have room for an additional pedal…
Because of the mute button it has 💪🏼 plus I think it looks cool
@@BuddyBlues Thanks for the quick answer. Makes sense.
@@wolfnstringsgrant does an “Underfacer’ as well.
Try using double sided thick gel tape instead of Velcro. It's sticky yet easy to remove.
Been using 3M double sided tape for decades. Fantastic stuff, easy to swap out pedals, and leaves no residue when removed.
Build your pedalboards while you are young. Wires get confusing when you're old.
why get an isolated power supply if you're going to power up multiple effects off the same output ??? ... it's ground loops like that, just the same as if your supply wasn't fully isolated.
“500 MLw is all I need”, well good on you. Some of us have BOSS units that need 600MLw.
Let's build a pedalboard? No thanks!
Pretty obvious the 4 rail is a design flaw. Look how much wasted space. I don't even know 5 rows are good either - middle row pedals only placed on 1 row? C'mon MONO! Love the aesthetics but impractical.
Wait got to minute 9:11 in the video. That’s how they designed it to be haha it isn’t mono it’s me, I’m the problem
